PokeNatomy Art Series Takes You Inside a Pokemon

Artist Christopher Stoll is the brilliant mind behind PokeNatomy – a series of detailed, anatomical drawings of Pokemon, with descriptions explaining how real-life biology concepts can be applied to our favorite monsters.

Christopher uses an obviously impressive knowledge of real-life anatomy and physiology to describe how Charmander can regulate its tail flame, why Bulbasaur’s bulb may be essential for its survival, and how Voltorb may be formed – from Pokemon that have been left abandoned in Pokeballs! Pretty cool idea, right?

Christopher will be releasing books of his PokeNatomy creations featuring all 150 original Pokemon in Spring this year. They can currently be preordered on his website. Check out some of the cool PokeNatomy Pokedex pages below.
