Just in time for April 1st, Niantic have given the Pokemon GO graphics a fresh new look.
Pokemon sprites have been “updated” to glorious 8-bit in the Pokemon menu, Pokedex and wild Pokemon radar. The sprites are resized versions of those used in the main series Pokemon games.

Registering approximately twice the definition of 4K, the chunky squares of each pixel provide realistic detail and unbelievable definition. Though it is an April Fools joke, many trainers like the change and are hoping Niantic will make it a permanent option in future. What do you think?
