Let’s power up those grass type pairs!
The next Training Event for Pokémon Masters is now live. This event is the Grass-type Training Event event and features multiple Training Courses all weak to grass-type Pokémon, and a new Sync Pair Scout banner that increases the chance of getting the newly added Sync Pair, Lyra & Chikorita. This event runs for two weeks until September 30th 2019. With this, they also added a new EX Challenge against Barry.
As a newly added sync pair, Lyra has a lot of potential. She is a five star support pair that starts off with a Chikorita. This pair has the potential to evolve into a Meganium, giving them access to the Sync Move: Heart of Gold Leaf Storm. They get access to four moves: Energy Ball, Light Screen, Dire Hit All, and Sunny Side Up! Sunny Side Up is Lyra’s exclusive trainer move that raises the Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed of all allied sync pairs. It also sharply raises them if the weather is sunny. They also have the passive ability, Solar Shield. With this, the Pokémon is not affected by status conditions when the weather is sunny.
It’s unclear if Lyra will be added to the regular gacha after this banner event so be sure to grab her while you can!
