Details for the next saga of the Pokemon anime have been revealed. Pocket Monsters XY will follow Pokemon Best Wishes in Japan and will premier on October 17th. 2012. This will be five days after the release of the games worldwide.
The anime will feature Ash and Pikachu traveling to the Kalos region to continue his journey in becoming a Pokemon Master. Instead of starting off in the region’s starting town from the game, Ash and Pikachu will begin their travels in Lumiose City.
Ash’s new outfit looks similar to the male playable character from Pokemon X and Y.
No details on when the Pokemon XY anime will start for the United States.
