Get ready for some promos that are out of this world!
The prerelease promos for “Astral Radiance” have been revealed! These promo cards will be given out in Build-and-Battle kits for “Astral Radiance” prereleases. These prereleases will run from May 14th through May 22nd.

Hisuian Samuurott
Hisuian Samuurott will surely be a popular card to have thanks to it’s ability. The Wily Stance ability allows you to discard one card from your hand to draw three cards. That is some major draw power!
It is unsure if this ability would be better or worst then other similar abilities. It will surely be used a lot in the prerelease format to draw cards. So that is a plus. Though, it could be used to some success in the meta. Especially if we see cards rotate after Rotation in the summer.
Magnezone
If you want to get plenty of Metal energy on the field then use a Giga Magnet. Luckily, that is Magnezone’s ability. Once during your turn, Magnezone’s Giga Magnet ability allows you to look at the top six cards of your deck. If you find any Metal Energy in there then you can attach them to your Pokemon however you like.
This ability may be appreciated in several decks that use Metal Energy. Especially after Rotation where we will most likely see Zacian V and Metal Saucer rotate. Of course, Magnezone will need to be set up though the pay off could be pretty big if you can get a few Metal Energy on the bench from the deck.
Wyrdeer
If you want to run fast then Wyrdeer’s Fast Paced ability will be your guide. If you have Wyrdeer out then you can use the Fast Paced ability to draw one card. There is no limit to this. That means if you have several Wyrdeer out then you can use their ability once each.
This could be a quick and easy way to draw cards. Both inside and outside a Prerelease format.
Hisuian Basculegion
Hisuian Basculegion’s Grudging Dive will be perfect as a revenge attack. If one of your Pokemon was knocked out during you opponent’s last turn then you get to do more damage.
For a single Water Energy, you will be doing base 30 damage plus 90 more damage. All you need to do is have one of your Pokemon knocked out last turn by your opponent.
Release Dates
Once again, “Astral Radiance” prereleases will take place from May 14th to 22nd.
“Astral Radiance” will be release on May 27th, 2022.
