Fans of secret bases in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald will be happy to hear that they WILL be making a return in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. In the Super Secret Bases, players will be able to decorate them as they please. You can even create your own Pokemon Gym!
Players can use communication features to share your Secret Base with others around the world via Street Pass or sharing a QR code of it. When visiting others’ Secret Bases, you can meet other trainers in the same base and invite them back to your base as Secret Pals. Secret Pals can be interacted and battled with and share special skills such as making Pokemon Eggs hatch faster, give new Decorations, or raise the level of a Pokemon by one.
A feature that returns from Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum is capture the flag. You capture another trainer’s flag by examining the PC in that trainer’s Secret Base and safely take it back to yours.The more flags you can get, the higher your rank will be, which brings rewards such improving a Secret Pal’s skills.
