Could you live on Squirtle Lane soon?
It could happen sooner then you think! That is because a neighborhood in Las Vegas will have some streets named after some popular Pokemon!
Some of these Pokemon that will be given the chance to be used for a street name include Squirtle, Snorlax, Charmander, Charizard and Jigglepuff.
So why the use of Pokemon names to name some streets in a Las Vegas suburb? That is because the developers need to come up with some unique names for the new streets for the upcoming new suburbs.
Below is what Harmony Homes LLC construction manager Andrea Miller had to say regarding the use of the Pokemon names for their streets.
“It’s really, really hard to name streets in this town,”
The inspiration for the use of Pokemon names for streets came from Miller’s children. While coming up with the street names, she asked her children and they suggested to use Pokemon names.
Now when you look up Serenity Place, you can find street names such as Jigglypuff Place, Charizard Lane and Snorlax Lane. Perhaps one day you can drive down Charmander Lane.
