The Summer Solstice Event brings something colossal to Pokémon GO

Starting June 17th, a returning event brings a new Pokémon to Raids and some hemispherical spawns to keep things interesting. During this event, the walking distance to earn hearts with your buddy will be halved. Your buddy will also bring you more gifts and Pokéballs. But enough about that, lets get into the good stuff.

Running from June 17th, 2021 at 10 a.m. to June 20th, 2021 at 8 p.m. local time you can expect to find Solrock, Lunatone, Spheal, and even Snorlax if you are lucky.

Raids will include Solrock, Lunatone, Klink and more. After this event concludes, Solrock will be found exclusively in the Western Hemisphere, while Lunatone will spawn in the Eastern Hemisphere.

Northern Hemisphere

If you reside in the Northern Hemisphere, where days are getting longer and hotter, the Solstice event has a special treat for you. Yanma, Chimchar, Summer Form Deerling, and more are spawning more frequently. Shiny Yanma will be lurking around if you are lucky enough!

If raiding is more your thing, expect to see Alolan Marowak, Yanma, Petilil, and more popping from eggs near you.

Southern Hemisphere

The days are getting shorter, Winter is threatening to make an appearance. Also appearing in the wild are: Snorunt, Snover, Winter Form Deerling, and more. if you are feeling lucky, you could encounter a Shiny Snorunt.

Popping up in Raids, look forward to Lapras, Piloswine, Snorunt, and others.
