A new event and a new update are now kicking off in Pokémon Café Mix! With it come several new customers, new orders, and new gimmicks for you to take advantage of. So let’s get right into it shall we?
Special Customer Event
The next special customer event has begun! This event adds the Pokémon Torterra to the game. To recruit it, you need to encounter it at least once during the event period and then continue to invite it until recruited. The event runs until September 23rd 2020. Torterra itself is a drinks specialist, and its ability allows it to clear Pokémon icons and gimmicks below, and replace the icons above with icons of the most common Pokémon. This skill seems especially helpful when used against the new gummy mechanic so be sure to recruit Torterra while you can.
New Pokémon Available
With this new update, two new Pokémon are available for recruitment in the mainline game: Wobbuffet and Audino! Wobbuffet is an Entrée’s specialist whose skill replaces surrounding Pokémon icons with megaphones then sets them off. Given one of the two new dishes introduced is an entrée, something tells me Wobbuffet will be very useful here. Wobbuffet becomes available after completing order 275. Audino specializes in Small Plates and has a skill that replaces Pokémon icons in a ring with megaphones, then sets them off. Audino becomes available after completing order 325.
New Orders and Gimmicks
Two new orders are now available! The Pikachu Fruit Flan is a Sweet dish described as “a decadent fruit flan loaded with fruits. Pikachu’s smile is too cute to share.” The other new dish is an entrée, the Happy Snorlax Loco Moco. This dish is described as “a satisfying loco moco that will put a smile on Snorlax’s face. It even comes with a cup of soup!”
These two new dishes make use of two new gimmicks: Canned Fruit and Eggs. Canned Fruit becomes available after order 291 and can only be cleared with skills or megaphones. Eggs become available after order 331 and have to be activated by making a combo touch the egg. Notably, eggs are also able to move around.
