"Thanks Brandon, lets get out there and search."

The two trainers set out into the deeper part of the woods. The Light from Brandon's Charmelion w=made it possible to see, but it was still dark and spooky. He was glad to have A fellow trainer to have his back.It was especially nice since his only viable Pokemon was Kick-Puncher. Rocky had no idea what use Matapod could be, so he left it in its Pokeball.

Rocky called out in a loud voice, "Rusty, Fury, Speedy! It's time to come back!" he then listened to see if they called back.

Brandon looked at Rocky and replied "Sure, no problem, besides my pokemon are having fun and appear to be loving it, even if we never come across anthing, they are having a blast practicing their defensive manuevers" Brandon and Rocky contiued to walk on in somewhat silence except for when Rocky called to his pokemon every few minutes. Pidgey circled back every so often so his trainer could see him and know he was alright. Very sudcenly though, Pidgey screeched and cawwed "PIDDGE PIDDGEEEE PIDDGGGGGGEEE PIDDGGEEEEE PIDGEEY" and dove in the trees about a half or so mild from whefe they were walking and then flapped back up to above the trees, he looked at his trainer then landed on his shoulder gently. The look his Pidgey gave him said that they should probably hurry up and pick up the pace. Brandon shouted to Rocky "Rocky! Come on, we got to hurry, something is up, Pidgey saw something that concerned him about a half mile up from here, I don't know what it is yet, but Pidgey's look says it all" with that he took off running, his pokemon running alongside him, still keepingmtheir defensive formation very vell, even little Caterpie seemed to be keeping up. Skipper made the flame on his tail shine brighter, so they could see further ahead. Pidgey had started growling under his breath and it grew louder the closer they got, he seemed on edge, his claws seemed be ready to tense up, but the bird pokemon resisted so as not to claw up his trainers shoulder. Brandon didn't know what it was they were about to be up against and he didn't like the faint annoying buzzing his ears were doing. Whatever this was, it would be big.

More than a half out had passed since the bracelet had been found. Instead of searching the area where it could be Rocky and Brandon went off on their own and decided it was a good idea to enter the darkest parts of the woods. The Beedrill infested death woods mind you* As Brandon and his pokemon hid from the great terror. Two little girls ran playfully by.

"You're it!" The first joked

"No you're it." The second whined.

They two noticed Brandon and his terrified pidgey.

" Aww are you two lost?" The first asked

" The woods can be a lot of new trainers.." The little girl said looking at Brandon.

" Pewter is right up the path though, I think they sell flashlights and maps should help any trainers explore.." The second little girl said helpfully now looking at both big manly trainers.

Nathan decided to take a break from training with Matt and sent Matt back to his Pokeball. He went to the Pokemon Center and got everyone healed up and began to write in his journal.

While writing down in his journal, Leafy began to glow in white. The white light began to change form, it got bigger, a bulb on it's back got bigger, and finally, leaves grew out. Leafy had evolved.

Desperately Ember leaped around, trying to dodge the Oddish's attacks. He might have had a type advantage, but the Oddish was stronger. Just when neither Pokemon could bear to take any more damage, Ember scored a direct hit, knocking out the Oddish. "Good job Ember!" Rose said, patting him on the head as he ran over. It was the first time she had ever beaten another trainer in a battle.

Alice walked with the others towards the Pewter Pokemon Center. Once inside, she healed her Pokemon and then sat down and pulled out her notepad. She wanted to take some notes about the interestingly coloured Pokemon she had spotted earlier.

Alice spotted Nathan writing in his journal on the other side of the Center. Suddenly his Bulbasaur began to glow... and evolved into an Ivysaur. Alice smiled. She had noticed that Nathan was always busily training his team and was glad his hard work was paying off.

Rocky could sense the malevolence of the forest. It felt like eyes were following them. He looked around desperately, not knowing which way was back to Pewter. He knew that he had made a mistake. This place was a deathtrap wrapped in a horror movie.

Looking at Brandon, he saw the fear was affecting the other trainer as well. He heard an ominous rustling from the bushes. Suddenly something sprang from the bushes.

"Aaaaargh!" Rocky yelled in terror.

Two little girls ran playfully by.

"You're it!" The first joked

"No you're it." The second whined.

They two noticed Brandon and his terrified pidgey.

" Aww are you two lost?" The first asked

Rocky cleared his throat and looked at Brandon.

"Lets not tell the others about this part, OK!" he said, slightly embarrassed.

He then heard giggling behind him. He turned to find his three Pokemon, safely back from their adventure. "I hope you three had fun, because I have all the fun and excitement I need for today. Let's go before we run into another Beedrill." Rusty ran over and jumped into Rocky's arms snuggling up tight. Speedy ran around in circles. Fury thumped his chest and proudly said, "Charmander".

"What do you say Brandon? I'm ready to head back. Pity we didn't find any Beedrill. I wouldn't mind catching one for my team."

After writing in his journal, Nathan returned to the Pokemon Center and pressed the "ON" button on the PC. "Which C, would you like to use? Bill's PC, Prof. Oak's PC, LOG OFF," read Nathan. "Um, Nurse Joy, how do you use this thing?" asked Nathan. Nurse Joy walked over to Nathan. "Oh, well it's asking you which PC you want to use. You chose 'Bill's PC' you withdraw or deposit your Pokemon and items, or you can chose 'Prof. Oak's PC' to get your Pokedex evaluated," said Nurse Joy. "Thanks!" responded Nathan. Nathan clicked on "Bill's PC." "Withdraw Pokemon, Deposit Pokemon, Organize Boxes, Withdraw Items, Deposit Items, LOG OFF," read Nathan. Nathan clicked on "Deposit Pokemon." Out came a tube from the side of the PC. "To deposit Pokemon, you must place the Pokeball of the Pokemon you want to deposit," read Nathan. Nathan grabbed Penelope and Chu's Pokeball and dropped them in the tube. Then Nathan clicked on "DONE," under the dialog.

The tube made suction sound and return to the side of the PC. Then Nathan sees a Pidgey and Pichu sprite on a grid, with a forest background. Nathan clicked on the Pidgey sprite and information of Penelope popped out form the side, like her name, age, gender, moves, etc., and then he clicked on the Pichu sprite and got information on Chu. He dragged the sprite and shook it all over the screen, finally dropped it at the bottom of the screen. Nathan was still fascinated that these sprites were his Pokemon. He clicked on the arrows next to the title "BOX 1," and a different grid, with a different back ground appeared. It was titled "BOX 2." He kept on click on the right arrow by that time he got to BOX 70, and then it returned to "BOX 1" with the Pidgey and Pichu sprite. Nathan clicked on the "BACK" button and returned to the prevoius screen, then clciked on "LOG OFF." He clicked on "Prof. Oak's PC" and it started to load. Finally a dialog appeared. "You have caught a total of 6 Pokemon. Try looking in the wild grass some more," read Nathan. Nathan returned to the main screen and clicked on "LOG OFF." then the PC turned black. Nathan exited the PC and made his way to the entrance of the forest.

He began to train with Shich again, this time praticing his Growl, then his Scratch, and finally Shich's speed. Then Shich glowed in a white light and stars popped out. Shich had leveled up. Nathan continued on training Shich, this making Leafy use Vine Whip on Shich, and Shich had to last throwed it. That was made to train Shich's defense. Then Shich praticed on his accuracy. Leafy would shoot seeds from his back into the air, and Shich he to use Ember on everyone of them, before they hit the ground. Shich missed multiple times, but eventually got better. Then Shich glowed in a white light and popped with stars. He had leveled up once more.

Shich showed off his new move, Peck. Shich's beak glow in white and then he jabbed the grass, cutting it in half. After showing his Peck, Shich began to glow white. "What's happening Shich?" asked Nathan. The white form began to get taller, the feather on its head grew larger, it grew arms with claws growing out of them, and its legs got larger. Finally, the white light faded away, revealing the Pokemon. Shich had evolved. "Combusken!" cried out Shich. "Shich you finally evovled!" said Nathan hugging Shich. "Ivysaur," said Leafy in congratulations.

Shich then showed his new move. Shich spotted a nearby boulder and ran towards it. Then Shich raised his legs his kicked the rock twice. The first kick resulting in cracks, and finally the second kick broke the rock in half. Shcih had learned Double Kick. "Hey, Double Kick's a fighting type move! That would be perfect in the rock gym! said Nathan. After this we'll train on your Double Kick, but now we'll be heading back to town. The three arrived at the Pokemon Center. Nathan got everyone healed, and then they entered the Pokemart to do some shopping.
