Rocky liked the idea of setting traps and finding ways to distort the shadow Pokemon from a distance. Strategy and tactics sounded like the training days back at football camp. "I'm up for finding some way to take them down at a distance. I am sure we can think our way through any obstacles that come our way." With a grin he added, "Time to get creative now."

"I will just have to explain gently to Fury that he isn't going to get to hit anything. He is itching for a good fight."

The set up to big event please read!

2 PM

The team stood around on Route SE1 which was the main path for trainers going in and out of One City. Meghan anxiety had gone up at the mention of shadow pokemon and Dredd. She was in no rush to face Dredd but her concern for people living on One Island was stronger. Thanks to some support from Rocky the team would give her plan a chance though the group was divided on the issue.

It would an hour and half before they final saw the city in the distance. As if some sick twist of fate the storm cloud that Rose had been sensing was now over the city. As they walked into One City there was a strange eree feeling in the air. It was decided right away they would head to the pokemon center first. However that got cut short when the team heard the calls for help. Though they wanted to run they knew they couldnt just turn there backs to look for the pokemon center. Instead Paul was sent on his own to find the pokemon center. Rose's team led by Kyo broke off on there own to find the museum. Stacy hugged Ty.

" Please please look over him." She said worried about her brother.

"Promise me.." She said looking at Kyo.

Kyo nodded.
" I will do everything in my power to get these two safely two that stone." She said pausing a moment to look back at Meghan.

Meghan walked over and hugged Rose.
"You are the strongest one of us all. We will be safe and keeping Dredd off your back."

Ty smiled
"I think you all are going to great." he smiled

Ty turned to Brandon ( @brandon_g )
"Save some of that butt kicking for me!" he smiled running to follow Rose and Kyo.

Meghan looked at the others.
" We protect but do not engage. " Meghan pulled out two items.

Meghan handed them the Evolites she had bought.

They moved there way through the city helping the residence get clear of the shadow pokemon attacking. As they reached the center of the city the noticed the man they had once known as Max. The dark ninja stood there with an elderly man floating in front of him.

*Its about time* He said speaking inside there thoughts.

Then with a quick flick of his wrist the man fell to the ground lifeless. He let out a whistle and shadow pokemon flooded from all over climbing buildings, breaking through whatever they had to. As Meghan planned they dropped back using there pokemon to clear a path away from Dredd. if they were going to battle Dredd it wasnt going to be on his ground.

While this happend Kyo lead the team through the city keeping her smaller team out of sight. When the museum was in sight the team made there way in. Sitting in the center was a locked case. While Kyo shut down the buildings electricity Rose and Ty broke through the case. Ty began to reach for the Stone but was stopped as Rose who could see the basic outline ran and jumped knocking in out of his hands...

Rose gripped onto the Stone and she let out a scream

Description: One Island is the center of attention for the Sevii Islands. One Island is the most populated. While the Island still has its forested area. Some would say it much more commercialized then the others taking away from some of its natural beauty.

As Meghan and the others moved into position she handed out the evolite to help Alice and Rocky. Once in position they could now see Dredd just outside of the museum.

"Stay back!" Meghan cautioned.

"First wave lets go!" She called out smiling at Rocky who was already in position with long range attack. As the first blast hit Meghan called to Alice.
"Wait for them...wait." She said letting the attack draw them in a little.

"Now!" She said letting out the second attack

Dredds attention turned away from the One Island Police which had been trapped in there cars.

* You....Dare to get in my way...* he screamed in anger

The team could feel the team ground around them shaking

* I grow stronger* He said with a smile

As he spoke Alice, Rocky, Meghan and Stacy felt light headed. For a moment even dizzy. Inside there thoughts they grew angry with there teammates. This only lasted a moment as Dredd suddenly stopped.

It must be the others... Meghan said to herself

"We need to give him everything right now!" She said trying to shake off the haze.

As the team let out everything to get his attention Rose's team was in position.

Meanwhile

Kyo took the lead with Rose and Ty following right behind. As they reached the back of the building. Shadow pokemon came right after them. Ty called out Pikachu and let out thunderbolt to scare them off.
"See I can battle with the others." He smiled

" Unless they know that and really Im here to protect you to." He said goofly in his charming way. Ty walked into the dark museum last looking around.

" So this whole place is for rocks...." He said taking out his flash light.

Kyo looked around
" Guys lets find this gem and get this over with."

Rose could feel it as she got closer and closer. When Rose sensed the gem was in front of her she began to call out to the others but paused. She felt something strange in herself. A sudden greed and anger she never felt. With her pokemons help she went right for it. Ty also noticed the gem.

"There is it!" he said running over towards it. Kyo as if it hit by wave all that once could see everything play out. Rose grabbing the stone, the future going to crap all at once.

*Sorry but this is as close as i could get you.* A voice whispered in her thoughts.

Kyo knew she had only one chance. As the two trainers moved closer from different sides she could only stop one of them. She knew she had to stop Rose but what about Ty? Maybe it wouldnt have any effect. Kyo paused calling to the two to get them to stop. But the ground shaking outside from the battling caused a loud explosion that echoed throughout One City. The explosion knocked everybody back and shattered glass all over the museum.

Kyo got up quickly with the loud ringing in her ear and noticed Rose now running towards in. Kyo jumped at the trainer taking her down hard. As the two hit the ground. Kyo and Rose looked up as light streamed in from the broken sun roof of the museum.
Ty dusted himself off trying to shake off the loud noise in his ears. He slowly pushed himself and noticed the gem was now in front of him. He smiled looking at Pikachu.
" Its right there!" He said

" All I have to do is destroy that and everyone will treat me like a tough trainer." he said looking at Pikachu.

" Stacy will be so proud of me! She will definitely have to admit im the top trainer in the house." he said taking a few steps closer.

Kyo rushed to get up to stop as he reached

" For my friends" He said reaching out and grabbing it.

Ty picked up the stone and screamed as the gem power let out a beam of energy. The beam shot all around and Kyo and Rose were knocked back. The beams burned Rose and Kyo as they hit them. Tys whole body shook as the Gem plussed over and over.

On the Outside Stacy felt something in her chest hurt.
"Ty.." She said running through the battle

Dredd also knew something was up and focused in pyschic energy at the front of the build. When the front collapsed a wall of smoke rolled out covering the area. When it cleared beams of energy were shooting out all over the place. Meghan, Alice, Brandon and Rocky rushed towards the museum. They stopped when they noticed Ty in the center of the shaking. Dredd looked at the boy

"Give me the Gem!" He hisssed

Stacy ran towards her brother over the rubble.

As Dredd Approached the others watched in horror. Ty's skin started to glow. His eyes filled with water.
"You dont get to win every time!" Ty screamed lifting up the gem.

" You will not hurt my sister or my friends anymore." He shouted out in pain

Ty paused for a moment and looked to Stacy.
" I am so sorry.... I love you." Ty said letting out a final tear and then smashing the gem with the help of Pikachu.

"Ty !!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Stacy screamed running through the mess towards her brother.

Everyone else ran as fast as they could but stopped when everything froze for a moment as if time stood still. As the gem was crushed a bright purple light came out. The explosion would surely kill them all...

As the energy wave ripped through destroying everything in its path the team thought they were dead. They each moved closer to each other for this final moment. Then like that it was over. In the final seconds everyone saw something. As Ty had smashed the gem something appeared above the wreckage. The pokemon floated down over the boy. Then Mew looked at the others and before the explosion could get to them this pokemon focused.

As if no time at all had past all the trainers awake in the middle of a grass field. Stacy is the first up

"Ty!! NOOOO!" she screams out sitting up.
" No no no no no.." she said confused getting up and searching for her brother.

As Dredd got closer and closer and eventually reached one island, he subdued the One City Police rather quickly. Brandon and the rest of the team were in position to keep him distracted and hopefully slow him down for Rose's team, who were already making there way to the gem. As the team prepared to attack, Brandon withdrew all pokemon, except Skipper and Marshtomp, since they are the two main pokemon in his team that could do special, ability based moves that did not involve any pyshical contact, which was the plan to prevent their pokemon getting sick and infected. When Meghan gave the word, Brandon instructed Skipper to use Fire Rage and Marshtomp to use Water Gun on Dredd to keep, but to be extremelly careful to make sure they didn't get hit or make pyshical contact with Dredd. Both pokemon nodded and got to it. Skipper let out an angry roar and shot flame out of his mouth in the direction of Dredd, being very careful as not hit any police by accident. Marshtomp started shooting streaks of water at Dredd. All of the team that stayed to fight pokemon, all working together in their power, strength and fury of team rocket and Dredd, seemed to temporarily achieve their mission, Dredd's focus turned from the police to them and they managed to keep distracted, the team's pokemon only stopping their special attack moves to evade attacks from Dredd then resuming their assault. Skipper and Marshtomp performed marvelously, constanstly using their moves, but while keeping a very close eye on Dredd and when they saw an attack coming, swiftly evaded without ease. This kept on like this for a few minutes, then all of sudden, Stacy yelled out "TY!" and took off running towards Rose's team should be, making her way between the raging battle, her pokemon following closely behind her. Dredd sensed something as well and instantly began heading in the same direction, totally ignoring the teams pokemon and and not seeming to care about the continuning bombardment of moves being used on him. Skipper and Marshtomp began to follow Dredd as he moved along, but Brandon shouted for them fo stand down and return to his side, which they did immediatelly. Brandon knew that this strange turn of things must have meant Rose's team was in position and preparing to get the gem or have already gotten the gem. Brandon began running in the direction Stacy and Dredd had gone, his pokemon followed, staying close to their trainer and not letting anything near him. As Brandon ran, Skipper flew up and continued to follow his trainer by air, shooting a flame or two at hostile pokemon that came too close to his trainer. Marhstomp continued to run close behind his trainer, occasionally letting out a streak of water to push back a pokemon that came too close to Brandon. Brandon reached the scene about the same time as the rest of the team. The scene horrified him, Ty held the gem in his hand, a eary, un human like glow seemed to be emanating about him. Dredd screamed about handing the Gem over to him immediatelly. Brandon was beginning to get angry, he would not allow Dredd to take over or harm Ty, who was just a child and turn him into a monster, the same way team rocket had done to him. He was to shout up to Dredd to leave him alone and have skipper launch another bombardment of flames at him, but before he could, Ty should about destroying the gem and about how Dredd wasnt going to win this. From what he had heard about the gem, if it was destroyed, the force of the energy being released all at once would be deadly and could kill not only Ty, but them all as well. He knew he had to stop him and get the Gem out of his hand, he immediatelly took off bull charging at Ty, intent on tackling him to get the gem out of his hand if nessecary. Before he could even get half the distance to Ty, he and his pokemon were thrusting it towards the ground, Brandon shouted "NOOO! DON'T DO IT!" , but he knew it was too late, a moment later his whole life flashed before his eyes and he couldn't help but think his life has been too short to end now, it was just too soon. As the memories and events from his life flashed threw his head all at he once, he also tried to do what he could to increase his chances for survival, he skidded to a halt and began to run in the other direction, while doing so, he looked up at Skipper, still flying high in the sky, fear and distress clear in his eyes, Brandon knew that Skipper understood how dire the situation was and was eager to help his trainer, but also knew there wasnt very much he could do, other then maybe dive and take the blast for his trainer, but he was still trying to decide whether intervene or not. Brandon shouted up as he ran "SKIPPER! FLY AS HIGH AS YOU CAN! NOW! SAVE YOURSELF!" as he shouted and saw skipper look down, he motioned up, to make sure he understood to go up. Instead, the pokemon dove down, determined to protect his trainer down to the very last breath and take the majority of the blasts force for Brandon. Brandon's heart sank at the sight of this and willed Skipper to fly up, but was powerless to anything. At the exact moment he finished thinking this, ths gem must have finally reached the ground and shattered, he felt the huge wave of energy come rushing towards him, saw in his last few moments, the blast hit Skipper in mid flight, making him go flying towards the ground, before his pokemon reached the ground however, the remaining blast hit him and knocked him out.

Brandon began to come to at the distant sound of screaming, which grew more and more close until finally, he opened eyes. Bright sunlight blinded him and forced him to blink several times for his eyes to adjust, as they did so, Brandon reconigized the voice he heard scream, it was Stacy. As Brandon's eyes finally fully adjusted, he looked around and noticed Stacy looking around her, panic stricken, calling her brother Ty's name. Sadness came over him, he hoped the boy had somehow survived the blast. He began to make his way over to Stacy, willing to offer his assistance in searching for Ty. It was then, as he started walking that he realized he wasnt where he last remembered, at one Island, in fact he had no idea where he was, other then the fact it seemed to be some sort of tropical island. He rrached Stacy and greeted her "Hey Stacy, are you ok? Are you hurt? Do need help searching for...." Brandon stopped mid sentence as he noticed Skipper lying on the sand, a short distance to left of them. Brandon remembered that Skipper had been in hit in the blast when he dove in to protect Brandon. In the instant that he noticed him, he immedatelly began rushing towards him, tears beginning to stream down his cheeks as he ran. As he reached Skipper, he felt around on his neck for where you would normally feel a pulse, he could feel the heartbeat of Skipper's heart still beating, Brandon almost sighed a relief, he was alive. He sat and began hugging his partner on the neck and thanking him for his bravery and loyality and for doing what he did. As he sat there hugging and talking to the unconcious Skipper, he felt a tap on his shoulder and as he turned around, he saw that it was Marshtomp, his second in command. He jumped up happily and hugged the pokemon tightly, happy and grateful the water type was alright. After re uniting with his trainer, Marshtomp sat down to join Brandon in guarding and protecting Skipper as they both waited for the fire type to wake up. About 10 to 15 minutes later, or atleast Brandon guess how long it was, Skipper's eyes fluttered open and the huge fire type begin to sit up slowly, being a little sore from the blast. When he noticed his trainer and Marshtomp at his side, he stood up quickly, in excitement and happiness at knowing they were alive. Once the beast stood up, Brandon gave the firs type a big hug and said "Thank You Skipper, thank you for your bravery and loyality. Thanks for being willing to sacrifice yourself for me" . Brandon and Marshtomp took a few minutes to enjoy their being re united with their brave partner. After a few minutes, Brandon let Marshtomp have a few minutes with Skipper by himself and in the meantime took the time to assess their current situation and figure out how they managed to survive the blast and also how they ended up on... whatever island they were on. The first thing he did was check to see if he had the rest of his pokemon, he did, they were all still in their pokeballs clipped to his belt, right where they were during the battle. Then Brandon wanted figure out how they survived, he made his way back over to Stacy, who had still not found Ty and said "I hope he is alright, maybe he survived somehow, like the rest of us, we all should have died in that blast, but we didn't how come, what happened? Do know what happened? Or where we are? Sorry to question you at such a difficult time, but I was running when the blast hit and Skipper had dove down to take the hit for me, so I didnt what happened the moment the gem shattered and the blast happened and I just trying to figure out what happened, how we survived and where we are for myself.... Sorry once again about Ty, I will help you look for him in a couple minutes". Brandon was hoping Stacy could tell him what happened in the last couple moments when the gem broke and how they were alive and where they were, if she could, but he also wanted to be sympathetic to her, since he knew she was upset about Ty.

*For purposes of this making sense with the story, let us say Brandon did not see mew's appearce and thus didnt know what happened and make them survive and how they ended on the island. Let us also say the thing with Skipper happened in a matter of moments, but becuase time usually to slow down in a persons mind when they are in mortal danger, that is why it seems it took longer. It is really a matter of moments it took place. I was writing it based on the time slowing down for Brandon in the final moments before the blast, making it seem like awhile, but it is really just a few seconds at most, as he didnt get very far in running away, maybe a few feet or two at most. Just wanted to say that because it may seem like that is alot to happen in such a very very short period of time, but Brandon's mind was doing sixty killion things at once in the final moments and time seemed to slow down in his mind and that is what it is written in that section of the post, it written based on time slowly down in his kind, but rest assured it all took place very very quickly and all in the matter of a few seconds. ;)*

"Ty!! NOOOO!" Rose heard a voice scream as she woke up.

"Amirah?" Rose questioned. She heard a familiar chime, and slowly her surroundings came into focus. "Where..." Suddenly she remembered what had happened. "Ty..." She said, a tear coming to her eye. She knew that destroying the gem would release so much energy, no one in the immediate area could possibly survive. But how did any of them survive? They should have all died in the blast. And where were they? Rose tried to figure everything out in her head, but nothing made sense.

"Kyo... Why did you stop me?" Rose questioned. "If you hadn't stopped me from getting to the gem, this wouldn't have happened!" she cried out. "Ty...Ty would..." She couldn't finish her sentence.

"Ty!! NOOOO!!" Kyo sat up with a start, hand on her chest as she breathed hard. She looked around as the memories came flooding back to her. All of them. She pressed her hands to the sides of her head as a migraine buldged behind one of her eyes. She squinted her left eye closed and scanned the group, mentally counting everyone. She felt a weight lift off her chest, relief flooding her until reality set in. Ty. Suddenly Rose was yelling at her about why Kyo had stopped her. Kyo felt like a box was closing in around in as her breathing began to pick up again.

"No, no! This isn't what I wanted! I mean… it… it was but… I didn't want to lose Ty. I just wanted things to go back to the way they were… when everyone was alive and the world was peaceful… but instead…" Kyo punched the ground, hard. "This is all my fault!" she screamed loudly. Kyo buried her face in her knees and shook her head, whispering apologies repeatedly in a whisper. She couldn't blame Celebi, the Pokemon had done the best it could do. She had no one to blame but herself for this.

When Alice woke up her head was still spinning. What had happened? All she could remember was Ty and a gem... and Dredd!... she sat up suddenly but Dredd was nowhere to be seen.

Stacy was yelling nearby and Kyo was attacking the ground. Alice felt disorientated. She checked her bag to make sure her Pokemon were still there and alright.

Meg seems to be busy so Ill bunny her.

Meghan eyes opened to the sound of screaming. As her eyes adjusted she could only see a blur of green that slowly formed into a grassy field. The cool breeze ran through her hair and if for only a moment there was peace. Then it came flooding back to her.

"Ty !" she gasped

Her fear and saddness washing away all other emotions. As she stood up she could still see the tiny pink pokemon clearly. She could also see the images burnt into her mind of the lifeless boy who had given up his own life for them. There was no confusion as she remembered seeing the pink pokemon connect all but Dredd and Ty before the explosion. Meghans hand trembled as it slowly went over her mouth. As she began to cry.

" he did make it..." She said softly at first.

No one seemed to hear her.

She spoke louder.
"Stacy....Ty... he didnt make it." Meghan said walking towards Stacy.

Stacy was still screaming but stopped for a moment and turned around.
"What!"

Meghan felt it deep in her chest.
" I am so so sorry but Ty...He didnt make it. I saw it before that pink pokemon saved us."

Stacy eyes filled with anger and sadness
" Dont you dare say that! Of course he is alright! He is fine, he is a tough kid." She said now yelling at Megahn

Meghan slowly walked over shaking her head
" No he didnt...I saw him in the last moments. He saved us..maybe even killed Dredd."

Stacy rushed over and shoved her back. She shoved her again.
"Shut up! Shut up!"

Meghan let Stacy hit her finally fighting with her she wrapped her arms around the poor trainer and held on tight. Stacy fell down crying.

" No but ..but he was a good kid. I told my mom and dad that he would be safe with me. I promised them I would not let anything happen to him. I promised him he would have the time of his life. He cant be gone not like this."

Meghan knelt down and just hugged the heart broken trainer.

As the two sat there. Meghan looked her in the eyes.
"We need to find out where we are so we can get back to One Island. We wont just leave him there. I know this is asking a lot of you right now but we have to keep moving for the sake of not only Ty but all those people on One Island."

Stacy didnt say anything for a minute or two but then nodded her head.
"We need to find him..I need to see." She said slowly getting up not looking anyone in the eyes.

Brandon came over to look after Stacy who thanked the trainer.
"Ty always looked to you." she said softly keeping her head down

Meghan followed looking at the team.
"Whatever happened its not our faults. Its Dredd's for forcing us into position..Its whomever thought shipping these inquistor gems all around over Kanto was safe. Its TEAM ROCKET Black for turning Max into that monster." She apologetically

Meghan made her way over to Kyo. She wrapped her arms around the trainer.
" There was no way you could have known what would happen. This isnt your fault" she softly

When the sound of loud bang echoed out from the north the already stressed team was forced to make some choices.

(Little background of the area. Low sweeping grass covers a good deal of the area around them. Palm trees and stones are scattered about. Berry trees can be seen in the distance. There are mountains in the distance on all side. The vally they are in seems to blocked on the east and west forcing the team to walk towards the north and south. )
