Aster helped lift the heavy case. The woman thanked them and then climbed into the cab. Once she was gone, Alice noted a Pokeball left on the ground. "Oh no!" She said to Aster. "She forgot her Pokeball!" The cab was already long gone. Alice picked up the ball and put it into her pocket. She would ask Misty what to do about it.

Alice started to get a little impatient. The boys were still no where to be seen. She would give them another five minutes and then she would head into the gym herself. She scratched Aster behind the ears as they waited.

"Alice was just over..." Rocky turned to look for Alice, but couldn't see her. When he turned back around Brandon was walking off.

"Quick, Behemoth, we have to catch up with Alice and Brandon" Rocky called the Hipopotas back to its ball and tried to follow Brandon, only to find that the other trainer had walked into the crowd out of sight.

"Well, we were all headed for the Gym to see Misty. I'll have to catch up with them there" he said out loud, thinking to himself.

Ignoring the people looking at the large crazy man talking to himself, Rocky headed off to find his way to the Gym.

Brandon walked around for a bit looking for Alice, then decided it was impossible to do, he had even lost Rocky. He turned around and headed to the gym, where the 3 had been heading. He could only hope both trainers would be there waiting. He ran full speed through the crowd, bumping into people left and right. He finally slowed to a walk as he began notice the crowd was thinning. He should almost be at the gym. He kept walking, knowing he would break through the crowd any moment.

Citrus nodded and then took to the sky, enjoying the midday flight and sun on his wings.

Meanwhile, Alice felt the egg in her bag heating up! She lifted it out carefully. Small cracks had started to appear near the top of the shell.

"It's almost time!" Alice said happily to Aster.

Just as Alice spotted her friends, a trainer exited the gym. The boy and his Rattata liked like they had been half drowned.

Alice returned Citrus to his Pokeball. "Thought I'd lost you guys," she said to Brandon and Rocky. "Come on, let's go! Meg and Rose are probably done by now!"

Alice pushed open the doors to the gym and headed inside, looking for Misty.

Rocky arrived at the gym and saw Alice waiting outside. He walked up to the doors just as a young trainer ran out with a rattata by his side. The trainer was soaked and so was his Rattata. Rocky called out Speedy.

"Hello, a fellow rattata fan I see." Rocky said to the young trainer. "Speedy here, used double team to take down Misty's big hitter. What tactics did you use?"

"Thought I'd lost you guys," Alice said. "Come on, let's go! Meg and Rose are probably done by now!"

"Yeah sorry, got distracted by all the performers. Behemoth wanted to dance. Lets go in and see what Misty wants."
