Once Brandon re grouped with everyone and they all approached the bridge again, he saw his opponent. Even at a glance, Brandon was very glad he had healed. This was going to be a tough battle.

The opponent who was about to face Brandon said "The life of a ranger is that of discpline... You don't look very discplined."

Brandon almost chuckled "If you knew all I have been through lately, you would know I am very discplined. My pokemom are as well, but surely you will find this out in the battle. With that, let us begin". Brandon then let out the remainder of his team. He said to them all "Ok my friends, prepare yourselves, this one is going to be a tough but good fight. I know you guys can do it!". Then Skipper and the rest of Brandon's team seemed to scan his opponentf's team. Then Skipper seemed to have formed a plan and beganing pointimg out the positions for each pokemon in the team. They prepared themselves, then it began!

Brandon was really doubting he could make it through the next round if the pokemon were this strong. His team barely made it through this round. They had though, his pokemon had fought hard and well. He was proud of them.

The battle had ended and at the cost of Mosby and Sting. It also had left Sappy and Sammy very tired from battle. She walked over to the trainer.
" Maybe Ill see you again on the road. Good luck."

Meg called back Sappy and Sammy. Her focus turned to Kaze and Rei. She noticed some of the others still battling. Meghan pulled out her backpack open searching through for heal items. She had organized most of her bag into sections. She picked up the moon stone and paused looking at Sammys pokeball.

"its not time."

Alice watched the end of Meg's battle. It was a tough fight and took its toll on her team. Alice approached her.

"Nice work!" She said loudly. "That was a tough round! Rocky didn't make it through, and my team took quite a beating. I hope one of us has enough energy left to fight the champion!"

Then softly, "During the next round, use an attack that will cause a distraction. Smoke screen, something loud, whatever. Rocky is going to make a run for it and try and find Max's base. The way we're going, there's no way we will win this thing. These teams seem designed to foil us..."

"Nice work yourself." she complimented Alice for her battle.

next Alice's tone changed. "During the next round, use an attack that will cause a distraction. Smoke screen, something loud, whatever. Rocky is going to make a run for it and try and find Max's base. The way we're going, there's no way we will win this thing. These teams seem designed to foil us..." She said softly

" Sounds a little risky?" She said. "But if you two feel like this is our best option then it may be worth a try." She paused looked around.

"Though..something tells me the leader of this bridge shouldn't be underestimated."

Rose didn't feel as distressed as she did earlier, but she was still unsure.The rounds seemed to get harder and harder. If the next round was as hard as the last, she might be able to do it, but if it was even harder, she didn't know for sure. She had some potions, but would they be enough to get her through? In any case, there was no way she would be able to be the one to fight the champion. Surely Meghan or someone else would be able to do it though. They had to make it through.

Meg warned Alice that the plan seemed risky and not to underestimate the leaders of the bridge. "I know" Alice said, "That's exactly why we have to try. I don't think any of us is going to be able to beat the champion."

Alice felt uneasy about Meg's reluctance. It seemed likely that some higher power was ready to shoot down their careful plan. But she knew they had to try. She approached Rose next. "Hey," Alice said cheerfully. "You've been doing really well. These guys are so tough! I think next round we should give it our all," she said conspiratorially, "If we're going to go down, lets do it with a bang!" She said, hoping Rose would catch her meaning. She didn't want to repeat the plan openly.

#Gotta do some GMing of @Dragon Master Mike , @brandon_g, @Pokemon Trainer Sarah and @Brettles so we can move this thing forward. Its taking a week longer than I thought it would.

Meghan nodded.
" I didnt like the idea of battling in this tournament in the first place." She frowned
" Its taking up a lot of our time ."

Alice talked with Alice about the plan. Alice was more of the cautious type of trainer but volunteered her Charmeleon to help out. As did Brandon when he found out about the plan. With the plan set the team just needed to wait for the moment to it into motion. They would get there window as the 4th round was about to begin.

Before advancing they were all given a heal item.

Meg looked over at the trainers with a cautious smile.
"We have come this far.." she said looking at the others.

" If we can get out our smokescreens at around the same time we should be able to provide enough cover for Rocky." She said softly talking directly to others.

Rocky used the healing machine to restore his Pokemon. He then looked at each of his fellow trainers to make sure that they were ready. This was a risky move. Not as risky as taking on an army of Rocket grunts or challenging Giovanni had been. But still risky enough to give Rocky that rush of adrenaline he used to get before a big football game.

He moved his way over to the rest of the fans cheering and getting ready for the next battle. He positioned himself at the edge of the crowd where he would have a clear run to the other side of the bridge once the others started the distraction.

He checked the position of the secret base on Alice's poke tech and then started cheering with the rest of the fans, waiting for his moment.

Once Alice had explained her plan to everyone, the fourth round was set to begin. Their next opponents looked really tough. Alice glanced nervously at Rocky. He was fiddling with her Poketech and seemed ready to go.

Alice could tell Aster wasn't going to be able to defeat the Jumpluff. It was too strong. "Now's the time!" she yelled. "Give it your best Stun Spore!"

"Sauuuur!" Aster cried out, releasing plume of thick yellow pollen. The spores spread into the surrounding air.

"Plume!" Alice said hastily. The Archen squawked. "Go with Rocky!" she coughed as the spores came her way.

"Ack?" the Archen said unsurely.

"Go on!" she coughed.

Plume ran across the ground to Rocky who was standing in the crowd nearby. She began to flap her wings, keeping the spores away from him.

Good luck... Alice thought as she struggled to cover her face with the red bandana from her archaeologist's outfit. She hoped the others would follow with their Smokescreens soon.

On the field, Aster collapsed as the Stun Spore took the last of his energy. Alice returned him. She had lost the battle.

"Now my partners and I are going to pull it together just for one more match."

" In the future dont dismiss your opponents. "

Meghan turned to Alice noticing Rocky was gone.
"That was pretty tough." She smiled fixing her hair.
