"Since they hatched are you going to be be bringing the babies to the Daycare Center here (You should say yes.) Dropping them off here is probable the safest thing to do. Im sure they can transfer them wherever you are going." She said dropping down to look at the babies who were playing together in a big circle.

Back inside the Pokemon Center, with Cirtus perched on her head like some kind of strange hat, Alice wandered around looking at the different screens and TVs. She found a quiet corner of the center and released her new Pokemon.

The Igglybuff blinked a few times before bursting into tears. Alice's eyes widened. "Hey, don't be afraid," Alice said, bending over the small pink Pokemon. "I'm your trainer, we'll take good care of you."

"Free free!" Citrus said happily. "Free! Butterfree!"

"B- Buff?" the Iggybuff sobbed.

"Freeee!"

Citrus flew over to the Igglybuff and picked her off the ground. Alice expected her to start bawling again but she laughed happily when Citrus flew her through the air.

"I'm going to call you Poppy," Alice smiled.

She reached for her next Pokeball. A Cleffa appeared. Alice wondered if she would be afraid too, but she looked straight up at Citrus and Poppy and let out a huge grin. "Cleffa! Fa!" she cried. Alice imagined she was asking to go next.

"And you'll be Clover," Alice said.

She watched the three Pokemon play, grateful to Citrus for helping to take care of them. The Butterfree was also getting some training in, by lifting the baby Pokemon. Poppy and Clover seemed to become immediate friends, with the shy and timid Igglybuff being looked after by the more excitable Cleffa.

As Alice sat down a hooded man from outside tapped on the window to draw her attention. The man seemed to not want to draw attention. So he waved at her to join him outside.

As Alice watched her Pokemon play, she heard a strange sound behind her. She turned around. She was sitting right in front of a window, and there seemed to be a shadowy figure outside. He waved at her to come outside. Alice looked around the center. Everyone was busy chatting or resting. She returned all of her Pokemon except Citrus.

"There's someone outside," she said quietly to the butterfly. "I'm going to check it out. I want you to watch me from the roof of the center. If anything goes wrong, I want you to fly back into the center immediately and get Meg, okay?"

"Free!" Citrus nodded. Alice walked out of the center doors and Citrus took off to the roof. As she neared the corner, she began to feel nervous. What if it was Team Rocket come back to cut her throat? Trusting Citrus to get help if needed, she rounded the corner. The hooded figure was waiting. Alice kept one hand on Zero's Pokeball in her pocket, willing to use his Confuse Ray attack if necessary.

After introductions with his new back up team, he decided to try gather intel as much as possibly, he looked around the pokemon center for someone to talk to, he noticed Marcela sitting quietly alone, she seemed sad, he started to walk to her, but before he got far Meghan went up to Marcela and began a conversation with her. He looked around and saw that Rocky was having a conversation with Rose, he notices a woman not in the group, she was sitting quietly in a chair watching the tv. He went up to her, sitting down next to her. He looked up at the tv as well and began saying to the woman "Some crazy stuff happening around here huh? So many criminals today. So glad Team Rocket is on the case. That Champion, can't believe he would do such a thing. What is your thoughts on this Miss?" he said this without taking his eyes off the tv.


*I know know.... I can hear it already 'You got to be quiet already! You'll get us caught' Well thats why Brandon worded it such that he agreed with what the tv was saying, he has different pokemon as well. Now this is a pokemon center, so I assume we are not the only ones there. The woman is just a random person I came up sith for the sake of story and intel gathering. Hope thats not against any rules Max, my character did everything possible to perform this as non 'reckless' as possible. I request politely that I dont get gmed and get this 1 oppurinity to demostrate my character's interest in information and gathering info.*

As she exited the Pokemon Center. She was a little confused. The sun had still been setting while she was inside but not for some reason it was dark. As is if were in the middle of the night. She could also now see her own breath. As she slowly made her way around the pokemon center she noticed the streets were empty. The grassy field behind the pokemon center was empty. Just the cloaked man.

As she got closer he pulled back the cloak to reveal a the face of a man she knew well. Though he looked must different. Max stood there his hair now spiked and eye path covering his rigth out. His face with a couple of old scares that ran deep.

"Max!" Alice gasped when the man lowered his hood. Her eyes widened, not believing what she was seeing. "Is it really you?!" She ran forward toward him. She wanted to hug him, but she caught herself and stopped short, too shy. She was finally close enough to notice the eyepatch. "Are you alright?! What did they do to you?!" she burst out. She looked around for any signs of the Rockets but the clearing was empty. "I knew you'd come back," she said breathlessly, eyes filling with tears. "I'm so glad..."

Something appeared now that she could not make out. The very tall odd creature that appeared to be with him.


She could only make out the outline.

Alice abruptly woke up in the pokemon center. I twas again bright out from the setting sun her pokemon were looking at her oddly.

"Max, wait!" Alice said aloud. She woke up with a start. She was back in the Pokemon Center. Her back was against the window where she had seen Max, and her Pokemon were still playing. Outside it was light, the sun slowly setting... Alice spun around, looking out the window. There was no one there. Could it have really been all a dream? Alice reached a hand to her cheek, which was damp.

Max had looked different in the dream. He was wearing an eyepatch.... And there was a strange Pokemon... And he had warned her! The group had to leave Cerulean by tomorrow night... She had to tell Meg and the others... Alice looked over to where Meg was chatting with Marcela. Everyone looked so exhausted. Alice imagined she must look the same. Maybe that's why she was having such strange dreams... But what if it was real? a little voice in the back of her mind said. If you don't warn the others and something bad happens, you will never forgive yourself... Max knew things she hadn't even dreamt of. He was friends with legendary Pokemon. The idea that he could communicate somehow... it wasn't that farfetched, was it?

Alice made up her mind. Leaving her Pokemon to play, she walked over to Meg and Marcela. Alice smiled at Marcela. "How are you coping?" she asked. "I'm sorry you got mixed up in all of this..."

She then turned to Meg. "Can I talk to you for a second... um, alone..." She smiled apologetically at Marcela. "I think... it's important," she finished.
