"Yeah, lets teach these miscreants that they can't just steal...a piece of amber...? Hang on are we seriously going to tackle a criminal gang over the theft of a rock?" he asked the others as they ran towards Mount Moon. "Don't get me wrong, I owe max so I am in, but tackling actual criminals is much more than I had expected."

Alice laughed as she ran. "Have you ever seen an Aerodactyl?" she called back. "Amber is a pretty rare fossil." Alice was a bit wary of finding Team Rocket also. Max had seemed worried when they saw them in Pewter, and if a trainer like Max was worried, then Alice knew they would be tough opponents. She hoped with a group their size that they would be able to overpower Team Rocket, if it came to that.

Alice smiled as Rocky spoke to his Charmander. Although he could seem a bit pompous at times, he clearly cared about his Pokemon, which obviously admired him right back.

"Nice one!" Alice grinned when the Charmander evolved.

Alice followed Meg onto the road to Mt. Moon. Route 3 was strangely quiet. Rocks and hedges were scattered around, creating a kind of natural maze. Alice was starting to get tired, so she slowed to a walk.

Paprika's ears pricked up as she looked around. It seemed that wild Pokemon were about.

Alice freaked out a bit when she saw the familiar purple ears! A male Nidoran! Her mother was raising a few Nidoran when they lived in Viridian. Alice always had a fondness for the cute little Pokemon, despite her mother's warnings of their poisonous spikes. "Ready Paprika?" she said.

"Chu chu!" Paprika replied.

"Alright, use Quick Attack!"

As Paprika ran in, scattering the Nidoran, one ran toward Alice.

"That one!" Alice pointed, and Paprika changed direction, hitting the Nidoran hard.

"Nini!" the Pokemon grumbled, shaking itself off, before charging at Paprika.

"Thundershock!"

"Piii chuuu!" Paprika cried, releasing a bolt of electricity which stopped the Nidoran in its tracks. It stayed on the spot, paralysed by electricity.

"That's enough," Alice called, and Paprika stopped the attack, panting slightly from exertion.

Alice reached into her bag and retrieved her Moon Ball. She threw it at the tired Nidoran.

A small horned pokemon jumped out the tall grassy

"Niddy!" It growled at Meghan who almost tripped over the little pokemon. Megs defender Kaze jumped out to defend her. Letting out a low growl to warn the pokemon to back off. Meghan tried to back away but the little pokemon seemed to want to battle.

"So be it!" she laughed

It felt good to be out of the city and running through the rocky fields. Fury new size was joined by new speed. Even sprinting Rocky was unable to catch up to the Charmeleon, who seemed to take joy in beating his trainer.

The group of trainers were not overly stealthy as they ran through the fields. There were sounds of Pokemon nearby, and suddenly one jumped out fro behind a rock to challenge Rocky.

Before Rocky even had time to register waht type of Pokemon it was Fury ran in and slammed it into a nearby rock. Fury held the Nidoran to the ground with both hands and started to generate a ball of flame in his mouth.

"Fury. That's enough! Just hold him still while I capture it." Rocky called out to the fierce Charmander.

Fury looked up in annoyance as he was stopped from delivering the knockout blow. Rocky threw a Pokeball at the Nidoran

Brandon followed the the group has they went through the cave the museum... When they stumbled upon the man suddey Skippers eyes lit up and growled... Its tail flickering much brighter for a second... Then he realized it was not an attack and returned to simply lighting the cave Museum with the tinest candle size flame. Once they were told about Team Rocket and the other flying on a pokemon he thought about being dropped off for the battle with the bikers, it was Max! When it was agreed upon that they would look for the stone he out the rest of his pokemon. Then followed the others.

They were walking for a bit, just small talking... Rocky's Charmander evolved into Charmeleon just like his Skipper here.... Brandon's Skipper went over to congratulate fury. As they contiuned to walk a wild Nidoran appeared! Brandon knew he could use another pokemon... that would give him a full team.

Manky did the honors and gave the Nidoran A rather gentle (well considering his strength) kick. Brandon then threw out a pokeball.

As the group continued down Route 2 Nidoran males jumped out and surprised the group. After a quick capture they were back on their way towards the caves.
"Guys taggem and snagem.." Meghan called out picking up the locked pokeball.

After leaving the museum, on a "high speed chase" of some fossil thieves, Nathan meandered away from the others to take out Chu from the PC, and leave back Penelope. After a quick good-bye with Wattson, Nathan ran after the others and saw an wild Pokemon attack. Nathan pulled out his Pokedex and scanned the Pokemon. "Nidoran♂, Posion type," read Nathan. Nathan pulled out Chu's Pokeball and sent her out. "Pichu!" said Chu upon coming out. "Nidoran!" shouted out the Nidoran. Nidoran preformed Leer, which intimidated Chu, causing it to fear the Nidoran. "Chu, use Charm!" commanded Nathan. Pichu began to suck on it's paw and widened its eyes at the Nidoran, as if it about to cry. The Nidoran becomes less tense and angry. The Nidoran uses Peck on Pichu, but holds back since of the Charm. Pichu isn't hurt at all, since Peck is a Flying type move. "Chu use Thunder Shock!" directed nathan. Pichu charges up and shoots out a small bolt of lighting at Nidoran; Chu hurts herself a little in the process. The Nidoran is shocked by the Thunder Shock, and can't move. Nidoran is paralyzed. "This is my chance!" said Nathan, grabbing his Premier Ball from his bag. Nathan threw the Premier Ball at Nidoran, and Nidoran enters the ball.

The ball shakes one time and stars fly out. Nidoran's paralysis helped Nathan catch the Nidoran. "Nathan looks at his Pokedex and sees Nidoran's entry. "Nidoran♂, the Poison Pin Pokemon. The male Nidoran has developed muscles that freely move its ears in any direction. Even the slightest sound does not escape this Pokémon's notice," read Nathan. After that, Pichu leveled up from the battle.

After being stopped from finishing of the Nidoran, Fury spent some time talking with Brandon's Charmeleon Skipper. Fury acted out the battle against the Nidoran and then Pointed at Rocky, giving him a frown as he got to the part where Rocky had stopped him.

Fury was in need of a proper battle. Rocky felt bad for having the Charmander from the first gym battle, although the Rock/ground types would have completely crushed Fury. He knew there was an argument coming up when Fury found out that the second gym was a water gym. Hopefully they would come across someone with some grass types for Fury to unleash upon.

Some of the others also caught a Nidoran.

They kept heading up towards the caves after the thieves. He thought about what Alice had said about amber being used to revive an ancient Pokemon. An Aerodactyl! That would be cool to see.

Alice watched some of the others catch Nidoran. She enjoyed seeing the different personalities of the Pokemon. Rocky's newly evolved Charmeleon was interacting with Brandon's. It made Alice happy to see everyone's Pokemon getting along so well.

She followed Meg toward Mt. Moon, keeping an eye out for any other Pokemon. Paprika and Marionette chattered away as they walked. The two were becoming fast friends.
