Nice! :O What kind of things do you do in a masters in that field? I know how to do a masters in science, which is by research on a novel project but I was never sure how it worked in other fields!
Also to answer Pyr's question from ages ago, I wouldn't mind doing a bit of both teaching and lab work. I like teaching a lot but in most classes, there are only a few people who are actually really interested in learning. xD I'm also supervising a student in the lab right now which is a bit more rewarding because she actually wants to be there and learn things!
I'm still in high school. I follow animal care or something like that. After this I hopefully can go study psychology. But on the other hand, I am totally fed up with school. I really don't know what to do when I graduate.
I'm a junior in high school (getting ready to end the year in a little more than a week)! I'm focusing on science classes in high school, and I'm practically a shoe-in for a university that's roughly 45 minutes away from my home! I'll be majoring in biology (specifically zoology) there. :)

College for Video Game Design! Was planning on doing some more art-y major but literally in my senior year when looking up colleges I learned about VGD and decided to go for it! Been loving it so far C:

I was being shepherded so much towards trying to get on a PhD in my final year of my Master's Degree, but I was just too tired of education and academia at that point. Plus, turns out my degree proved effectively useless at helping me get a job; I am now working in a field completely unrelated to Forensic Science.
Same here, I could go for a PhD also, but eh... it's no use and I'm tired of school and the expenses of it.
I got my MBA in business marketing because I like the idea of organizing promotions, the creativity behind advertising, connecting with customers, and all that jazz... but, my actual job is more about data management, product change orders, and that kind of thing. It's just... meh, but it pays $27 per hour, which is decent and lets me buy lots and lots of... Emolga stuff. XD
I think to really go into game design, you've got to love programming, to the point where if you don't go into game design as a career (there's a high number of aspiring game programmers out there), you could still be a software programmer as a career and maybe program games as a hobby. And if you can't find a job with the big name developers, there's a ton of indie developers out there that probably need the manpower.
If I were to try and learn a programming language, I think I'd go for Javascript.
Well that's not true. Game design is a different aspect of game development to programming. At our 'acedamy' (I feel posh saying that xD), we have game designers, who learn a bit of everything, then there's programmers and the artists. Game design has nothing to do with programming, and vice versa. Rather, they work in unison with one another. I'm terrible at programming, but I can still design a game. I would just have programmers do all the programming. xD But yes, you're right in that it certainly helps. If I had any sense of programming, I'd do much better when we have solo game-making assignments...like our current one.
Ah yeah. We've been learning C# to work with Unity. I know a bit, but barely any. xD Unfortunately C# isn't used with many other programs than Unity...though Unreal uses it, I'm pretty sure.
