Wake up forum!

Over the last couple of months I have been lurking. For personal reasons I was able to really be a full member. I did however notice that activity was slowly dropping. I have been watching over it for a little while now. It seems to me that we have approached a rough patch for our forum. The best way to combat that is that start to work on the areas we have always been strong in. With holiday season approaching we should start work on some new events to get things going. I realize that part of the reason the forum is facing inactivity is the lack of new pokemon game to build off of. So we as a community we need to be creative and think of ways bring our friends back.

What event would you like to see?
What area should we be focusing in?
Why do you feel you've inactive? (If your activity has dropped) ?

I have been taking a break to focus on work and I have to say, it's been really good for me. I'm getting so much more done! I miss you guys though. :(

I got a job and between that and all my responsibilities outside of PXR (I have too many...), I hardly have any time or energy any more :/

Hmm. I'm beginning to wonder about combining PXR with PWN and Slateport. That might help all three forums out.

I feel like this site really started to decline about the time I got here, and the fact that I'm entering my senior year of high schools, looking at colleges, am the president of three clubs and a member of many more, plus a cheerleader, and I'm trying to publish a book just consumes my time.

However, my friend @AWA1997 and I are developing a roleplay that should be posted soon. It'll be a bit more relaxed in the fact that length of post is not an issue and I think it'll be a lot of fun since it involves magic! That might help but I'm unsure as to how much.

Even though I joined PXR last year. I did take a long unannounced break from this site. Now, after getting a 2 year degree from college, tried a course a wanted and finding out its not for me has me with time and no time all at the same time. Looking for a job has its limits.

Now that I'm back on PXR I have noticed it's slowing down around here, but it seems like it's for the same reason the site I helped build with friends is starting to die out as well (it's Naruto based so no merger there would be good from what I've seen). Event wise I dunno what to say. Holidays are coming soon and even if events are held, not everyone may have the chance or time with possible travel or family and stuff. Holiday event and maybe some outside of that would be interesting.

Once a new game is announced activity will probably pick back up (outside of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Not everyone likes the series). When it does release I know I'll be a bit more active in discussions on it.

I could try an come up with something else RP based, but from general thoughts it's probably end up being kinda like the RP from the other site. It would probably better suit a Mystery Dungeon like RP at that.

I have a few older RPs I could host here. I was developing SotS earlier, but... I'm not sure about it given activity levels at the current moment. Might be better to put that on hold and maybe save it to replace the WAR during the summer if possible. By then, it should be finished and fully created.

For now though, just simple, easy to get into, and interesting individual RPs might be the better way to go. Broken Sun is a little more on the complex side and I can see where it might be a little intimidating for newer RPers or for those that haven't done it for a while.

I've been busy with many things. And when my senior year of high school starts, with it will come AP and honors classes. I come by when I can though.

Yeah, school and a summer job are real pains. All the AP homework doesn't help things. I like to relax, but by the time I'm finished, I may have a couple of hours, and I prefer to game with the time I have left. I try to get on and post at least every other day, but I've slipped up before.

Activity overall might be decreasing because we haven't had a new game to talk about. Hopefully that'll change when Z (if it's been confirmed) comes out.
