Alice took a deep breath of fresh air. It was nice to be outside again. The sun was setting in the west and the sky was full of beautiful colours. She took a photo, and then followed Meg and the Bulbasaur towards a small grassy area.

This must be where the Bulbasaur come to sunbake, she thought. It must be a big deal for them to trust us enough to show us this place.

Before she could say anything, she spotted two lighter green objects which stood out against the setting sun. Alice's Pokedex rumbled and she pulled it out. These were Spinarak! She was surprised to find them here. The dex stated they were native to Johto. Alice wondered if these foreign Pokemon sightings could have anything to do with the strange things happening in Kanto, or whether it was just natural migration.

While Alice was thinking, Meg went over and caught one with ease.

Alice looked down at Finn. "Ready for your first battle?"

"Nini!" Finn replied eagerly.

Alice and Finn approached the spider, while Aster chatted to the lead Bulbasaur.

"Use Horn Attack!" Alice instructed.

Finn obeyed, and the spider Pokemon was sent flying back. It began to shoot a sticky web from its tail.

"Dodge and hit it again!" Alice called.

Finn moved to the left, then right. He does at the Spinarak and hit it in the side.

Alice reached for a Pokeball and threw it at the weary spider.

The sound of drilling distracted Rocky. Someone was digging somewhere. That could mean Team Rocket, which could mean Rusty. He was focused on getting his affectionate Aron back.

They came across a confused and scared Hiker, probably caused by that horrible Golbat that had used it's confuse ray on the team when they fell into the pit. Rocky decided to keep his distance until the confusion wore off. Brandon... chose differently.

The hiker panicked and attacked Brandon, who got angry and attacked back.

After the battle had finished and Brandon had given a final quip to the Hiker, Rocky called out, "Are you finished making new friends, Brandon?"

He then spoke to the confused man, while keeping his distance so as not to scare him further. "Hello, Sir. We are Pokemon trainers who are tracking down a team of criminals who have stolen some rare Pokemon goods, and kidnapped some Pokemon. They attacked us with a Zubat who used Confuse Ray to stun us. Try to focus your thoughts. Did they attack you with a Zubat too? Did they come this way?"

Hearing that the man was missing a Pokemon annoyed Rocky. This Team rocket were a bunch of low-class, uncivilised and probably dirt-poor thugs. He was going to have a reckoning with them.

"What king of Pokemon is Scooter?" he asked the Hiker. "I'll find Scooter and deliver it to the next Pokemon Center I find." Teh man handed Rocky some supplies to help him in his search for the missing Pokemon.

The man showed them to the tunnel he thought the criminals had gone into. A flock of annoyed Zubat still darted around attacking anything that moved. Without Rusty to decimate the flock, Rocky decided to thin out the herd by catching one of them.

He called out Fury who was excited for a fight. "I want to catch one of those Zubats, Fury. So incapacitate, but don't hurt it." Fury frowned for a moment, but agreed. He spun around quickly and flicked his tail at one of the Zubat, sending off little embers to scorch it. The Zubat screeched and dived at Fury in a rage, which made Fury smile as the Zubat came in range of his favourite move.

*SMACK* Fury nailed the Zubat with a headbutt, sending it crashing to the ground. Rocky pulled out a Pokeball to capture it.

By the time the battle had finished Brandon had calmed down, Rocky asked Brandon if he were finished making friends, even though deep down he wanted to turn around and give Rocky the evil stare, he controlled himself and didn't Rocky was one of a few trainers in which Brandon wanted and was hoping to make an alliance with, he needed a few in the group, he liked how Rocky handled himself, he liked his pokemon, they were strong and seemed to only be able to get stronger in the future, although Brandon does admit he himself is kind of reckless at times, he was not dumb by a longshot, Rocky was the opposite of that, just what he needed as an ally, it would help himself think before he acted better and also would give him almost a freind until contests... He didnt want to ruin it over such a petty statement that was admittedly warranted. Then very suddenly the hiker seemed to lift out of whatever fog he was in, he apologizes to Brandon who in turn tried to apologize as well, but he had already proceeded in telling Rocky about getting confused rayed by team rocket and their golbat, the hiker also said he had a pokemon stolen from him and requested that the group help him get it back, he gave rocky an item and pointed to a cave. Brandon hurried with the others into the cave, where they stumbled upon angry zubats! "These pests again" Brandon thought annoyed, although he didnt much want a zubat, he decided to catch one.

Once Alice had got the egg the two were finally back on track. Bulbasuar continued to lead the two girls. The faint sound of drilling could not be heard. Bulbasaur picked up the sound the little pokemon became destressed and picked up its pace. Meghan didnt hear it at first but quickly picked up her pace because she could tell something was wrong. Pika and Kaze followed closely. "Alice something is wrong!! I wish I spoke Bulbasaur!" She said moving down the now winding path.

After the Zubats had cleared out the team found that they were right near the sound of the drill and it was very loud. Above the trainers in the far left tunnel they could see the trainers in black again moving around. They werent alone however.

Geodudes were helping them break into something. As they got a little closer they could hear the grunts shouting.
"Moon stone doesnt free itself. We want access to that legendary ice chamber thats hidden somewhere down here and we need to get to it before that damn trainer finds up!" One shouted

"Cassidy and Butch said they got that handled. We just need to focus on finding the entrance. The floor is made out of pure diamonds! A fine layer of ice covers it so no one has ever claimed it. There's billions down there!"

Rocky ducked as he listened to the Grunts shouting. He didn't want to stuff this up like last time. He thought back Football training when they developed plays based on the strengths of the team. being used to having everyone agree with him, he came up with a plan and started giving instructions.

"This looks promising" he said to the other trainers. "Last time I tried to be polite and do this all civilised. We all remember how badly that went. This time I want to go in there and just start punching before they even know we are there." Rocky clenched his fists.

"We need to know how many of team rocket there are. Rose, I don't know exactly how your link with Amirah works, but are you able to do a psychic scan of the area and determine what we are up against. Once we know how many there are, I think that we should let Brandon take the lead. This feels like the perfect situation for Brandon to absolutely let rip on these criminals. Nathan, you have the best trained Pokemon, watch out for any nasty tricks and try to neutralise them."

"As for me! I owe someone a solid punch to the head for kidnapping Rusty."

Rose started to get nervous when she heard the grunts again. When they mentioned the ice chamber, she was upset. She didn't want to let them reach it. What was she supposed to do though?

Rose shook her head. "The best I could do is send Amirah ahead to sense the area and transmit the information back, but the farther she get's from me the less she can send back. I can sense one of them at the very edge of her sensing range. If we move a little closer, I might be able to get some more information. She didn't want to go anywhere near them, but she knew they had to be stopped.

The lead grunt thomas was much more in control of his emotions. His counterpart David was more emotional. As the Geodudes collided with the walls. The rocks began to clear finally a small hole began to open. Into a pathway long buried.

Thomas picked up the walkie talkie.
"Butch...we will be through in the next ten to twenty minutes. Once I give you the signal send in reinforcements." The man said.

The team was now running out of time.
