*Guys this its going to be a little different without a set "leader" so i can only really set up NPC. If you have time to add a little something extra to the post you can give me something to respond to and work off.

As they continued walking they sounds of trainers battling could be heard in the distance. Not far off the path a group of pokemon were gathered around.

"Okay okay calm down. Who here believes the can sense how many tokens are under my cup."

The shiny Drowzee jumped up and down.
"Drow drowzee!" The girl exclaimed

The boys bumped each other raising there hands.

Alice froze when she saw the yellow Pokemon ahead. A wave of stone cold fear moved down her body from head to toe.

Drowzee...

She knew there was a good chance she would see one on this journey. And maybe she could have handled one... But here were five, their creepy noses swaying, claw-like fingers waving. Their voices caused Alice to shudder, triggering memories of childhood nightmares.

Alice felt her heart beating fast. Without a word, she ran up the path, past the man and the Drowzee. She didn't stop until she had rounded the next corner and they were out of sight. Then she bent over, head spinning, trying to regain her breath.

Alice quickly took off running to get away from the pokemon. The drowzee stopped playing their game and turned towards the group passing by. Something had caugth there attention. The group of Drowzee left the guru and standard walking toward Rose.

The five of them walked behind her finally one stepping up.

"DROOOOOOWWWW ...ZEEEEE" it said calmly

The five psychic types had felt Roses energy. As they got closer she found that her powers had been increased too. Her vision and clearity was much better with them close.

The normally calm guru almost fell over his stuff following behind the group.
"Wait wait!"

A man appeared just ahead with a group of Pokemon. He seemed to trying to teach them.

Alice took one look at them and then started running up the path towards them, and then kept running straight ahead util she was out of sight.

"Anyone know what was up with that?" Rocky asked Rose and Brandon.

He started to approach the man but as he came near the Drowzee looked up at Rose and left the old man walking towards the group.

Once she had caught her breath, Alice felt embarrassed by her reaction. A Pokemon trainer shouldn't be afraid of Pokemon, especially something unremarkable like Drowzee... But she still had nightmares sometimes, of waking up and seeing that Drowzee at the foot of her bed. Of looking down and seeing her body glowing a faint purple, the same colour as the Pokemon's eyes. Of the Drowzee waving its arms and chanting as it devoured her dreams...

She shuddered just thinking about it, and forced herself to instead concentrate on her surroundings. A slight breeze rustled nearby trees and Alice thought she could see water in the distance. Overall it was a pleasant summer evening. Alice wandered off the path a bit as she waited for the others. She sent out Aster to enjoy the fresh air. He traipsed through the grass happily, a pleasant scent issuing from the flower on his back. Alice felt calmer immediately.

((I don't blame Alice, Drowzee are the stuff of nightmares.))

Rose heard trainers battling somewhere off in the distance, and almost wished she could join them. Of course, they didn't have any time to waste. They had to get to Lavander town as soon as they could. Just as she thought this, she noticed a group of Pokemon gathered around just off the path to her right. "Okay okay calm down. Who here believes the can sense how many tokens are under my cup." The man said to the group of drowzee. Suddenly Alice took off running down the path. By the time Rose could even react, she was so far away that there was no point in even saying anything.

Rose took a couple of steps closer to the man with the drowzee. She was curious if she would be able to sense through the cup to guess how many tokens were underneath. Normally, she couldn't really sense through items, but she thought that if she focused hard enough, she might be able to figure it out. Suddenly, the drowzee all began to crowd around her. She nervously took a step back. "Amirah?" Rose questioned. The small psychic type let out a chime, as if to confirm what Rose had been thinking. The drowzee were amplifying her sensing. Surely they meant no harm, but why were they so interested in her?

"Rocky? Brandon?" Rose questioned, unsure of what to do.

Gming Rocky and Rose.

Rocky didnt need to take a step towards the man. As the Drowzees started to follow Rose the team found themselves flooded with the odd looking pokemon.

Rose took a step back as they got close a little concerned. The Drowzee didnt seem to be showing any signs of aggression towards the trainer. The man didnt hear Rockys question as he hurried to the Rose and the Drowzee.
" This is.." He paused looking at Rose.
" You must be." The confused man turned away from Rose.

He turned towards the lead Drowzee.
"I still have more to teach you." The man said pleading with them

The Drowzees were hard to gauge . There faces and expressions were normally emotionless. The best way to tell what they were thinking was the subtle look in their eyes.

The man turned to Rose.
" The Drowzee are drawn towards two things psychic energy and trainers who have visions or have been in someone dreams. They say the Drowzee eat dreams but its a literally thing. It means consume like you or I would consume knowledge."

The guru turned around and the leader of the Drowzee started waving its hands.

The mans posture slowly changed and he slowly turned around. He seemed a little odd.
"We the Drowzee would like to join you and your team. We have sensed great powers in you Rose and believe that our powers can help amplify yours. We can help clarify your visions. Please consider it. Your friend over there needs to be okay with this. We mean no harm." The hypnotized guru said.

As the group continued moving down the route, they came upon a group of pokemon crowded around a man. Without seconds of them first spotting it, Alice took off running, Brandon was a little confused but just shrugged it off. The group kept going, until the group of pokemon, who were psychics rushed over to Rose. Brandon's hand automatically went to Skipper's pokeball and without even thinking, Brandon pressed the button and released Skipper. The Charmeleon blinked and looked around, noticing the Drowzee around Rose, Skipper stared at the Drowzee confused, scratching his head and letting out a soft "Charrrmelleeonn???" as he tried to figure out what the pokemon were gathered around Rose for and trying to decide whether he should step in and try and get the Drowzees' to back off or whether to just stand by in case they got aggressive. Before he could decide, the man that the Drowzees' had been gathered around came running after the group and then trying to plead for his pokemon to re join him and to allow him to remain their trainer. Seconds later the leader of the group of Drowzees' made some hand movements and then suddenly the man became like zombie as the Drowzees' used him to speak with the group.

Brandon's thoughts immediatelly flashed back to the special Mr. Mime he had met before the Cerulean incidents that had warned him of the events to come. That Mr. Mime had done something similar to him for a second to prove his special power. Brandon probably knew better then the rest of the group, except Rose, that what they were seeing was very possible and that the Drowzees' they were seeing were very powerful and very Special Drowzees' . Brandon stood there watching as the Drowzees' spoke, hoping the rest of the group would accept the pokemon to come along with them, such powerful pokemon might come in handy. Who knows, maybe if they ran into trouble, they could just hypotonize a guard or solider into letting them go. It was an evilish thought, Brandon knew, but these pokemon were certainly capable of achieving something like that and they really could come in handy. Brandon was going to make sure the Drowzees' could along, even if he had convince each person in the group indivually personally.

6:19 pm near a crowded gym.

Meghan looked at the others one last time as she turned from them. She looked away just in time to cover up a tear that came out. Rushing away from the situation was the only way to stop herself from getting upset and the others seeing it. She made her way back towards the gym pushing through the crowd. When she was finally clear of it she leaned against a building started to cry. She felt dumb for not being able to control this feeling. She felt weak because she had not been able to ask for help. Going have this device was the right idea but she was scared. She really missed her friends and her partners.

Kaze and One quickly tried to cheer there trainer up.
"Char meleon!" Kaze said nuzzling against her leg.

One took the other route and wacked her hard in the leg. Meghan called out in pain giving the bird a dirty look

"Farrrr Fetch" the bird commanded her telling her to suck it up.

She smiled lightly wiping away the tears.
" It could be real dangerous are you sure your up for this?" She asked.

Kaze stopped her foot and One waved around his leak to agree.

Meghan took the time to call out the rest of the team. Finally getting a chance to introduce Gallo to the group. The cautious flying type floated around first. The others started to approach and check him out.
"Gli!!!" He smiled awkwardly.

The big poison type Reini slithered close to him examining him. She kept her eyes on the ground type closely. Gallo nervously avoided the gaze. They also checked out Farfetch'd but found One more difficult to intimidate. With a hard swat to the nose Arbok learned quickly not to get in the bird types face.

With the introductions out of the way. Meghan got down to business.
" Some of you havent been around long enough to know what are mission is. At the beginning of the trip we were working with a trainer named Max. That trainer was arrested for a crime he wasnt really responsible for. In order to clear his name we need to find his Poketch device called UPgrade. We are now heading east to find its last known location."

With that Meghan headed out. After a quick stop at the pokemon center she made some changes to the team.

Partner swap: Gligar for Farfetch'd

Meghan was once again out the door. She needed some of the pokemon that she had trained with in the past like Cleffa and Mankey. Cleffa had been with her in the battling against the Rockets the last time around. She also put One onto the main team knowing he could be of some use. Gligar got swapped in as her traveling partner. The little ground type wasnt quit ready for this yet.

The others were taking a while... Alice felt a bit nervous. What if something had gone wrong? What if they needed her help? She sat on the ground by Aster, forcing herself to calm down.

"How are you doing, little one?" she asked the Ivysaur. It had been a while since she and her starter had shared a moment together. She thought of their first day, when she had carried the little creature in her arms. He was much too big for that now. The thought made Alice kind of sad.

"Saur," Aster crooned, rubbing against Alice's legs affectionately. Alice reached over and pulled him into a hug. She could feel the muscles under his green skin.

"You've gotten strong, haven't you?" she smiled, holding him. "I think maybe soon... you might evolve again."

"Saur! Ivy!" Aster nodded excitedly. He desired nothing more than to be strong enough to protect his trainer.

"Then I'll be the little one," she laughed. "I know I can always count on you," Alice said more seriously, scratching the Pokemon behind the ears. "We'll get through this."
