It’s Monday which means it’s time for Crossroads Comics!
Three years ago, a humble journey of a girl and her totodile began. I started following their tale shortly thereafter and quickly fell in love with the story and art style. For three years I was able to enjoy a heartwarming story of friendship, battles, and evolution that was truly unique. But now, the story has finally come to close. Folded is a comic I would definitely recommend reading. It has an adorably hilarious art style that truly evolves over time. Its plot is an interesting take on the classic Heartgold storyline. But what really sells it is the characters. Despite never speaking, the pokémon are very lovable and it’s hard to not come to adore the main cast of human characters as well. This is truly one of the best comics I have seen recently, and I feel bittersweet about seeing it go. But all good things must come to an end, and I am excitedly waiting to see what the author does next.
