Hellmann's actually tried to sue a vegan mayo company using that same argument!! They dropped the charges eventually though. Technically the definition of mayonnaise is "a thick creamy dressing consisting of egg yolks beaten with oil and vinegar and seasoned", although 'vegan mayo' is a lot easier to pronnounce/understand than 'thick creamy egg-free dressing' xD
