I was thinking I should go with Cloyster but it comes with a weakness to somethings like making it useless against rock types.

Very true, unfortunately. =/ Go for the water type. I might go with Cloyster in the future. Or grimer, since you and I are the only ones who have one.

This battling is almost as confusing as GCEA battling :P Only I would account for that making it so Cloyster would Onix or Rhydon because it would be double weak to water :)

I'm not really sure what you guys are trying to do. xD There are no double weaknesses, so Cloyster will draw with fully evolved Rock or Rock/Ground types. Is that what you were asking? xD

I wasn't asking your rules were clear. I just questioned why double bonuses didn't cancel single type match ups.

I don't know. I made it up on the spot xD I guess I thought it would be simpler. Plus if you think about it, a SE water attack will knock out Rhydon but a SE Rock attack will knock out Cloyster at the same time. But yeah, no real reason for not having double effective :P
