I've got a question and I thought it'd be appropriate to ask it here.

Back on Pe2k - those who were members there would remember this - there was WAR. It was a friendly competition that involved several teams of forum members showcasing their skills in certain fields (roleplaying, fan-fiction, creative writing, URPG, etc.) to gain points. It was wildly successful.

Is WAR done here on PXR as well, and if so, when is WAR season?

We had WAR on PXR twice. Season I during 2014 and Season II during 2015. During 2016, we decided to skip it and instead a PXR Summer Festival thing was hosted as well as an event based on Pokémon Go. The Festival mainly focused on casual events like banner shops, online game playing, artwork stuff, and that kind of thing. Mostly a grab bag of activities individual members hosted.

Right now, there's no plans for WAR during 2017.

Sure! But we might need to have an open poll about it.

Some people really like the WAR, and a few others don't like it. It kind of depends on if people would prefer another WAR competition or if they preferred just having the more causal and less competitive PXR Summer Festival thing.

It's still very early to talk about it, so maybe sometime later it will come up in further discussion.
