Yeah, I'm drawing a blank as far as that goes. Something like Stalkers RPG would need an entire Discord server of its own and even then I think it would be hard to manage everything with its format. With the way Discord is, things just get buried way too fast in a sea of chat and having to resort to references or update stats is just really hard. And that's the thing, Stalkers RPG main character stats was a pretty huge page. Same with the list of all the civilians interviewed and locations searched. Certain things like that would have to be linked to a Google document or something along those lines and that's a lot for a player to have to fumble around with. Forums just make it easy for things to be linked up and cross referenced which helps the players and myself find stuff that happened in the past.
As for Pikachu Survivor Game and Devolution Battle Royale, they just don't work simply because no one has signatures in Discord and avatars can't be changed by the admin. Those games relied heavily on me goofing around with those and without it, it's just not the same. Not to mention DBR's battle system was a broken, hot mess.
Hey, I'm glad you still enjoyed them. No worries about dropping out early, those campaigns got really complex sometimes. My ambition and inspiration got carried away too often. xD
Though there's only a few people left here, if I had four or more interested peeps, I could host a mini version of Stalkers. Like 15 civilians, 3 of them are Stalkers, and it takes place in a creepy, secluded village where you have 5 days to eliminate the three Stalkers. Could totally work!
Three years, dang. Hope things have been well with you, too.
These days have been all art and comics for me. Stuff on DeviantArt and ComicFury for the most part while taking part in Art Fight and stuff like that.
