PXR's Valentine's Event 2018! Pairs Edition!

There will be a total of five challenges. These will remain a surprise until each are posted; one every three days. The rules for the challenge will be listed as it is posted. Ideally, a completed challenge may be posted in this thread, or (if you're uncomfortable with sharing publicly) by sending in a PM. There's no time limit on these, as long as they're finished before the end of the event. Complete all the challenges to get a special token!

Mini Challenge #1
How Very Poetic!

One thing valued around pairs during this time of the year is gifts! Some being in the form of words. Poems, hiakus, you name it! So the first challenge will be simple enough. Write a small poem for your partner. Write it however you want to! It can be mellow, serious, or funny with joke? Example?

So it doesn't have to be serious, it doesn't have to be long. The length of the poem must be at least 5 versus. Not just one phrase like my example (which is seriously just me being funny). This is just a special way of letting your pair know they are super special awesome! Be sure to post it here in this thread. Tagging both your pair AND myself. If you'd rather it not be public. You can PM them the messae, but be sure to send a copy of it to me, Chakramaster as well! Have fun! =D

Mini Challenge #2
A Pair Sketched in Time

This time we're amping things up just a little. Whether you're an artist or not. Draw something related to or make a simple sketch of your pair or a duo with you and your pair together. Though unlike last year. Come up with a theme to it and be sure to mention that theme in when you tag me.
Again if you would prefer to keep this between you and your partner. Be sure to PM them your message and send a copy to me as well so I can verify it here. It will remain anonymous. Don't worry if you are not good at drawing. All skill levels are accepted here and NO ONE will judge you for it either. It could be something funny, serious, glamorous, or dazzling. It doesn't matter! Make it something special you can share with yourselves or even the WORLD!

Unlike the last challenge. This one has an end date. Feb, 11th. Or Feb 10th at 11:59 PM. Here's one of those usual countdowns you may see. I gave everyone until 12am PST (00:00 PST) so everyone has a little extra time.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! :D

Mini Challenge #3
We're Matching!

As any great pair do, make yourselves matching in an admiration to each other! Get yourselves matching avatars and banners. You can either create these yourselves (or one can make you both something). If neither of you are skilled in creating these images yourselves you can find something online and use those instead. They don't have to be exactly the same or "matching." if you're known as a certain Pokemon around the forum you can use that! Wanna stretch it further to make sure it fits? Come up with something unique to make your user titles or add it to your signature to showcase YOU and your pair are matched.

Please be sure to post these in a post here and explain what it is that makes you two matching. This is a "PAIRS" event after all. Show us what makes you two special! :D

Mini Challenge #4
Lost Without My Pair

Each pair is given a Pokemon and its counterpart to locate somewhere within a post! You have one specifically to you, BUT if you happen to run across your pair's you have the chance to help them pass the challenge as well! Search the forum for these sprites found in the bottom of a member's post.
You can either link it here or send me a PM with the link or links to both yours and your pair's. if you have any questions feel free to VM, PM, or ask me here in this thread.

Be sure to read the notes below so you aren't looking in the wrong places!

You're looking for a Pokemon Shuffle icon (like the ones in the header above). The icon will be hidden in threads at the bottom of a person’s post. Icons will not be hidden past the first two pages in a thread. Icons will not be hidden past the first two pages in a section. Icons are not hidden in staff forums, or those not seen by the public.

That's My Pair!

This final event will be a bit more simpler. To finish out this event you will see descriptions I came up with for each participant. It will describe everyone in a certain way. Some may be easier and some may be tougher. You will be looking for your pair's description. If you find your own you can keep it and send it to your pair for submission as well. This way you both will be able to finish the final event.
