Rocky tested the restraints, but realised that the chains were probably to secure even for him.

"Hah, jokes on them. Rusty loved to eat metal, she'll chew through these chains in no time!" He tried to find his Pokeballs, but found them missing.

"NOOOOO!" Rocky redoubled his efforts struggling against the bonds with a renewed vigour! "If you have hurt Rusty I'll ..." he faded off as he struggled with his restraints and tried to think of something nasty enough to whoever had taken his beloved Rusty.
