"I know, I know," Kyo said, "it sounds absolutely crazy. And I don't know about Max. I didn't see him in any of the footage we were shown either." She nodded as Meg came up with a plan. "I'll see what I can do. I'll leave the escape plan to you."

Kyo looked up when she heard the guards returning. "I have to go. But I'll be back. Just hang in there. We'll figure this out." She stood up and quickly left, picking up her pokemon on the way out. She glanced over her shoulder and whispered a quick prayer to the Tao Deities. Now more than ever, they needed the guidance of the guardians of Truth and Ideals. Heading down the halls, Kyo paused, realizing she had a choice. She could go and see Alice and Rose or explore the facilities further. She knew which one Meg wanted her to do, and she wanted to check on them too, but... this facility was one of the most secure in the world. Perhaps she could figure out something if she explored further. Hopefully, Rose and Alice would still be there in due time.

Nodding to herself, Kyo chose to explore the rest of the facilitiy.
