@MuffinLad - I hear you! But oftentimes the space below the avatars is used in events to place images. This doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't use up all the space available, but it's what we keep it empty for. Perhaps in the future we can work out something more permanent. The size of the space is dependent on how much space your signature takes up, too. Because you have a tall signature, the space is going to be huge. But if you scroll up and look at ray_quazaa, he has little to no space beneath his avatar due to having no signature. So yeah, because of these differences, it can be hard to cater for everyone.
