I wasn't trying to imply that they couldn't be made, just that the tone and context seemed a bit much. We are here for people to tell us things and for us to discuss. If we aren't told things then how do we know what people are thinking? XD While we may be in charge, its good to get the feedback and have people letting us know about this and that.
I might do Wi-Fi and Showdown if...people can convince me. It's not like I don't have teams made. I'm just...a sore loser...Ehehehehehe.
I agree that graphic and drawn art should be separated. They are two different forms of art (something with graphics doesn't need to be able to draw while drawn art...it's sort of like breathing. You need to) and putting them together just would be odd.
It's like trying to judge Sonic and Mario. Both are platformers, but both do it in different ways so it's difficult to compare them and judge them fairly.

I would definitely like to see Graphic Art as a contest! @Braixen may agree? :D
I know we have little to no WiFi/Showdown activity, but people want WAR points. They will join in sections they don't normally participate in to get them. Either way, I don't think anything should be ruled out for lack of activity as long as the interest is there. :)
Nothing is being ruled out. We are discussing a method to have people petition for contest to be added into the WAR. When we figure out an outline for that it will get set up. Then people will have the opportunity to post their with suggestions or requests for new contests.

@The-Hydra please join this team
Just a suggestion; If you're a little unsure as to whether or not these suggested sections will garner an adequate amount of activity, maybe set the amount of points that can be rewarded for them lower than the other sections for the first week or two to gauge activity. As it happens, the point values you're awarding per week in each section are a little higher than they have been in the past, so this shouldn't be a big deal. It could be a nice way to test the sections you're unsure about while having a limited impact on the WAR itself.
Also, I can vouch for Sarah on the fact that people will probably participate in these sections even if its not something they would typically participate in. Every year I participated in WAR at PE2K, I would always participate in the Showdown (or the prevailing sim at the time) section, despite the fact that I rarely used it any other time of the year. I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
EDIT: Also, do Judges get a point for their team each week for Judging like they used to? Just curious, as I didn't see anything about it anywhere.

If you want to start a Team, post a thread here.
I may play Wi-fi depending on what rules we go with. I don't have a lot on my actual games. XD
I could do Showdown and get out of my Challenge Cup comfort zone. Showdown is easier to manage than Wi-fi for me.
