"Screw you and your service!"

An angry yell could be heard by quite a distance being located from the beach outside of Pallet, although it was easy to tell where the origin was. A girl pulled herself out of the water and was walking along the beach, mostly drenched and in a temper. As she sweeped the sand off of her body and stood in the sun momentarily to dry, she observed a pair of headphones. Putting them back on to test quality, she could tell they still worked fine, the music device carrying on the previous rhythm it had before the "drop". Sighing in anger, Vi calmed herself thinking of what was to soon come up. She twisted her mechanical arm, seeing that it was in perfect condition, which of course it appeared so. Lazily looking to the time on the MP3 display, she noticed what time it was, and had a small panic attack.

"Oh sheesh, I already missed pretty much everything! Never again am I riding a stupid boat." With this small statement, Vi sprinted off as fast as she could to the lab, hoping her clothes would dry with this run. As she approached the lab, she noticed assistants talking to each other and one carrying a bag on their shoulder. She slowed her pace as she got to the building, the treading of shoes able to catch the assistant's attention. "I'm....here to collect my...Pokemon." She said this between stutters for breath, before pulling out the invitational ticket. Although sopping wet, it was still legible and the real thing.

"Alright then! Take your Pokemon and a starter kit that Professor Oak laid out for you. If you want to meet with the other trainers, they all headed over to Route 1." After the explanation, Vi looked to the location of it, and nodded quickly to herself.

Reaching out to the bag, she grabbed a Pokeball, before pressing the ball and lightly tossing it into the air. Out popped a Charmander, making her smile come to her face.


"Char char!" As an excited sound of call came out from the Charmander, Vi lightly pet it on the head before returning it to the Pokeball. She turned around, picking up the Trainer Kit and putting it in her bag she was already carrying with her.

"Thanks for all the help!" She said to the assistant, before making her way to the group. Quickly heading off from the small puddle she had made in the area, she sprinted towards Route 1, making it in nice time. At least, definitely good enough to see people heading off in different directions. She scratched her head, unsure of where to make her way. After all, she was the one that had to be unlucky enough to miss everything.

"PIDDDDDDGEEEEEEEEGGGGGG" echoed through route one. The loud birds cries caught Virtues attention. Further up the road a battle caught her eye. It didnt look good for the young trainer and his charmander.

Dennis sent in Charmander for the scratch attack. The much quicker Persian dodged the hit. It jumped over charmander knocking it back with tails.


The Perian came quickly knocking Charmander on its back.




Meanwhile

(Max held up the list of missing pokemon showing Zenith and the near by Davis.
"The list is mostly Kanto Native pokemon.. Fifteen Tauros, Six Oddish/Bellsprouts, Two Dodous, A Kangaskhan, Pinsir, and a couple of odd ones that should stick out. Aron, Shuppet, Bagon, Mudkip, Buneary, Absol, Riolu and a Heracross"

" Before we reach route two we should spread out..Hey Ethan you want to help me track down the Tauros. The rest of you pick a pokemon and search for you it..." Max scratched his head..
"Uh..I just realized that we need to captures these pokemon. Im sure the Professor with compensate us. If you spot any of these pokemon capture them. Lets meet back up at the entrance to Viridian City. Which should be like a mile or two up. If anything goes wrong lets just plan to meet up back on the road... It might best if we break up into teams of two or three. I'll go with Ethan and Brandon North West.. Markus, Zenith and Moon you three take the north east part of the route. Meghan, Rose and Rocky take the South East. Davis, Alice and Tyler you take the South West. Stay with your partners..do not corner these pokemon. Work as a team to capture them and stay safe.." Max said.)


Moon walked out with her group..Her partner took a couple steps ahead of you. It wouldnt take long before Moon, Markus and Zenith would find the first escaped pokemon.

What Meghan had said had helped Rose a bit. It was just enough for her to get the pokedex to do what she wanted, although she didn't know if she could replicate it later on. "Rattata..." Rose said, repeating the name the Pokedex had given.

"Rose, Let's do this."

"Ok!" Rose said in response to Meghan. It was about time she tried catching something. "Alright, Ember, the Rattata is in the grass over there. Think you can attack it like you did the Drowzee earlier?" She asked. The Charmander looked up at her and nodded before charging off into the grass. The Rattata was intentionally laying low trying to hide in the grass, but Rose could easily keep track of it due to her sensing. The Charmander did not have such an easy time though. Seeing the danger, the normal type began moving quickly, trying to circle around the fire type without alerting it. "Behind you!" Rose shouted right before the Rattata could attack. Seeing Ember turn to attack, the Rattata quickly backed off to avoid being hit. "Left!" Rose shouted, and this time the Rattata didn't have time to escape. The Charmander swung down it's arm, scratching it in the side.

The normal type darted off too far, and Rose could no longer sense it. Ember ran off after it, and Rose lost track of it too. "Try to lure it closer! Rose shouted. Rose waited a few seconds for them to move back in range, but they didn't. She heard the Charmander let out a cry of pain. Rose didn't sense any other Pokemon other than a few rattata in the grass. She ran into them, trying to find where Ember was. When she got close enough, she sensed Ember on the ground being clawed at by the Rattata. "Here goes nothing!" Rose said, tossing the empty Pokeball at the normal type.

Click. Click. Click...

The Rattata broke free of the Pokeball. "Hit it a few more times!" Rose shouted, and the Charmander obeyed. The normal type made no further attempts to back off, and every time it got close, Rose warned Ember. Once she thought the Rattata was weakened enough, she threw another Pokeball.

Beep! The noise shot out from the Pokeball. Rose ran forward to collect it. "You did good Ember!" She said, bending down and rubbing it's head. "Come on, let's head back to the others."

Rose listened to Max's plan. She was happy that he had put her with Meghan. She had yet to meet Rocky though.

It didn't take very long for Moon and her group to find their first Pokemon. The Doduo was out where the grass appeared a bit lower, making it easy to spot.

Now, attempting to corral the flightless bird before it got weary and tried to run. The brunette had read an article about Dodrio racing on the way here, and though the Doduo's speed couldn't match it's evolution, she would bet they were still fast runners.

Moon tried to think of a plan, keeping her watch on the runaway Pokemon.

The group was getting close to Viridian City. Alice nodded as Max asked them to search for missing Pokemon. She was with Davis, a boy from Hoenn with a Squirtle and Tyler, the boy she had seen sketching the Pidgey earlier. They both seemed to have a lot of experience with Pokemon.

Before she could go and find her group, she felt a strange prickle on the back of her neck. At her feet, Aster looked around suspiciously, too. She spun around, but there was nothing to be seen. She rubbed the back of her neck absentmindedly and then looked around for Davis and Tyler. They were to backtrack to the South West. Alice hoped she wouldn't let down the team when it came down to catching the missing Pokemon.

Tyler realised he'd called out when Davis and Alice were too far from him to actually acknowledge him. He paused, laughing a little nervously, before looking around. While he couldn't see Davis, he could see Alice. She was looking around, a little bit confused, Tyler thought. Nevertheless, he approached her. "Hey, Alice," he grinned. "So, we're to track Southwest, eh? Hopefully we'll find some interesting Pokemon out there, and not just all of the Tauros!" He laughed a little, adjusting his summer-scarf slightly.

Rose, Rocky and Meghan ended up on a team together. Meghan rushed over to Rose to congratulate her on her first capture.
"You were great back there!" Meghan said.

"So we are taking south east section huh..looks like we gotta backtrack a bit but it should be okay." She smiled.
"So Rocky, the man that drove you here..is he like a body guard?" She wondered out loud.


As the group continued all of sudden the ground beneath them started to shake.


It felt like a mini earthquake that could be felt throughout Route 1.


Meanwhile @Pokemon Trainer Sarah @Tyler Phoenix @Comatose

Were not far away on the west of the forest route. They could feel this ground move as well.

The shaking kicked up some dirt and out of the bushes popped a pokemon that didnt belong.


"Shuuu Shuuupit!"

The little purple ghost called out zooming around.

"Hey, Tyler!" Alice smiled, glad to have found one of her group. "To be honest, I'm kinda hoping we'll just find an Oddish or something. Some of those other Pokemon seem tough. An angry mother Kangaskhan is not something you want to come across at the start of your journey!" she laughed nervously. "Though I wouldn't mind meeting some of those non-native Pokemon."

Suddenly the ground began to shake a little. It seemed to be coming from the southeast, where the first group of trainers had headed. She hoped they were alright.

Before she could say anything, Aster started pawing at the ground uncomfortably. Alice felt that strange feeling on the back of her neck again. Aster was frowning, looking behind her.

"What is it?" she asked nervously, a little too scared to turn around. Tyler hadn't seemed to feel anything.

Suddenly a purple blob materialised from the bushes and formed itself into the shape of a Shuppet. Alice had never met a Ghost-type Pokemon before, but she had heard of their mischievous personalities. The Shuppet zoomed around in the air, clearly distressed about the shuddering ground. When it finally calmed down, it hovered in the air at about head-height.

Before Alice could utter a word, Aster leaped up at Shuppet. The Ghost-type vanished and reappeared behind Aster, giggling slightly. It seemed to have gotten over its initial shock at being dislodged from its hiding place.

"Woah! It's one of the missing Pokemon!" Alice cried. "Quick Aster, we have to try and catch it!" Alice knew it was going to be a tough battle. Ghost-types had some amazing abilities.

The Shuppet didn't wait for another attack. "Shuuu!" Its eyes began to glow, causing Aster to shudder. Alice's PokeDex rubmled in her jacket. She pulled it out hurriedly. "Night Shade", flashed the screen.

"Aster! Try and hit it with Vine Whip!"

"Saur!" Aster shook himself after the Night Shade attack. He seemed a little disoriented but otherwise unhurt. As in the battle with Rattata, vines shot from his sides and slapped at Shuppet, who was too slow to dodge.

"Great work!" Just when Alice thought she had gotten the upper hand, Shuppet disappeared again, reappearing behind Aster at lightning speed and hitting with a Shadow Sneak attack. Shuppet zoomed straight through Aster, ending up in the air, still giggling. This time Aster stumbled a little from the impact. "Let's try one more attack! Aster, can you use Razor Leaf?"

"Saur! Bulba!" Aster crouched low to the ground, panting slightly. Dozens of sharp-edged leaves shot from the sides of its bulb and slashed the Shuppet, wiping the grin off its face. The onslaught was too much for the Ghost-type, and before the final leaf had flown, it was already sinking gracefully to the ground.

"Wonderful!" Alice called out to Aster, who smiled proudly. "Now, let's catch it!" Alice threw a PokeBall which hit Shuppet and enveloped it in red light. The ball wobbled slightly and... PING! Shuppet had been caught.

Alice couldn't believe she had managed to catch a powerful Pokemon like Shuppet all by herself. Well, with Aster's help of course. She picked up Shuppet's Pokeball and placed it in her bag with Domino's ball, and then scooped up Aster for a hug.

"The next one's yours!" she smiled at Tyler.

Alice had made a fair point when she'd mentioned Kanghaskan and Tauros. Between them they were a wild threat that really couldn't be messed about with, especially not for low-level trainers. Regardless of his training, an angry mother would kick his butt. Suddenly, Alice froze up and shivered a little. Tyler frowned. While he stared at Alice and Aster, she saw a sudden purple blob apparate.

"Shuppet!" Tyler shouted. He pulled out his Pokedex. It was a Ghost-type, that Tyler knew. It was a cheeky Pokemon but it had a rather bizarre backstory for sure. A Hoenn Pokemon native to Mt Pyre and the surrounding locales, Tyler saw Aster charge into battle. The Bulbasaur seemed primed and ready for a fight, and Tyler watched as the Shuppet and Bulbasaur exchanged attacks before a swift final attack from Aster led to Alice capturing the small Ghost puppet. She had a big grin on her face, even if the battle had been a bit of a sudden and exhilarating one. The whole battle, swift as it was, had given Tyler time to get a very rough sketch of the Shuppet down on paper, alongside a few brief notes.

"The next one's yours!" she said, smiling at Tyler. He smiled back, nodding. "Depends what we stumble across, hey?"
