The Tauros were approaching rapidly approaching and Brettles realised that there was no way to reach the trees for safety. Meg Suggested using Smoke screen to confuse the Tauros.

It was better than nothing, and Fury had already proved that he could produce a serious smokescreen in his battle to capture Speedy.

Rose was concerned as to whether her Pokemon would know how to produce a Smokescreen.

"Maybe if you get your Charmander to copy what Fury here does. Three combined charmander should be able to..." He didn't know how to finish that statement. Three starter Pokemon against a herd of rampaging Tauros might not end well. "Well, it's worth a shot anyway."

"Fury give me another smokescreen like you did before. Show the other Charmander how to do it. In fact make it a competition, lets see who can make the biggest smokescreen to stop those Tauros."

At the mention of a competition Fury excitedly jumped off Rocky's shoulder. The little Charmander looked at the other Charmanders and then slowly swelled out his cheeks and then blew out a column of smoke. The Little Charmander then nodded to his Charmander friends and started to produce a lot of smoke which he directed into the path of the approaching Tauros. Fury blew smoke with all his might desperate to win the smokescreen competition.

"Alright." Rose said. She didn't feel any less nervous about the situation, but she trusted Meghan enough to be convinced that what they were about to do could work. She wasn't sure about Rocky's suggestion about making it a contest though. "Ember... Do you think you can make a smokescreen?" She asked. The Charmander looked up at her, unsure. "Give it a try." She said. By the time Ember started trying to make a smokescreen, Rocky's Charmander had already started. It took Ember a couple of tries to get it right, but he did. Soon the area was blanketed in smoke. "So... now we need to dig the hole?" She asked. The Tauros were getting closer now. She still couldn't sense them clearly, but now that they had gotten closer, their large mass and fast movement allowed her to sense what direction they were coming from. She didn't know how much longer it would be until they were on top of them.

Kaze watched the other to lay down a layer of smoke. Meg nudged her to join in.
"Char ?" Kaze said confused how the others were doing it. Then she took a few steps closer to Ember and Fury and let out a little poof of black smoke. Even at this level the pokemon already were so different. Once the area was covered Meg looked at her partners.

"Okay...no have your pokemon follow Kaze..she loves digging!" Meg said kneeling over.
"Alright guys about twenty feet up there is a empty patch of dirt. Dig out that area about 3 feet..." Meg said looking at Kaze and the other trainers.

Meg said giving Kaze the go ahead a burrow. She took a few steps back looking at the others..

"This may not go well..." She said moving back.


Meanwhile

Buneary bounced off away from Moon and Shelly. Buneary picked up the pace as Shelly continued to follow it. The now annoyed Buneary turned around



A blast of ice out towards Shelly and the trainers.

They had cleared their area succesfully. (Comatose already has his mega) As they were heading back a loud screech caught their attention. As the headed north a new pokemon appeared.

As Vi noticed the practical dots of what may have been people in the nearby area, she heard a lot screech from above her. Looking up, she saw a Pidgeotto going at breakneck speed, from the direction opposite. Using what seemed to be a smart idea in her mind, she ran towards the "people, noticing that it was a kid who was battling. However, it wasn't an exactly fair one; after all, it had only been a Charmander versus a fully grown Persian, most likely looking for food. With some quick thinking, she took out her Pokeball and threw it, letting her Charmander.

"Hey, we're here to help!" She said this to Dennis, before commanding her Pokemon.

"From now on, you'll be Charles, Charmander. Now, let's do some work. Since we can't defeat this Persian in an all out baftle, let's be witty about this. Seeing as how his Charmander is putting on a full blast Ember already, try using Ember beneath the Persian, and ifi t leaps towards you, light the whole area under it on fire with Ember. It might not hurt it much, but it won't like the attack on it's stomach area."

(Comatose has fallen behind because of our crazy pace..lol. So im going to respond for him.)

Ethan, Brandon and Max had taken the other end of the north route. Upon discovering tracks Max lead the two down a winding path.
"Whatever it is..its not very big." Max joked.

He stopped when he finally noticed a foot print.. As he bent down he paused a little confused.
"That looks just like..." Max motioned for Chunk to come over.
"Stand next to that print." Max said.
"Yup...We're tracking another Mudkip." Max said.
Chunks eyes lit up.

"Mudkips are playful...its probable watching us right now. Ill follow this path up a ways..Brandon you take the lower path to the left, Ethan you go right and cover the tree line."

As the teams split up Brandon tookt he lower path. He could hear something moving but didnt know where it was.

Dennis Charmander attacked in vain. The much quicker pokemon quickly lept out of the way and batted the pokemon to the ground. Brandon strategy didnt seem to have much effect. Virtue came along the scene and sent her pokemon in to try something new. Her Charmander moved in carefully starting a small fire that under the cat type. This caught the cat type by surprise which freaked it out sending it running off hissing into the forest.

Before Virture and Dennis could properly introduce each other. Something shiny caught the corner of her eye.

Without warning, the Buneary suddenly jumped. With much skill, the rabbit was able to turn around in the air and properly aim a powerful Ice Beam. The frozen blast flew quickly toward where Shelly and Moon stood.

"Dodge," the brunette shouted, she and Shelly leaping to opposite sides, barely avoiding the attack. A small, spiky glacial formation now rested in the spot they'd occupied moments ago.

There was no time to focus on that, however. Buneary's temperament had shifted completely; instead of being shy and distant, it was close and aggressive. To make matters the more complicated, the normal type seemed to know some pretty unique and powerful moves.

"Attempt Water Gun" Moon called, and Shelly nodded in response. A stream of water erupted from the turtle mouth and was swiftly traveling in the bunny's direction. Oddly, instead of running or leaping right away, it waited until the last possible moment and then jumped high. Completely shocked, Squirtle had no time to react as Buneary descended, using the momentum to deliver a wicked tackle. Shelly was knocked back some, and though the blow hurt, she was not out of this fight quite yet.

"Are you alright?" the brunette asked as the water type rose to its feet. Her answer was a nod, and Shelly turned, now facing the rabbit once more.

Without warning, Buneary shot another blast of ice their way. It was too close, no time to dodge.

Instead of running, Shelly did the only thing she could, firing the strongest surge of water possible. The attacks met, and for a few moments, Shelly was on the losing side, but she was able to keep from being completely overtaken. The dual lasted a while, but toward the end, Moon noticed Buneary was tiring. It's expression grew more contorted, and finally, it could no longer continue.

Without the Ice Beam keeping it in check, the blast of water effortlessly overtook the rabbit, sending it flying against a nearby tree.

This was Moon's chance...

As Tyler and the group started to make their way back, having caught Oddish, Absol and Shuppet all successfully, Tyler noticed another Pokemon nearby. It was a small brown bird, two heads bobbing along. He pulled out his Pokedex to scan it. "Doduo, huh?" He nodded. "Guys, its one of the missing Pokemon! We need to capture it!" Tyler looked at it again, the thing still bobbing its heads but slowly moving away from the trio of trainers. It seemed panicked. "Okay Doduo, don't go running, hey...? We're friends."

Tyler looked over at Alice and Davis, trying to prompt them to agree. "Friends of Doduo's, yeah guys?"

Dennis sees the little Aron.
"Huh? An Aron? Havent seen one of those in a while... I think Aron isn´t supposed to appear here..."

"Hm... i was right... Aron shouldn´t appear here..." Dennis says to himself.

After the successful attempt to scare off the Persian, Vi flashed a smile at Dennis before a glare of light hit her eye. Looking towards where it was, a metallic figure was standing. Not completely sure what Pokemon it had been, she lifted up her Pokedex.

"Aron, the Iron Armor Pokemon."

"Heh, a steel type right away? Let's do this. Charles, you ready?" With this statement, the Charmander shook its head in a yes, before turning to the Aron. The pokemon seemed to have the same though, going into a battle stance. Having a small strategy come to mind, Vi went along with it. "Use Scratch on it and bounce back slightly afterwards. When it charges at you, use a full blast of your Ember." She commanded her pokemon, who went with the plan.

Charging up its claws, it struck at the Aron, a metal clang sounding out. It seemed to hurt Charles more than the Aron, but he still jumped backwards. In pure prediction, the Aron went for a clear Tackle. Reacting quickly, Charles let out a wave of flames on the Aron. However, it was not enough to stop the assault, Aron hitting Charles and causing him to roll back. Not wanting to let his trainer down, he was up quickly ready to let out another against the Aron, who started another charge.

"Continue your Ember, Charles!" Vi called out. Charles continued with the command, letting out as much fire as possible for his small body. Not wanting him hurt anymore though, Vi made a small effort. Calling him back quickly as the Aron was nearly ready to collide, the exhausted Pokemon kept heading forward. Using this advantage, Vi threw one of her empty Pokeballs, the Aron being absorbed in. As the ball shook, it was only to get three out before the capture was shown to be successful. "Phew, good job Charles." She rubbed the Pokeball, and did something fairly unexpected. "Systems, open." When saying this, her mechanical arm (which is her right to mention) opened up, revealing a storage area on the inside. 5 slots were open, the other one hidden more upwards in the arm. She put the pokeball of her Charmander in, followed up with the Aron. "Store them as Charles and, uh, let's go with Cobalt for now." As she said so, the arm closed up and looked completely normal. She turned to Dennis, extending out her hand.

"Since everything seems calm now, nice to meet you. Name's Virtue, but you can call me Vi.
