Alice was glad they had succeeded in catching a number of the missing Pokemon. "Wow, a book. That's awesome," she said. "I'm not a great drawer, so I'm using my camera to capture as much about this region as I can."

Before she could say much more, they heard a loud screech and a Doduo appeared from the bushes.

"Okay Doduo, don't go running, hey...? We're friends. Friends of Doduo's, yeah guys?" Tyler said slowly.

"Definitely, friends," Alice replied carefully. Doduo were known for being nervous and flighty. She didn't want to move too suddenly in fear of scaring it off. They would never catch it then.

"What do you think, guys? Do you want to battle it, or should we try and tame it?" Alice asked. She knew they'd only have one shot at this.

Aster looked up at Alice. Unlike with Oddish, he was nervous of the large flightless bird. He seemed to be developing a dislike for flying types.
