OH hell i realized i just reshaped Kanto!!!!! There is a city inbetween route 5 and 6. Why did no one tell me! lol I think what Im giong to say is the team passed through the underground tunnel but found nothing of interest.

The team was finally reunited and to their surprise had a place to crash. Exploring the building took some time but when they realized there was no danger they found two rooms and set up camp.

(Feel free to add in what you like. But make sure you post ends with the morning)

The next morning at 8 am. A voice from downstairs woke them up.

"Anyone around?" The voice said. The bright sun now beaming in the windows.

7:02 PM the night before

Meghan reached the far edge of the city passing the check point on the way out. She had taken note of the work being done on the check point. She noticed the men who had been working the cpus had gone home for the night. The CPUs were not all unpacked and looked to be ready to be moved into place for the next day. When she got a little ways into Route 6's forest area she stopped to check the map and do a supply check. The Poketech came with a decent map app but Meghan still preferred the medium sized paper one she had bought in Pallet Town.

While preparing for the long leg of her journey she noticed trainers slowly making there way back to the big bright lights of the city to her backside. Vermilion was one of the most wasteful cites she had seen. There power consumption compared to echo friendly power alternatives was not very high. Meghan wondered how much energy was being pumped through the hydro electric plant hidden away in the industrialist district of the city.

When she was finally ready to move again. She called back all the pokemon expect for Gallow. The ground type was not the ideal flying type but it did fit the Bird Trainer look better than Kaze. Meg found herself enjoying a moment of piece walking through the forest. Gligar used this time to sail around on the current that was passing through the treeline. Meghan watched her new friend playing and decided to make a game of it.

"Lets see whose faster, Ill race to the edge of the forest." She said unsure of how far it could actually go.

She then took off on foot running wildly going down the western route. Meghan was faster on foot then the glider was in the clumsily navigating treeline. All the maneuvering was good training for Gligar. Meg knew he was going to need to work on his ability to dodge in tight spaces. He would be vulnerable to water and ice attacks which were very common in battle. She continued to move quickly weaving in and out of trees forcing the young pokemon to continue. At first Gligar found this to be tough. After crashing into a few a few trees he started to work at controlling the angle of his turns.
" Use the trees to help you speed up!" Meghan called up daring him.

Gligar gripped on to one.
"GLIIII GLIGARRR!" the little scorpion called back.

As he swung around he found that using his tail and his claws to help grab or push off the trees helped him move faster. Gallow knew dodging trees properly would still require more practice though. When Meghan got far enough ahead she called out Manky and Winston. She looked to the pokemon and ordered them to move into the trees.
"Whomever catches Gallow can have one of these fine pokeblocks she said." Using her hand to model it.

The two quickly took off and went after the Gligar. The three of them stayed in the trees for awhile.

She figured it would be nice to let the others out so she did. Kaze stretched out layding down close to where she was sitting. One paced around wit this twig. Reine slithered to close to One again and got wacked again. The snake seemed more interested on stalking the bird type. Cleffa however seemed more interested in the.

The happy little pokemon ran over and squealed when Meghan took it out of her bag and placed it safely between her legs. Cleffa nuzzled the egg for a second then tapped on it. "FFAA??" She said placing her ear against the egg. Cleffa waited just a moment then jumped up.
"Cleffa Cleffa" She smiled and started to run around playfully.

Kaze swunger her tail around to make sure the baby was nice and warm. Without realizing that the heat actually helped speed up the hatching process.

At around 8 Meghan decided it was best to get back to work. After calling back all but Kaze and Gallow it was time to move. The dirt path they were following died out a half an hour later. This forced Meg to create her own path which was fine by her. She had always wanted to be one of the frontierswoman. Living out in the middle no where with just her pokemon maybe next to a lake. Though she thought it would be nice to have a rhyhorn right now cause they could easily clear a path. It had slowly been getting darker and darker outside. Meg was surprised to see that it was getting close to 9pm and she had not seen any buildings.

Meghan had her flash light but kept it dim to not attract to much attention. Kaze also kept her tail flame as low as she could. Without warning Kaze picked up the scent of something and began to move in that direction. Meghan had no choice but to follow her Charmeleon who was not know for darting off for no reason. Meghan followed Kaze through the thick brush for what seemed like forever after more than two hour of walking Kaze finally stopped.

Charmeleon then began to dig. Meghan let out the others to help.

11:15 pm ~

The pokemon hit pay dirt and finally started. As they dug deep in the ground they started pulling out old pokeballs. There were pokeballs from different generations mixed in. As they continued it was clear this wasnt just scattered pokeballs they found wooden crates filled with with pokeballs buried seemingly in the middle of no where. Meghan took a couple of the pokeballs out of curiosity and stored them in her bag safely. She also took some photos for evidence later.

She then decided to call back the team this time leaving out Gligar and Arbok. The huge snake could sense something she couldn't possibly sense.

"We need to be careful." Meg said. "Reine ill need you to see if you can pick up any heat trails."

The idea was sound but for a snake pokemon tasting heat trails wasnt like pin pointing an exact spot on a map. Arbok found a trail of foot steps and stealthily followed them. This trail led Arbok and the others to a huge fence just outside the line of trees. Meghan avoided touching the fence but got as close as possible using her flashlight carefully to scan just the area around the fence. Beyond it was a paved road that had tire marks in it. Where was the road leading to and why was it blocked off, she wondered.

Meg dropped back into the treeline for cover. She had no idea who or what might be seeing her right now. She had gone camping before and knew that in a situation like this it might best to find some place safe to hold up. She found a patch of dirt about a quarter mile into the forest and set up a small camp. When she was situated she called back Arbok and grabbed snack from her bag. She laid out the map and compass and started to chart exactly where she should be. When she was done she
packed up her stuff and safely stored. It was now time to do a little exploring. She made her way back to the fence with the very dim flashlight. She followed the fence heading south east until she reached a locked gate.

"Well we had to try right?" She said looking at Gligar who yawned on her shoulder.

She took a short break trying to figure out if there was any opening in the fence but came up short. It was at that moment that she realized she should contact the others. Now that she finally had time she wanted to try and record a message. A light came on from the poketech gear and a red light started blinking.

Meghan held it up confused for a second and then moved it back.

"Oh..' She said with a smile letting out a yawn.

" Hi guys, I wanted to update you. I am attaching a file to this video. At least I hope I am. I have been traveling all night to reach this point." Meg said pointing the camera half to the big fence just behind her.

" The picture is of a huge set of mass graves filled with pokeballs. Whomever burried them out here put them far enough away that no one would ask questions. I was lucky to even find the spot because Kaze picked up somethinges scent. We did not find the source the scent but stumbled across the graves. After a little big of searching we found a trail that led us to the fence. I am now at the gate of this fence trying to make a choice to either call it a night or break the lock.

I checked the map when I got here. If Im correct Upgrade should be right around here. Something is telling me that this fence and those pokeballs are linked to this. If I dont go tonight I am going to head out first thing in the morning." Meghan paused putting her hand over the light. The group can no longer see her but still here her.

"Do you see that.." She said muffled "That light..no keep your head down Gallow..Down down do"

The audio cut off and the message was sent like that.

((Haha, haven't played a Kanto game in like 8 years... Totally forgot about that underground path. We just trust you to lead us!))

Brandon had sent out his Pokemon to secure the area. Probably a good idea, since Alice had no idea if Marius or one of his colleagues could be lurking nearby.

She shivered a little as Rocky told her about the Drowzee. She couldn't help but laugh at his jokes about Death Island. Suddenly the whole thing did seem a lot less serious. Alice relaxed a little. They were all safe and back together.

Somehow they decided to sleep in the ranger building. Alice told the group what Marius had said about it being a place for rangers to come and stay and train for days or even weeks. There building seemed empty now though.

Rose mentioned that they should probably warn Meg. "That's a good idea," Alice replied. "Why don't you send her one, Rose? Marius knew Meg left the group. They must be watching her too." Alice felt worried for Meg. Marius had proven dangerous and Meg was on her own. Would they even know if she was attacked?

Alice headed into the ranger building and was glad to find it empty. She was exhausted and quickly find a clean spot to unroll a sleeping bag. They had spent most nights in Pokemon Centers so far. It was kind of nice to camp out, but Alice would have preferred the safety of the Pokemon center and it's locking doors. She still felt a bit shaky.

She sent out Aster and Plume. The Ivysaur greeted her with a small yawn before curling up next to her. Plume perched on Aster's leaves to nap and Alice cuddled Plume and her Pokemon egg close. The egg was getting quite warm and Alice could even feel slight vibrations every so often. Whatever was inside would be joining them soon. Surrounded by her Pokemon, Alice felt safe enough to close her eyes. She fell asleep immediately.

A beep woke her after what only seemed like a few seconds. It took a while for her to figure out what had woken her. Then she noticed her wrist was glowing. The light burned her eyes but she could see that the little clock in the corner of her Poketech said that it was just after midnight. A little red light flashed, indicating a new message.

Alice sleepily pressed the play button and Meg's voice filled the room. Alice yawned, trying to pay attention, but she was so tired... When Alice heard the word "graves" she woke up a bit. Wherever Meg was, it sounded really creepy. Alice glanced around the room while she listened. Meg's message abruptly cut off, sending a shiver down Alice's spine. What had she seen? Where was that strange fence? And the grave... Alice had never heard of a grave full of Pokeballs. Were the Pokemon inside really dead? Alice knew they were too far away to help Meg, and it seemed she was trying to hide the light from her Poketech when she covered the camera at the end. Alice decided not to send a return message. Any noise or light could give Meg away if she was trying to hide.

Alice yawned again, trying to keep her eyes open. She would try and contact Meg in the morning, she decided, when the light and noise from the Poketech would be less noticeable. Meg was the strongest of all of them, surely she would be fine. Probably it was just a ranger or something, keeping an eye out for anyone up to no good. Alice eventually drifted into an uneasy sleep.

Alice was woken again much later, this time by a voice. Light streamed in the window now and it took Alice a while to remember where she was. The voice seemed to come from downstairs. Her Pokemon were all awake, looking at her, waiting for directions. Alice slipped quietly out of her sleeping bag and placed her egg carefully into her bag. She held a finger to her lips, signalling to her Pokemon to remain quiet. If worst came to worst, Aster could lower them out of the window and safely down the first floor. Well, most of them anyway. She wasn't sure if the Ivysaur could manage Rocky...

"Hello?" Alice responded over-loudly. She wanted to make sure that the others were awake in case something went wrong. The events of yesterday made her more cautious then ever.

((It was kind of hard to get Meg's message and then go straight to morning without talking to the rest of the group. We are supposed to get the message at the time it was sent, right? Anyway feel free to ignore stuff in my post if it interferes with what any of you guys are doing!))

Rocky was more tired than he had realised. As soon as they had found rooms to sleep in he had laid out his state of the art self-inflating microspring mattress and crawled into his sleeping bag. Sleep came quickly.

He was awakened sometime later by the sound of someone talking.

Alice was watching something on her Poketech. Rocky yawned and went back to sleep, thinking nothing of it.

A dream about Surge opening his missing Pokeballs and getting headbutted by both Rusty and Fury, while Speedy stole his Gym leader ID made him wake up with a smile.

Slowly waking, Rocky enjoyed the rays of of morning coming through the window. He heard someone say something from down below, but couldn't work out what it was they said. Hopefully someone making breakfast. Freshly baked scones with pink Apricorn Jam and MooMoo cream, followed by buttered croisants was just what he needed to start the day. He was quite looking forward to the start of the day when suddenly.

"Hello?" Alice yelled. Startling Rocky out of his early morning breakfast imaginings.

"Hey! You mind keeping it down Alice. Some of us are trying to ...." Rocky saw the worry on Alice's face and stopped what he about to say. Rolling out of bed, he grabbed a Pokeball from his pack at random (Oh...lets say its Vulpix!) and stealthily (well he tried at least. Rocky is good at lifting heavy things, but less good at stealth!) walked over to Alice.

"Whats going on?" he asked quietly.

"Hey! You mind keeping it down Alice. Some of us are trying to ...." Rocky said suddenly.

Alice turned to him, wide eyed, and was about to shush him when he must have noticed her expression. He went silent and grabbed a Pokeball. Alice was glad for the backup. What if Marius had lied, and this was his headquarters or something?! He could have led them right into a trap... It seemed like something he would do.

"Whats going on?" Rocky asked quietly.

"There's someone downstairs," Alice replied softly. "I didn't think there was any point trying to hide. I don't think there's an exit on this floor for us to sneak out of. But we should be ready to run, or fight."

Alice listened by the door, waiting to see what the voice would say. She hoped it was just a ranger. Her team was almost wiped out.

Rose was upset by Brandon's yelling. It seemed directed more to Rocky than to her, but she was the one that made the final choice to attack them. If anything, she was more to blame than anyone else. She would continue to think about that for the rest of the night.

"That's a good idea. Why don't you send her one, Rose?" Alice asked her.

"I... I would, but I can't sense the screen." Rose responded, slightly embarrassed. She started to realize how much of an issue this was going to become. She needed to see if there was any way to set up voice commands.

In the middle of the night, Rose was woken by a beeping from her poketech. She couldn't figure out how to make it work, but she heard Alice playing the message in the other room ((Dredd said there were too rooms so I'm assuming if Rocky and Alice both went to the same room Rose went to the other)). She was very concerned about Meghan. Why had the message cut off so suddenly? She was going to get up and ask Alice about it, but she didn't want to disturb them. She tried to get back to sleep and hoped they could talk about it more in the morning, but she struggled to fall asleep again. It would be another two hours before she would finally sleep.

Rose awoke to the sound of Rocky yelling in the other room. Suddenly he stopped, and all she heard was whispering. Rose slowly dragged herself out of bed and stumbled into the other room. "What's going on?" She asked sleepily.

As Brandon's pokemon searched the immediate area around them for any sign of threats, it was established Alice was alright and so was her Aster. It seems shs got him back safely, he was happy about this. If anyone ever took Skipper, or any of his pokemon for that matter, Brandon knew that he would probably go into 'crazy mode' and hunt down who did it and force them to give back his pokemon by any means nessecary. He knew he would do this tor his pokemon just like his pokemon would do for him. After about 10 minutes of searching, Brandon's pokemon regrouped with their trainer, they reported no sign of anyone and that the area appeared to be secured.

A short while later the team made their way into some kind rangers station, the team searched it thoroughly, the building was indeed empty and secure, atleast for the time being. The team found rooms in the station and decided to settle down for the night, Brandon pulled out his sleeping bag and spread it out on the floor. Brandon then looked at his pokemon and asked each one if they wanted to sleep in their pokeball or stay out. They all except for Beedrill (who was the biggest of Brandon's pokemon and took up the most space in the room) wanted to stay out. Brandon took Beedrill's pokeball off his belt and pressed the button, withdrewing him. After this Brandon rummaged through his pack and found a granola bar, he ate it quickly, it being the first thing he had to eat in awhile. He also took a big sip of water from his pack, then he repacked everything back up in his pack. Then Brandon spoke to Skipper and Marshtomp telling them to get a good rest but also keep an eye out for any potential trouble and that if they ran ino trouble, to wake him up or if it was top sudden or urgent to wake him in time, to just do whatever he deemed nessecary to keep Brandon and the rest of his pokemon safe. Skipper nodded silently and passed on the message to Marshtomp, his second in command and then to the rest of Brandon's pokemon. After this most of Brandon's pokemon settled down for the night, Marshtomp and Skipper being the last ones up. Then it seemed as if Skipper and Marshtomp agreed to take turns keeping watch and as usual, Skipper seemed to volunteer to keep the first watch. Marshtomp curled up and went to sleep, leaving only Skipper to keep watch. Soon Brandon crawled into his sleeping bag and prepared to go to sleep, in the room was Rose, he didn't know if she was still awake or not. A minute or two after he had crawled into his sleeping bag, he fell into deep sleep.

At some point during the night, Brandon's senses woke him up. Brandon, still half asleep scanned the room, it was still dark and right in front of where he slept, he could see the outline of Marshtomp keeping watch, the water type's attention seemed focused on an area of the room. Brandon turned his head and looked in that direction. It was Rose, who seemed to be trying to listen to something on her poketch. Brandon yawned and knowing now there was no threat, he rolled over and went back to sleep.

He awoke abruptedly again much later, this time it was morning and sunlight streemed through the window. Brandon could hear movement downstairs, he immediatelly sat up, in front of him Skipper and Marshtomp were already up and were debating whether to wake Brandon or not, after a few moments they noticed he was up and stopped conversing, then Skipper and Marshtomp proceeded to wake up the rest of his pokemon. If it was a threat, they would need all the help they could get. Brandon got out of his sleeping bag and quickly folded it up, placing it hurriedly in his pack. Right as finished doing so, he heard Alice yell "Hello" then heard Rocky say something and then move around. Across the room from him, Rose seemed to abruptedly wake up and run to the other room where Alice and Rocky were. Brandon moved silently to the doorway of the room, he peered out in both directions to see if there was anyone around, he saw no one. Brandon looked back at his pokemon and put his fingers to his lips to signal to be as silent as possible, then he motioned for his pokemon to follow him and quiey slipped out of the door, he made his way stealthily to Alice and Rocky's room, his pokemon following silently, single file. Brandon peered into the room, he saw Alice, Rocky and Rose gathered around, but he saw no threats. He walked into the room and made his way to them, he asked silently "Do we know who is downstairs? If so, are they friend or foe?" behind him his pokemon entered the room and began to gather around him. Skipper looking at the 4 of them (Brandon, Rocky, Rose and Alice) and listened carefully, trying to gather as much information as possible, while Marshtomp and Arbok kept watch of their flank.

Brandon and Rose joined Alice and Rocky. They both had questions, but before Alice could reply, the voice from downstairs said,
"This is a ranger station please come down here and identify yourselves."

This time Alice recognised it as a female voice. She peered over the edge of the stairs and could see the bottom of a ranger's uniform.

"If you don't comply i will be calling for police backup." The girl said.

Alice looked at the others and shrugged. "Oh! Coming!" Alice replied in a more cheerful voice. She quickly scooped up her belongings and returned Aster and Plume. Paprika climbed on to her shoulder.

As she walked down the stairs, she gave a little wave at the female ranger who came into view. "I'm sorry if we freaked you out!" She said in a friendly voice. "My friends and I were just passing through on the way to Lavender Town and needed somewhere to camp for the night. I had no idea this place was in use!"

"Pi! Pika!" Paprika added. Alice scratched her between the ears, where she liked it best, and Paprika let put a satisfied little purr.

Alice smiled at the girl, hoping she would lower her walkie talkie. The group needed to leave as soon as possible if they wanted to make it to Lavender in time.

At first the ranger was very cautious.

" How many of you are there. Tell them all to come down here please. " She said gripping the walkie.

When she noticed the others 3 trainers and the hand full of pokemon included Pikachu. She took a step back relaxed a little.
" You kids need to be more respectful of others stuff. There is a note right there on the door that says if you end to use the place call it in."

There had in fact been a paper but it was to dark to see it the night before.

Alice was relieved when the ranger relaxed. The last thing she needed was more drama. Meg's message from the night before entered her mind.

The ranger reprimanded the group for not following the instructions stuck to the door. " I came here hoping to bump into a friend that stops by here. Did you see a guy around 20?" She asked.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see that note," Alice replied sincerely. "We haven't seen anyone else since we got here after dark last night." Alice didn't know how old Marius was, but she hoped he wasn't the friend she was referring to.
