With PI gone Alice found the papers he dropped. As she skimmed through she noticed that most of them were bets and taking winnings. Some of them listed names that she had seen on tv. Bruno...Sabrina... Lance.. even Max was listed on there. Then she noticed a picture of the some kind of casino. There were spots in the casino circled. None of it made sense. Paints, lamps?

There were also pictures of pokemon battles but it didnt seem like normal battles. There pictures of cages and weak pokemon lay sadly in the cages. There was no way to know where the pictures came from.

However there was no time to waste. As Brandon looked out he window he could see something happening further up. From the position they could kind of see what was going on in the distance.

Meanwhile Rocky stood there and tried something different. His stunt let out a large enough chrage of electric to send poor speedy flying KO'd to the moon. Lucky for the rat type was caught by the running Rocky who fell the ground. The stunt had only caused Kiara to almost fall out of the tree tops. She hung on as the electric moved through the trees.

The unstable ground under the electricity started showing signs of a sink in.

Alice couldn't make much sense of the papers. She skimmed them quickly, then tucked them into her bag. They might come in handy at some point. The Pokemon in cages stuck in her mind. She hoped that wasn't what Aster was heading for. She had to save him.

Rocky's plan didn't have the exact outcome he was hoping for. Speedy got too close to the zapper and ended up getting zapped by a huge electric burst. Fortunately Rocky's Football training meant that catching the Rattata was a piece of cake.

The huge burst of electricity shot out, nearly frying the strange girl up the tree.

"Sorry about that, Miss!" Rocky called out to the girl.

He returned Speedy to his ball.

"What this thing needs is a great big on/off button!" he said in annoyance. "Is there a control panel anywhere?"

"We didn't think this through, did we." Rose thought, slowly starting to panic. She watched Rocky act, but his plan backfired. She tried to think of something fast. They were running out of time. "Maybe... Amirah couldn't lift the cages on her own, but if she went in with a flying type, she may be able to shield them from the electric.." Rose explained. "Amirah, Blitz, Ruby," she said to the three Pokemon, "do you think you could do that?"

"Maybe." Amirah's message came through telepathically. Normally Rose would have waited for the approval of the rest of the group to do anything, and wouldn't have risked Amirah at all, but they were low on time.

"Alright, Blitz, Ruby, go pick up Meghan's Pokemon and carry them back one by one. Amirah, go with them and use protect to shield them from the electric!" The three Pokemon began to fly over the electric field and towards Meghan's Pokemon.

Brandon had to go with Alice, even though he VERY MUCH wanted to go and kick Surge's a**, he had to go ~~because a confused gm forced him to~~ because he couldnt let Alice go alone.

They went into a building and started searching it, Alice went upstairs and the other trainer and himself searched the bottom floor of the building. Brandon and his pokemon searched room after room, after a few minutes, they had cleared the bottom floor and were preparing to wrap up, when suddenly a strange and very strong sensation came over him, he seemed to be being mind controlled again! Brandon immediatelly began to try and fight it off, but it was too strong. Next to him, his pokemon looked around for any sign of a threat, when they finally spotted the hypno and began kicking into action against it, it began controlling them too. Brandon had now been completely overcome by the Hypnos power, but he still kept trying to put up stiff resistance, as he looked at Skipper, he could see the Charmeleon trying to fight off the forces at be as well. Soon they were forced to climb up the stairs and saw a man standing with Alice, she seemed kinda frozen as well. Soon their pokemon was forced inside their pokeballs. One thing led to another and before they knew it, there was 2 bets made, one about whether the group would let Surge go, the second who would win a fight, him or the other trainer here. To Brandon's astonishment, Alice was right and Surge was let go, she won that bet, but then Brandon was made to fight the other trainer with them, the other trainer let off the first punch, then Brandon's anger kicked in and he began punching and kicking the other trainer violently. Soon he realized for sure the other trainer wasnt trying to hurt him and he could also feel the grip on him from the hypno fading, he returned his focus entirely on breaking out of it, a few moments later he accomplished it and looked around for the man in question, he pulled out his pocket knife, ready to use it if he was attacked by the man. The was gone, however and Brandon put the pocket knife away. It appeared Alice's starter Aster had been taken again, though. Alice started talking all depressed and Brandon knew she would go after the man, just like Brandon would if it was his pokemon. He knew he would help Alice recover Aster as well, he was going to speak up and cheer Alice up, when he noticed something out the window, he walked over to it and watched in horror as he saw flashes of electricity bouncing around in the distance. The group must be in trouble! Alice asked if they would help her, Brandon immediatelly replied, as he let out all his pokemon in a hurry "Alice, I would love to, but it seems the group is in big trouble, there seems to be some of activity and electricity bouncing around over by where they were, we need to get there, FAST! Afterwards, I will help you save Aster." As he spoke, he let out his pokemon and pointed out the window towards the electricity so that Alice and the other trainer could see. Once all of Brandon's pokemon were out, he quickly showed what was happening to his pokemon, then told them to follow him. He quickly said to Alice and the other trainer "I am going to help the others, either come and help, or stay here, as soon as the group is safe, I will come back to help you find Aster", when he finished, he quickly turned and ran downstairs and outside as quikcly as he could, once outaide, he ran full speed towards the electricity, next to him and behind him, his pokemon tried to keep up with him.

Brandon raced full speed towards the scene, hoping he wouldnt be too late to save the group from whatever was happening.

As Brandon approached the scene, he saw a Charizard leaving the scene, Brandon thought it must have been Reeese or someone as Surge didnt use fire types and the Charizard didnt look like Meghan's Kaze. When he finally reached the scene, the electiricity had finally stopped bouncing around and the rest of the group was on a crater in the ground. Brandon and his pokemon helped them climb out of the crater, the he was told that it was indeed Reese and that they should go to the house he just left as there was a healing machine and pc in it. Brandon hadent seen this before when he was searching the building, but it night have been on the other trainer's side. He walked back to the huge building with the others and began searching the rest of the first floor for this healing machine and pc. He finally found it and showed the others. As they all healed their pokemon, Brandon tapped his foot inpatiently, he wanted to to upstairs and meet with Alice so they could leave with the others to find this man and get Aster back for Alice. He had to wait for the group to settle for a bit first, they had earned a slight rest. Before long Alice and the other trainer came down with Rocky and explained the situation, Brandon of course already knew the situation better then anyone else in the group besides Alice and the other trainer. Brandon was about to speak up saying they should leave at once to traco down the man who's name appeared to be Pi. Before he could speak up, however, Meghan beat him to it and devised a plan, requiring the group to split up, Meghan, the girl in the rocket suit named Kyo and the other new girl, he thought he recalled her name as Kiara would go along to track down Pi and the rest of them would go after Surge. Brandkn was about to speak up in objection to this (he had made a promise to Alice to help her track the man down and recover Aster and he was a man of his word), when he noticed that Alice was going to go along with it, if Alice was ok with the plan, then Brandon was too.

Soon they all said farewell and each group headed out their seperate ways, very soon Rocky found a jeep which had keys still in it, they all hopped and Rocky started up the jeep and began driving. Soon they stumbled upon an overturned crate, they stopped the jeep and hopped out, as they rummaged through the pokeballs, 2 of them stuck out to Brandon for some odd reason, he reached in and picked them up, releasing the pokemon inside. It was Parasect and Butterfree! His dear missing pokemon. Brandon smiled happily and said to Parasect and Butterfree "Wow.... I am so glad your ok guys and good to have you back, dont worry, it will all be ok now, I will not let that evil surge touch you ever again, I would die first". Skipper, Marshtomp and the rest of the pokemon in Brandon's team came over and greeted their missing team mates, Skipper looked at Parasect and gave him a welcoming and apologetic look, when Brandon had first decided to catch the parasect, Skipper had not been happy and hadent been as friendly and open to the Parasect as he was the rest of Brandon's pokeball. Brandon could tell Skipper was sorry about this now and wanted to make it up. Brandon decided to let Parasect and Butterfree travel outside his pokeball with him as partner pokemon

The reunions had to be cut short though, because the group continued to walk, they found the van Surge and his thugs had been driving, it was flipped over. Leaning against a tree, was Reese, the group went over to talk to him and he explained that Surge had a weapon ready for him, he had to regroup to have a chance. He asked the group to take out his generals and he would take surge directly. Rocky seemed pumped and ready for action, he asked the others "Everyone ready?" to which Brandon replied "Are me and my pokemon ready to kick some surge and his goons bu**s, of course we are, lets do this and show that thief and bully who he is messing with." As he spoke, he motioned to Skipper and Marshtomp to get the rest of his pokemon in their classic defensive formation and ready to attack. Beside him, Parasect and Butterfree, watched silently, just keeping guard for any vicious wild pokemon that may try to attack their trainer.

Brandon and his pokemon were ready for battle and ready to take surge and his goons down once and for all. He waited for the others to get ready and for the signal to begin the attack.

Rocky led the charge and the group began walking towards the building, they tried to stay in a formation, but as Brandon moved the group, a man came out of no where and tackled him, they rolled down the hill that they had walked up on the way to the building, as they rolled Brandon threw punches at the man who had tackled him and eventually managed to get free enough to pull his pocket knife out of his pocket, switched out the blade and was going to use it on the mans arm, but he swatted it out of his hand, the man stopped fighting for a second and said the knife was a rash thing and he might be too dangerous to walk around and that his pokemon would be able to take care of him. Before the man could call out his pokemon though, Brandon's pokemon had reached them and Skipper, Marshtomp, Riolu and Primeape grabbed the man and pulled him away from Brandon, then they leaped in front Brandon to prevent the man from attacking him again, the man called out the rest of his pokemon and Skipper began organizing the team for the battle, Brandon made a quick swap saying "Marshtomp, come here, Parasect your in" , Marshtomp looked at Brandon shocked, he wanted to fight and knew he could do it, but he obeyed his trainer and walked to Brandon's side. Now the team was ready for battle.

Before the attack started, Brandon said to the man "Your right, I am rash when I need to be, you messed with the wrong trainer today, your going down!"

Then Brandon nodded to Skipper and said "You begin the attack whenever your ready buddy"

He said to the man "Uh oh... Looks like rash ol me is stronger then you, pity, where does surge find such weak trainers to work for him? All well, maybe you will have better luck next time... When your battling for your life in prison!"

It sounded evil, but Brandon felt the guy deserved it. Brandon chuckled and walked over to pick up his pocket knife, he withdrew the blade and put it in his pocket, then he turned back to the man and kept giving him a teasing look.

Brandon stood there looking at the man for a few minutes, then he turned and began walking towards the building on the top of the hill to search for the remaining generals. Before he reached the door though, Rocky bumped into him, Brandon chatted with him for a couple minutes, then one of the new guys, Paul, he thinks was is his name, he tried to get to surge at the top of the building, but Surge was distracted by Meghan's much more threatening pokemon, so he sent out his top Raichu to keep Paul busy then focused on Meghan's battle. Brandon and Rocky watched the battle for a few minutes, before they felt the ground start to shake and they began to hear explosions. Brandon's instincts suddenly kicked in and he yelled to his pokemon "INTO THE BRUSH, QUICK!" , then he dove into some nearby bushes and trees at the edge of the woods, his pokemon hurried into the brush beside him.

Seconds later a couple bigger explosions erupted and electricity shot out everywhere, a few more moments later and the building began to collapse, the legendary pokemon Mew came to the scene rescued the generals that had been inside then Meghan's pokemon. When it was all over, surge was gone and the building was no more . In the distance they could hear sirens. Brandon knew they had to get out of there now before they got blamed for this one too. Someone had found whole bunch of batches that surge had left behind and the badges were passed around to everyone in the group. Brandon took his as it handed to him and he clipped it onto his trainer card.

Then Rocky's Charmeleon evolved into Charizard and Brandon applauded him. Then the group hopped into some sort of van and because it was so cramped, Brandon withdrew all his pokemon back into their pokeballs.

They drove while before arriving at the building they were at before and everyone loaded out. Police were waiting at the scene and Brandon prepared himself to get away if they tried to arrest them, but they didnt and when the officers found out they were part of Reese's group they let them right through, Brandon hurriedly walked past the officers and headed towards the building, from inside Meghan and the other new people in the groul she had taken with her came out to greet them. Meghan patted him on the back and Brandon smiled a little and said to Meghan "Good to see you too Meghan, good job at getting Alice's Ivysaur back, wish I could have helped ya, but I did kick some hind quarters back there though so thats good.... If you can excuse me Meghan I am going to go do some training with Skipper" . Brandon first walked into the building and used the healing machine to heal all his pokemon, once done, he walked back outside and then continued walking until he was a safe distance away from the group, released Skipper and pointed to a bidoof that was walking through some bushes a bit away, he explained to Skipper that this was a training exercise and then told him to take out the Bidoof.

Skipper nodded and walked closer to the bushes the bidoof was walking near, once he was close enough for an accurate attack, he made some fire and balanced it carefully in his hand, then he aimed very carefully at the bidoof and threw the flame at the bidoof in a well aimed ember attack. The flames hit the Bidoof, burning it badly and causing it to faint. Brandon began to say well done to skipper, but before he could say a word, skipper began to glow and tranform. Brandon stood and watched happily as his lead pokemon evolved into his final form.

After a few moments, Skipper stopped glowing and when he did, he was no longer a Charmeleon, but a Charizard. Brandon smiled happily seeing how big and strong his pokemon was now in his new form, he patted Skipper on the leg and said "Well done buddy, congrats on your evolution into a Charizard and I hope you enjoy your new awesome muscular body and wings. Skipper rubbed his new dragon like snout gently against his trainer, his way of saying thanks. Then Skipper took to the slies to test out the new wings, he flew high and somewhat fast, letting quiet roars and letting a little smoke out of his mouth, before finally landing gently back by Brandon's side, Brandon patted Skipper gently one more time and then motioned for Skipper to follow him. Brandon worked his way back to the group, as he arrived he heard them talking to Kyo, the new girl in the team rocket uniform. Skipper followed behind his trainer, when he noticed Rocky's Fury had evolved, he walked over to Fury and tapped him gently on the shoulder, then bowing his head in a friendly way, his way of congratulating Fury on evolving. Then Skipper wanted to test out his impressive new form and tried to intimidate Fury in a friendly, playful way, by letting out a snort and blowing a little bit of smoke of his mouth, showing off. Then he took a step back from Fury and held out his arms towards Fury, his way of saying "Now its your turn" , Skipper always tried to be fair when he played anything with a fellow friendly pokemon of someone's in the group and this was his way of being and to let Fury know it was a game and that he wasnt actually threatening him in anyway. He didnt want the Charizard taking his friendly playfuliness resulting in them battling, as with so many people around, the results of this would be tragic. As Brandon listened to others he in the group took, he glanced up and noticed Skipper interacting with Fury. Knowing he was being friendly to Fury, he smiled and then turned his attention back to the conversation by the group.

[strike]As the group began to move Skipper walked back to Brandon and walked beside him, as always, he turned his head to look aorund the area every now in then, on the look out for any threats.

Brandon followed the group as it walked along, walking at the back of the group and being quiet.[/strike]

Soon the group began to head out, except for him and Stacy, who Meghan had asked to stay behind. Brandon watched as the group walked away and hoped that they would succeed in whatever mission they were going on.

The rest of the group met up outside the building, after a little while, the group wanted to start heading back to the pokemon center. The group packed up and then starting walking. Along the way they diverted to look for some of Surge's treasure or something, a few of the people in the group found eggs, after awhile Rose, Alice and couple others went off on there own. A little while later, after poking around the area examining Surge's treasure for a little while longer, they set out and eventually caught up with the 3. By that time, it was getting dark and the group stopped to camp out for the night. The group sent up a camp fire and most of the group sat around exchanging stories and trying to get to know each other, Brandon sat quietly, munching on a granola bar from his pack and watching the fire dance around, he listened to some of the group's stories, which would pretty personal and interesting. Behind him, Skipper managed to sit, almost criss cross apple sauce and was listening to everyone's stories as well. He seemed to be getting used to his new form and was excited to be so strong. Brandon sat down eating for awhile longer, then he prepared to settle in for the night, he took a couple sweaters and blanket from his pack and lay them out a safe distance from the fire, then he sat back down to listen to the others stories until he got tired and would go to bed.
