"Sadly, no, but that would be pretty cool. But that's what my Pokemon are for. They help protect me and others from the constant threats to Kanto. It's what we White Rockets do but…" Kyo looked around again and sighed. "These Red Rs are giving us a bad name. I've already been mistaken more than once for one of them solely because of my uniform. Paul's Jumpluff released some more spores and Speedy zoomed off to chase them. Rocky smiled as he let the excitable Rattata tire himself out chasing the spores.

"Thank you, good sir'," Rocky said to Paul. "My name is Rocky, I am from Sinnoh and am doing a tour of the gyms in this region. I didn't catch your name. If you know the way to the docks it would be most appreciated."

He overheard Kya talking to Ty about being a 'white' Rocket. Rocky was a little confused by Kyo. She wore the 'R' so he didn't trust her, but at the same time she had helped to save the people on the ship. He would keep an eye on her.

Ty looked at the trainer up and down.
" You are not a pokemon thief are you? do you have any waiters costumes in your bag?" He asked keeping his eyes on the bag.

Alice stepped forward making sure to use her words more carefully then Rocky.

" Hi, We are trying to find a trainer named Reese. We were on the S.S Ann and it crashed. Any help you can give would be great." She smiled politely

" Im Stacy and this is Rose and Brandon. We came here to study some of the islands gems as intern for a very amazing man." She continued now using the intership as a cover to the full story.

With the Paul they now had a guide through the island. The path back to the docks cut right through the woods. As they walked the team discovered the forest here was filled with Berries!

The sounds of an unfamiliar pokemon then caught there attention. Paul had heard the this sound many times before. The Ledyba eating and playing was something that filled the air every morning. The team curiosuly stopped to see what it was looking up into the trees.

"Remember Zoomer! Now that was a good pokemon." He said looked up.

Stacy smiled
"Yeah dad's Ledain is really tough!"

Alice felt a bit distant today. The police interview hadn't gone great and the things she had seen on the ship were stuck in her head. She still felt like she needed to speak to Rose about what had happened, but she didn't feel comfortable in front of the newer members of the group. She wasn't sure how much they knew about Rose and her abilities. The Shieldon she had met on the ship had also needed to be returned to the police. She hoped they found its trainer.

The trainer they had just met, Paul, seemed nice. His Jumpluff and Speedy seemed to be fast friends. Alice watched them with a small smile.

As the group walked through the forested area, Alice collected a berry and a small mushroom and placed them into her bag.

A little later, a strange almost humming sound could be heard. It was unfamiliar to Alice, but Paul, Ty and Stacy seemed to recognise it.

Hovering around the nearby area were a small group of Ledyba. They were very cute and Alice liked them immediately. She grabbed Paprika's Pokeball and released the mouse Pokemon.

"Paprika, let's catch a Ledyba," she said, feeling more energetic than she had all morning. It was nice to be in the fresh air with her Pokemon again.

After a quick battle and a few thunderbolts, Alice through a Pokeball at one of the Ledyba.

With Speedy occupied playing with Paul's Jumpluff, Rocky decided taht he was free to bring out another of his Pokemon to train as they walked along the lovely Forrest path. He pulled out the Pokeball for his yet un-named Vulpix and released it.

Vulpix gave a friendly yap and walked beside Rocky. It's previous owner had obviously trained it to heel. Rocky looked up his Pokedex to get details about the little fire type. It should have a range of different abilities, but since they were in a forest Rocky didn't want to try the fire attacks.

"Vulpix, show me one of your non-fire attacks." Rocky instructed.

Rather than attacking Vulpix simply blinked and looked at Rocky with the biggest cutest, Baby-doll eyes that Rocky had ever seen. He was so cute that Rocky wasn't even upset that Vulpix hadn't shown him an attack. he forgot all about training and decided to just enjoy spending time with this adorable little Pokemon.

Speedy came running over with something red smeared all over his mouth. He had something in his paw to give to Rocky.

"Thanks Speedy, what a lovely berry!" Rocky said, and Speedy beamed with pride.

Not to be outdone, Vulpix ran into the bushes dug around for a minute, then came running back with a present for Rocky.

"Thank you too, Vulpix. What wonderfull Pokemon you two are." Rocky walked on happy to have such wonderful helpful Pokemon.

A group of Ledyba flew by. Rocky thought that they looked cool, he needed a good strong bug type, since he hadn't been able to find a Weedle in Viridian forest.

"Vulpix, bring me one of those Ledyba. I think it would go well on our team."

Vulpix ran out to the group of Bug Pokemon and herded one away from the group. The annoyed Ledyba seemed like it was just about to attack, but then Vulpix flashed his beautiful Angel-Doll Eyes at it. The Ledyba stopped to admire the pretty eys and Rocky took the advantage to capture it.

((Sorry, past few days have been a bit crazy on my end))

Rose watched as the others talked to Paul. Even when she was feeling good she wasn't very good at introducing herself to people. Still upset from the day before, now she especially didn't feel like it. Stacy introduced the group, so luckily she didn't have to introduce herself. She hoped she didn't seem rude by not saying anything, but she still remained silent.

Walking through the forest, she sensed movement above her. She quickly realized that Pokemon were the cause. The others seemed to notice the Ladyba at about the same time. Still though, she didn't really want to catch one. She stood a bit off to the side while the others made their captures.

while walking through the woods Paul found a berry, he had seen this type of berry before,
it was a Cheri Berry paul knew that cheri berrys were quite healty for pokemon so he decided to pick it

but just after that he heard a noice, he had heard this noice many times it was a swarm of ledyba.
first he did not want to catch one but then a unusually aggressive ledyba tried to attack jumpluff.
but Paul got jumpluff back in its pokeball before the bug type could hit jumpluff with its tackle attack.
Paul was impressed by ledybas speed and decided to try to catch it. he threw a pokeball and sent out flaaffy to battle ledyba. Paul told flaaffy to use thunder shock and so flaaffy did. Ledyba was knocked to the ground. Paul thougth that this was a good opportunity and threw a pokeball at ledyba.

Ty paused looking up.
"What if I ..." he said pacing around.

"Thunder...if you shot a branch above them..it should bring them all down." Ty smiled

"Give me a thundershock!" he commanded

Thundershock had been too unpredictable and hit a couple of them but not enough for much damage because it had spread out so much. The angry ledyba stopped eating and turned to attack the trainers. Ty fumbled to get Gastly ball out.
"Oh man oh man!" He said

"Get us out of here..ghost! us fly...or dig.. Or make us translucent ? its that the word!"

Ty and Thunder ran behind Gastly who vanished through a tree.
"Awesome let do that!" He said with Ledyba hot on his tail. Pikachu tried to stop when he realized Ty figured just because he was with Gastly he would go through too but nope. The young trainer ran right into the tree.

"Chhuuuu" thunder sighed shaking its head.

Stacy watched the pokemon come down.
"Bug flying...huh."

She grabbed a pokeball off her belt and let it fly

"Sith...lets help out Ty with a Stone Edge!" She commanded sending in the quick water type running through. In time the ledyba had mostly cleared out expect for one.

" Ty..." she said walking over to help her brother up.
"You have to be more careful." She smiled

Ty sighed
" There is still one left. " He said a little dizzy.
"Stand back woman...I got this!" He said taking a step forward.

"Thunder..use thundershock! Gastly use body slam!" He said confidently.

It was lucky for Ty that the thundershock was enough to knock it out. Gastly meanwhile just looked at its trainer confused.

"Gastly?" It said looking at Ty and then Stacy.

Stacy smiled
"Ty you need to learn your pokemons moves. Gastly doesnt learn body slam. We need to have you train him more."

Ty turned towards the battle and took out a pokeball and threw it.
"Yeah I know..hey maybe Brandon could help!" he said pickin up the pokeball and running over to @brandon_g

" You wanna help me trainer my gastly?"

Once the Ledyba were clear the team then continued forward. Stacy made her way over to Paul.
"Can you tell us anything interesting about Gem Isle. Were you born here? have you been here a long time." She smile politely trying to spark up conversations.

The trainer had time to talk now that they were back at it. The path they traveled on wasnt the normal path. It seemed to be a short cut that crossed right through the tropical forest surrounding the island. Pokemon hid watching the trainers pass.

Pokemon scattered the path. One stuck out though at least to Rocky. The small pokemon poked its head out.

"Weedle"

It said looking at the team before vanishing into the tree line.

Perhaps with a little coaxing these pokemon could be lured out.

Meanwhile

Kiara and Meghan had gotten a huge head start. As the two trainer walked through the forest Kiara stopped. Her pokemon letting out warning signal.
"Something is coming. Follow..." She said taking the lead.

Meghan nodded giving Bubbles and Noi a friend shush to keep them silent. Kiara was pretty fast and climbed up a near by tree to look out. She waved over Meghan who didnt really like sneaking around. Meghan poked her head through the bushes and noticed a stocky group of pokemon fighting.

"MA" "KU" "hita!" one said swinging hard and fast knocking its oppenent down.

Bubbles watched the pokemon curiously jumping into the tree with ease. Noi stayed right with him flying up into the trees. Meghan had seen this pokemon before but needed a refresher.
"Oh thats right...my dex." She said looking at her empty wrist.

"I really need to get that thing back already." She said just realizing she left it in Vermillion to get repaired.

"Those are...Ma kuhitas right...from Hoenn..." She said looking up at the Kiara.

Kiara nodded climbing back down.
"No threat to us."

She said begining to walk a different way around. Meghan stopped
"No harm in giving them a little test."

She said grabbing a pokeball and calling out Slash. Meghan smiled lifting up the sword type.

"Honedge you up for a little battle?" She asked

"Nnnnnndddg"" It responsed

Then in typical Meg fasihon she walked out. With a big smile on her face she let the pokemon know she was there first.
"Hi there ! Im Meghan!" She said waving at the pokemon who turned around to check her out.

Meghan was pretty friendly or at least tried to be. This mission seemed hell bent on taking that peacefulness from her.

The pokemon watched her carefully.
" I have come looking to find the strongest Makhutia and challenge him or her to a battle." she smiled

The fighting type pokemon loved a challenge and each of them stepped forward thinking themself to be the strongest. Meghan lifted up Honedge.

"Then I challenge all of you to a battle."

The Makuhita all then started stomping there feet.

" Alright team its time to get some practice do exactly what I say in this order. Noi you are up first, supersonic and then lets build up your speed with agility! Lets add to the confusion with a water pulse, Bubbles. Now Slash lets weaken them with a Metal Sound."
