Paul's Flaaffy started talking to Paprika. The Pikachu grinned and introduced herself too. She shot a little spark at the Flaaffy. Alice wondered if that was a way for electric types to communicate.

"Chu! Pika!" Paprika said, motioning to the bushes. She wanted Flaaffy to follow. Paprika had spotted some Nidoran and wanted to play with them.

Meanwhile, Alice listened attentively as Stacy told her about her Kabutops. "That's an amazing starter Pokemon!" Alice replied. "That's so cool that you got to revive it yourself. Ny Archen was hatched from an egg, so she isn't a first generation fossil Pokemon. But my father studies fossils so I know a bit about them. I'd love to own my own Kabuto one day!" She said, looking at Stacy's Pokemon admiringly.

As Brandon stood there waiting for the group to move out, some pokemon ran into Stacy and then some trainer came running towards them. Brandon put one hand on Skipper's pokeball, ready to call out the fire type if this encounter turned ugly, luckily it didnt and the trainer apologized and then the group got to talking with him. Brandon sighed but removed his hand from Brandon's pokeball, it seemed to him they were never going to move out! Finally though, the group began to move off, following this new trainer Paul. They were walking through a forest route, when they noticed a ton of Ladyba's eating. Brandon admitted they were kind of cute, but wasnt sure if he wanted one or not. He doesnt to ask he decided to ask one of his pokemon what they thought. Brandon pulled Skipper's pokeball off his belt and released the fire type, the fire type looked around, seeing the Ladyba, he looked at his trainer curiously, as if asking "Those aren't why you sent me out is it? Please tell me it is not?!" . Brandon chuckled at the look Skipper was giving him, he said to the Charmeleon "Buddy, the reason I call you out here is ask you whether or not you think we should catch one and add it to our team" . After Brandon finished, Skipper turned back to the Ladyba and anaylzed them, he seemed un impressed and after a minute or two, turned back to Brandon and shook his hand, as if saying "Nope, too weak, no grassish" , Brandon nodded in agreement they were too weak for his team. Although Brandon was sure he could get it stronger, he had bigger fish to fry and bigger goals to accomplish with his current team. Brandon decided not to catch one. Suddenly Ty did something foolish with one of his pokemon which made the Ladyba's angry, they turned tk attack the group. Skipper turned and faced the Ladyba again, this time in defense mode , he growled at the Lady ba and built some flames up in his finger tips, ready to chuck embers at any Ladyba that came too close. Skipper being a fire type, Brandon was more worried about the Ladybas' safety, he knew if need be Skipper could easily take down the Ladybas' with his fire skills. Luckily Stacy came in and took care of the rest of the Lady ba. Once the threat was gone, Skipper put flames on his fingers out and stood by quietly as the group began to talk again. Ty came over and asked Brandon if he could help him train his pokemon better, to which Brandon replied "Sure, why not. I can help you get any pokemon to its full potential, if your pokemon need any help with leadership skills along the way, Skipper here has got you covered, he is lead pokemon of my team, my Marshtomp is the second in command after him and the rest all happily follow their lead as well as mine, together, we are all a great, un breakable, loyal and difficult team and if your the opponent, watch out" . Brandon was honored that Ty would come to him for help . As he talked, Brandon noticed a berry bush and saying to Ty "Excuse me one second, I will be right back" he walked over to examine the berry bush. He unzipped his pack and begin to dig through it until he found what he was looking for, a book that covers all known berries in the Kanto Region, what their uses are and whether or not they edible to people and pokemon or just pokemon . Brandon flipped through the book until he came to Cheriberries, the pictures matched what he saw perfectly. He picked one and put in a small secluded section of his pack, which he had planned to reserve for berries, but of which didnt really have any in it.

Once the berry was placed in his pack, he zipped up the berry pocket and then dug through his pack for a pen, finding one, he wrote a check mark next to it in the book, so that he would know years later when he looked in that book, that he found one of the berries. He planned to do this everytime he found berry if it was at all possible to do. Once he had checked off the berry in his book, he places the book and pen back in his pack and zipped it up, then walked back over to the group. The group was still talking, Ty said something else to him that he didnt quite catch, so he just shrugged his shoulders in response. Then he waited quietly for the group to set out again.

*Getting a bump here.

After slowing down for a little while again the team needed to move forward. The two trainers Rocky met turned down his offer. Saying instead they hoped to run into the group when the were reunited here on Gem Island.

After that Rocky rushed back to the others and it was time to move. The team followed this path all the way back to the docks where they didnt find any sight of Meghan. So they headed back to the police station. Where they find only one desk clerk as the other police seemed to all have cleared out.

When it seemed as if they werent going to have any luck. They noticed a boat pulled up and Reese jumping off. The trainer was pulling in a net with pokeballs. His partners Charizard, Blastiose and Snorlax were helping out. His Vensuar was using its vines to life the nets as he loaded them into truck with the pokemon center on it.

Once again the weedles had evaded Rocky. Back at the docks the trainer Reese was loading a truck with salvaged Pokeballs.

"Hello, Reese!" Rocky called out. "I am one of the trainers you rescued. I wanted to formally thank you for saving me." He then pointed at the Blastoise. "And thank you Blastoise for the ride. Do you know id anyone was found washed up after the wreck? We are missing one of our friends from the ship. I heard that she was at the docks, but I can't find her."

As the approached Reese wiped off his forehead. Pulling out an old faded red hat.
" No problem.." He smiled loaded the last of the pokeballs in to the truck with the help of his full team. His Pikachu sniffed around smiling at the trainers partners.

" Actually.." Reese said

" I saw your friend Megahn not to long ago. She told me to..." He paused

He looked over at his bag and it was moving. Out popped an eevee

" Shift !" Reese said...

"Not the treats again." He said running over to chase the pokemon.

"Sorry give me a second...Shift is a little trouble maker!" He said fumlbing to grab the pokemon before falling into the ground.

The team noticed the Eevee had a unique look about it. It seemed to be bigger then a normal eevee and had a strange collar around its neck.

Reese picked up the little pokemon. As he did the team then noticed a strange chip pierced to its ear.
"Now then. I did see her. She seemed to be in a hurry to get some place. Said she was fine and not to worry about her. I think she may have been going to some place to start trouble. Think she wanted to keep you guys out of it." He said whistleing for the driver to take off. He walked over to his bag with Eevee in his arms and grabbed a bottle of water.

" That one is a little different huh?" He joked innocently

Kyo felt relief enter her system at the news of Meghan. It wasn't much to go by, but it was better than nothing. Kyo mentally waved off the notion that Reese seemed familiar in some way. It wasn't important at the moment or relevant to her current goal. Kyo frowned a little and rubbed her chin at Reese's words. Could she be going after that Dread creature again? Kyo had to fight back the urge to vomit and felt a cold chill race up her spine at the very thought of the creature. Surely Meghan wouldn't be mad enough to try that, right?

"Did you see the direction in which she went?" Kyo asked. "If she's getting into some trouble she might need backup, even if she doesn't want it," Kyo said.

Rocky watched Reese interact with his eevee. It was nice to see a professional trainer having trouble with a troublesome Pokemon. It made him feel better about his own sometimes hard to control Pokemon.

"That Eevee looks more powerful than a usual Eevee. Have you done something special with it?" Rocky asked.

"Did you see the direction in which she went?" Kyo asked. "If she's getting into some trouble she might need backup, even if she doesn't want it,"

Rocky agreed. "Yes, if Meg is getting herself into trouble, then she might need someone to get her out of it."

as the group encountered Reese so did Paul decide to stay in the back of the group so that he wouldn't be noticed do to his shy personality but when he saw the adorable and fluffy eevee

"she headed north I think. It was very odd. After I came back I found out that the police were following up a tip on Lt. Surge. I asked if they needed help but was told that the pokemon recovery. I think Meghan overheard something else." He shrugged

"I have made it my busniess to keep my head down." He said preparing to leave.

" Im not sure what was driving her head up north...as far as I know the only think up there is a hand full of boat docks and cabins. Really there isnt much out there. Thats why I stayed back..she also pretty much said to stay out of it and to not get you guys involved. She is very stubborn and persistent..I kinda of respect that. I use to be like that when I was younger. Plus she got Charizard and Gliscor with her. " He said hoping that was enough.

Before making his exit to get back to the pokeball sweeps.

" Shift here..is an old friend. He is very unique and powerful. Sadly he was experimented on when he pup which gave him some unique powers even for and Eevee. If we come across each other again Ill have to show. For now I should get back to police station to see what the updated counts on the missing pokemon are. "

Reese seemed reluctant to get caught up in whatever was going on. He just pointed out the path before heading back towards the police station. The crew was at least faced with the option. They didnt know how far they were behind nor did they know the proper route to get to the northern docks. However they also had to maybe help Reese if they were so included.

Soon the group finally began to move out again, they started trying to find Meghan, since they had gotten a tip that she was on the island. They searched every common place on the island, but she wasnt there. Soon they reached the docs and saw Reese pulling rescued pokeballs from the water and hauling them ontl a truck. The group stopped to talk and they soon learned Reese had seen Meghan and that she had said something about going north and finding some kind of 'trouble' but that they should come after her or anything. Then he explained that he heard something about a lead to Surge also being the north or something. Reese then told them about a special Eevee he had that he showed them earlier. Then he began to walk away to go continue to search for more pokeballs. Brandon looked to the group and said "We should go try and find Meghan and see if she needs help, I mean I know Meghan can handle her own and that she has some very very strong pokemon with her, but if she is alone and whatever she went to do was challenging then she thought or there were more pokemon then she thought, she may need our help, she saved us on that ship, so I feel like we need to go make sure she doesnt need our help, just in case, because she has our back and we need to have hers. Besides, she might have info about surge or somethibf like that, Surge stole our pokemon, we need to find him and teach him a lesson, we need to teach him that he shouldnt bully others, unless he wishes to bullied himself. As far as navigating this wild junglish area, I reckon if there is a big fight, we will hear it a fair distance away, then we just follow the sound, if we cant hear it or follow the sound, then I will do our best to navigate us through it, I know a little bit about tracking and if she left any sort of path or sign, I can probably get us to follow her route pretty close to what it actually is, give or take a few yards. We need to re unite with, she is one of us and if she needs help, then we must find her and help her, we cant risk her needing our help and we dont try and find her. What do you say guys?"

Brandon wanted to find Meghan and also see if she knew anything about surge and his where abouts, he was confident enough in his tracking skills and outdoorsman skills that he was sure he could find her through whatever paths she took, no one, except for maybe very skilled hunters, which Meghan was not, could traverse through any kind of woods or jungle, without leaving any sort of sign, path or tracks behind. Brandon could track her, even with smallest of signs left behind and since he was pretty sure there were signs left behind, he was even more sure he could track her pretty accuratelly.

He hoped the group would agree to go.
