Brandon took the lead speaking first.
"Hello Madam, thanks for the welcome, it is nice to be here on this beautiful little island. My name is Brandon, these are my friends and my wonderful pokemon. My friends and I have come to your village here, because we need to find a way back to one island and we were told by a trainer that you might be able help us do this."

The woman smiled.
"Well its pleasure to meet you and your friends Brandon. Pardon my nosiness but how did you young people end up on our small island?"

Meghan looked at the state of the group before coming up with a proper response.
" We are pokemon researchers working under Professor Bill's number one assistant, Alice." Meghan said with a slight smile.

" We actually came here to study Mega Evolutions. We were dropped off by a private boat but when it didnt arrive on time we had to trek it across the island here to see if we could find a way back to One Island."

The ladies smile faded
" Oh Im sorry to hear. I wasnt aware of any research trips from One Island coming out here. Every since that awful tragedy on One Island all the shuttles back and forth have pretty much stopped. We are not very connected out here. So I am sorry to say a shuttle off the island make take days or more."

The woman paused
" There might just be one way off this island. You see this island is the home of a very famous pokemon trainer. I believe she is a bit of a big deal on the main land, her name is Lorelei. She has a home near Shiver Caves. I would warn you though. She has a reputation for being a bit cold around others. However if you explain whats happened to you she may consider helping you all out. If you head up this path right here and follow it north to the caves youll find her house. I do hope it works out for you, I hate to see young people struggling so much. "

As she waved goodbye she said one last thing.

"Oh my brothers and I run the day care. We have been blessed with living in a place with some very unique pokemon. If you ever make your way back to our little town please stop by and say hi!"

With that she disappeared with her band of pokemon.

Meghan waved goodbye before turing her attention to the group.
" it looks like we might have caught a break...but something she said is concerning me but we can figure it out later. Lets just find this Lorelei and get off this island."

The team continued forward without stopping until they reached a wooden cottage at the base of the icy cave path. The cold caverns of the cave stood out compared to the warm breezy island.

Meg mentioned that they were working for Bill, and the lady told them they would need to find Lorelei if they wanted help getting to One Island quickly.

Alice stood in front of a wooden cottage. Behind it was a strangely icy cave. Alice couldn't help but shiver. She hated the cold, and it seemed so out of place here. She wondered if it could be artificially cold due to the Pokemon inhabiting it. That made her wonder about how the cave would hold up if it was thawed out again. She was distracted by this for a few moments.

Alice didn't know Lorelei, but the name sounded vaguely familiar. She had spent most of her time studying Pokemon rather than trainers. She grabbed Plume's Pokeball and released her Archen. Plume hopped about on the ground, happy to be free.

"Up," Alice said, holding out an arm, and Plume on, cawing happily.

"I guess I'll do the honours," Alice said to the group. After all, she was supposed to be the scientist. She's probably have the best chance of convincing Lorelei that they were really researchers. She approached the cottage door, knocked twice and then stepped back, waiting.

Rocky was surprise by the lady's response. 'Ever since the tragedy on One island?' That had only happened yesterday... hadn't it? What a weird way of talking. Despite interacting with these other trainers, he was still not completely comfortable with the way that the lower class spoke. Probably because they couldn't afford proper dialect coaches. 'Ew! Poor people!' he thought to himself.

Alice knocked on the door, waiting to see if this 'Lorelei' was home. It was abnormally cold so Rocky called Angel and Fury out of their Pokeballs. The Charizard and vulpix did their best to provide some heat to the group.

"Does anyone know anything about this Lorelei?" Rocky asked the rest of the group. Hopefully she was someone of proper breeding and culture.

Kyo followed along silently as they traveled from the location of meeting the elderly woman to the house of Lorelei. She sighed mentally, mostly due to the fact that it seemed no one knew who this lady was. Was she really not that well know amongst her own people or did Kyo need to reevaluate the common sense levels of her teammates. At Rocky'a prompting, Kyo cleared her throat to acquire attention, then spoke,

"Lorelei, master ice type trainer. Known for her skill with ice types, especially Lapras, Lorelei is also known to be very protective of her friends, family, and home back on Four Island. She visits frequently and it has been rumored she might retire from her work in order to protect this area full time, given it is a common target for crime organizations and poachers." Kyo paused then added, "Oh and she was a member of the Kanto Elite Four. Though I am not entirely certain of her current status."

After Brandon introduced himself and the group, the woman explained about how ferries were not coming after what happened at One Island, but that there was a trainer by the name of Lorelei that might be able to help them.

The group thanked the woman then headed to where this Lorelei apparently lived. As they approached her cottage, it suddenly got extremelly cold, Brandon zipped his hoodie up further, put the hood over his head and put his hands in his pockets. It was so cold, he could see his breath. Some of Brandon's pokemon were slightly uncomfortable with the extreme cold as well. Skipper sensing his trainer and fellow pokemon didnt like the cold, wrapped his arms and tail around Brandon's other pokemon and Brandon himself. He also made the flame on his tail grow bigger as to make it a little warmer in there for them. It helped slightly, but with this sheer cold, not even the huge fire type's best efforts helped all that much. Rocky's Charizard Fury, also was doing his best to warm up the eerily cold place for everyone. As this was happening Rocky asked if anyone knew anything about Lorelei, to Brandon's surprise Kyo, stepped up to offer information on her. Brandon was shocked, it seemed this girl knew alot. He wondered how many books had read and study as kid. He also wondered how she became affilated with Team Rocket at all. That was water under the bridge now though, he supposed.

Kyo explained she a seemly powerful ice type trainer and even previously an elite four member in Kanto. That meant she was very powerful.

Brandon chuckled a little at that and said aloud "Let's try not to ever get on her bad side then, shall we?" After this, Brandon went back to being silent again and focusing on keeping warm, but Skipper was doing most of the work for him and was doing as best a job as he could at warming him and his pokemon up. Brandon waited to see if this Lorelei would open up and if she would help them.

The trainer Loreli opened up looking very annoyed after Stacy's excessive knocking. Alice began to offer an explaination of who they were, but when Loreli mentioned something about why the island remained closed, Rocky blurted out an entirely different story. Brandon silently shook his head and facepalmed, now they were screwed, Loreli would never believe them now.

To his suprise Loreli agreed tell help get Stacy to one island. Stacy then opted to go by herself, something everybody in the group though was foolish, but they couldnt stop her and off they went. Loreli told them they could get a ride off the island in a few days.

Brandon sighed, now what would they do for several days! He thought going to look for the mega stones that other trainer had mentioned might be worth the time. Alice spoke up about it before him though. Brandon shared his agreement with the group on finding the stone. "Yeah let's see if we can find those mega stones, I think Skipper or Marshtomp would love to go Mega form one day, let's find those stones!" . With that, Brandon went back to being silent and waiting for the group to leave and head out

Alice and Rocky started to set out in search of the young trainer they had first come across the day before to see if he knew where to find Mega Stones. Brandon followed them saying "I am coming too, like I said, I think Skipper or Marshtomp would like to reach their mega form one day" . A few minutes in, Alice suggested they split up.

Before this could happen Brandon spoke up "Is that really nessecary? I mean couldn't we use some of our flying pokemon to help us find this Logan? Me or Rocky could send up Skipper or Fury and you could send up your flying type and they could see if they could spot any sight of the trainer, then we would know which direction to go to catch up with them? What do you guys think"?

Alice released her pidgeot, which the group seemed to think was needed, then Alice led them back toward where they had first encountered Logan. As they walked, Brandon noticed the silence and beauty of nature on the island. After a little while, his thoughts were interupted by Alice's Pidgeot returning. The bird pokemon circled a few times before landing and returning to her trainer. Brandon wondered if the bird had spotted anything, Brandon didn't think so, since the bird appeared to be calm and relaxed. Brandon was about to ask Alice though to be sure, but before he could, a humming sound could heard. The sound appeared to be getting louder by the second. Immediatelly Brandon's pokemon formed their defensive formation around him and prepared for a possible encounter. A couple seconds more and Brandon's pokemon's full attention was to the south of them. Brandon assumed that was where the sound was coming from. A few more seconds later they could see a scizor in the distance, presumably Logan's. If that were the case they would know where to look. As the Scizor flew past, the team began to follow it as best they could, but they lost it at the edge of the forest. Brandon was about to try and organize a search of the area around the forest to try to find a path through, when suddenly Rose started walking away from them and further into the forest. Alice tried calling to her but when they got no response theu just decided to follow her. As they began to move further into the forest, Brandon instructed his pokemon to keep a sharp out for anything out of place of suspicious and to alert him to even the smallest of oddities. He had a bad feeling about what was happening to Rose, she was acting weird. Was she being hypnotised by some wild pokemon? Brandon didn't want to take any chances. A few moments later though they came out to what appeared to be a makeshift camp. Here they found Logan on a laptop. Brandon was glad they had found Logan and knew then they should alright. He told his pokemon they could stand down a bit. They did relax a bit, but remained viligant to the sorrounding area as they always were and remained their defensive formation not willing to take any chances in this unfamilar forest. Alice and Rose began to converse with Logan, while they did so, Brandon took his pack off, took out a bottle of water and took a long sip, then put it back. That walk had made him a bit thirsty. Then he put the pack back on and continued to listen to the conversation quietly.

((Sorry, wanted to post sooner but I've been kinda busy))

The woman mentioned something about an awful tragedy on one island, basically confirming everything that the group was worried about. To make matters worse, the woman told them that it might be days before a shuttle showed up to take them off the island. She went on to say that there might be another way off the island. Rose didn't know who Lorelei was, but the name sounded familiar. "Something she said is concerning me but we can figure it out later." Meghan said. Rose wondered if Meghan was referring to the same thing Rose was thinking. Just how much time had passed?

After walking for a bit they reached a cottage next to a cave. Rose could feel cold air flowing out from the cavern. She waited for someone else to step forward, which Alice did. Rose remained silent while the others talked, listening to Kyo's explanation of who Lorelei is.

Alice knocked on the door and cautiously took a few steps back. For a few moments there was no response. Meghan looked around the house trying to get a read for the kind of person this Lorelei could be. Stacy was growing more impatient by the minute. She made her way through the others and knocked louder and continued to knock until the door finally opened. The stern league trainer stood there with her arms folded.

"You all better have a good reason for being at my doorstop." Lorelei said

Stacy sigh
" We need a way back to One Island and we were told you could help us. Can you?"

Lorelei looked at the trainer noting the stress and concern in eyes.
" Something about the look in your eye tells you are not joking. Please you and your friends are welcome to come in."

Lorelei said welcoming the group into her cottage.

As they stepped they found her home to be deceivingly large. A cold breeze of air swept through the house. The team shivered as this cold seemed out of place for the warm island.

" This way ladies and gentlemen. If we are to get you all to One Island we must hurry." She said leading them through the cottage and straight into the cave. The cottage was built into the side of entrance.

" The express ships to One Island have been halted almost to a standstill after the One Island attack. The reason the normal ferries are still down weeks after the event is because of they believe the trainer or trainers responsible for the attacks are still in the islands. Getting to One Island is almost impossible but with my clearance I should be able to bring one or two of you with. I am not sure I can carry all of you though." She sighed

She continued to walk until the reached a dock in the cave. Once there she let out a whistle and two Lapras emerged from the water.

" I realize this all seems sudden but if we are to get back there now would be the time to leave. However I am going to need to know what is going on before I will embark on 2 or 3 day trip to get back to One Island."
