After awhile of chasing after the bikers and feeble attempts from his pokemon to slow or stop the bikers down, Brandon had to simply admit he wasn't going to catch them with his current plan of action. He knew the general direction the bikers were heading, now he needed to come up with a new plan. He sat down by a tree with his pokemon to form a new plan... he rummaged in his pack for a couple things he had saved for occasions when he needed to think. He pulled out a bottle of water and an apple to help him think. Now he tried to think of what his next plan of action should be.

"Hm... Thanks for the battle... Even though i lost, it was great training for my Pokémon." Dennis says and leaves the man.
He goes back to the city and heals his Pokémon. After that he goes back to Viridian Forest to do his last training before challenging the gym leader.

Brandon was initially surprised to see Max, he had come so suddenly. After Max spoke to him he replied "Oh... Hi Max, yeah it's fine, I understand. Hey by the way, when I was walking back to the group, a couple of biker fellows snickered at me then drove away, I chased them for as long as I could... but even with my pokemon feebly trying to slow them down, they were just to fast on their motorcycle. "With no proof that they stole something from you, you have limited options. Any direct assault could get you arrested." He continued.

" Have you ever heard the expression. Pride comes before the fall?" Max smiled. "If these guys are riding around taunting people if confronted they will not be able to back down. Call them out in public and challenge them. The winner takes all. I shouldnt be telling you this but when I was younger if I wanted to catch someone off guard I would do something a little immature to annoy them. When people are angry they drop their guard."

"Th-thank you so much!" Alice said. She couldn't believe her ears. She would get her very own Tyrunt! She had mentioned it to her father before she left on this journey, but he had refused to give her one of the Pokemon he was raising to take with her. They were difficult to raise and handle, and he worried it would be too dangerous. Now that she had a team of her own, her father must have realised she deserved a chance to try.

She thought she knew this particular Tyrunt. While she was helping in the lab, right before she left for Kanto, her father's Tyrantrum had a new clutch of eggs. One of the Tyrunt which hatched was always getting into mischief. It would headbutt and bite the others, run off and hide, chew on anything and chase anything that moved. Alice's father had to keep it separate from the rest of the brood, which had only made it more agitated. If she was right, raising it was definitely going to be a challenge.

"Please take these as a gift to help you on your journey." Grant said, handing her a Dawn Stone and Belue Berry. "Well Alice I should get going." Grant smiled.

"Thanks again," Alice replied. "I'll do my best to raise this Tyrunt and to make Kalos proud." She waved as Grant walked off. When he was gone, she headed into the center. Aster followed behind, while Pichu rode on her shoulder. The appearance of Team Rocket was still at the back of her mind.

"I think I have a name for you, finally," Alice smiled, patting the Pichu on the head. "How about Paprika?"

"Chuchu~" the Pichu grinned, sending out small sparks of electricity. Alice felt her hair stand on end.

"Haha, I'm glad you like it, but try not to get too excited!" she laughed.

While Rose got her pokemon healed. Meghan went outside the pokemon center to get to know her new partner. She pulled a couple of pokeblocks for the pokemon to munch on. Kaze joined her new partner enjoying some treats.

Having finished his afternoon tea, Rocky checked the time. Surely the others would be finished with their gym battles by now.

He was tempted to head back to the forest to have another search for a Beedrill to capture, but decided that that was probably a colossally bad idea. The last encounter with Beedrills was still fresh in his mind.

Brandon was out of sight, having run off after those guys on their bike so Rocky headed back to the gym. He wanted to give Behemoth a chance to work out in the rock gym.

Despite starting the day in hospital, Rocky was having a fantastic day. He looked forward to accepting his first badge from Brock.

"Hey guys!", Meg suddenly called out from down the street.
