Alice followed the others out of the building after putting on her Poketech. It felt strange on her wrist. It would take some getting used to.

Outside, they met Brandon and Nathan, and Meg suggested they head to the museum.

Alice agreed enthusiastically. She hoped it would now be open.

Rocky walked outside the building with the others and followed as they caught up with Brandon and Nathan. He was really engrossed in playing around with the different effects and filters of the video in the Poketech device.

"Hey everyone, smile and wave for my video." he called out to the others as he pointed the video capture device at the group.

Rocky happily videoed everything as they made their way to the Museum.

15 or so minutes had passed before the team had reached the end of the road. At the edge of the city they found a paved road leading towards the museum. The area around the museum was dead silent.



The whole city had cleared out to meet the gym leaders. As they got close to the museum they noticed all the lights were off and the door was ajar.

The museum seemed to be dark and deserted. Alice peered at the slightly open door. Had it been like that when she had visited earlier? She couldn't remember. She grabbed Marionette's Pokeball and released the Ghost-type. The Shuppet flew around happily, until Alice shushed her and called her close. "We're going into the museum now," Alice said. "Can you go invisible and stick close by me?"

"Shup shup!" Marionette grinned happily, while her body began to disappear. The last to go were her eyes.

"Pipi~" Paprika said uneasily.

"Can you have a look inside?" Alice asked the empty air.

"Shuppet!" she heard back. The door wobbled slightly as the Ghost-type entered.

After a few moments Alice jumped when she felt a breath at her ear. "Shuppet!" Marionette said softly, still invisible. She didn't seem too worried about what was just inside the door. Alice hoped that meant that the building wasn't swarming with Team Rocket.

She felt a bit unsure about heading into the museum. It was against her better judgement to enter anywhere that wasn't open, especially something that seemed suspicious like this. She was determined to see those Kanto fossils no matter what though, so she smiled over her shoulder at the others. "Well, we came this far," she said, as she slid past the door and stepped inside.

"Whoa this is even cooler than I expected." Meg paused looking for Rose.
"Rose its okay.." Meg said waiting until her friend caught up.

"Guys, as much as I wanna run around in here..." Meghan paused.." do you guys hear that ??"

the deep sound of weezing (Not the pokemon ;) ) echoed faintly through the halls.

The museum looked really spooky with all the lights off. Alice thought she could make out some big glass displays up ahead. She wondered if those were the fossils.

Meg followed her in, and pulled out a flashlight. Alice waited for the others before going any further.

"Guys, as much as I wanna run around in here..." Meghan paused.." do you guys hear that ??"

Suddenly Marionette rematerialised behind Alice, seemingly afraid. Alice froze. A wheezing noise could be heard through the halls.

Alice had never heard anything like it. She looked over at the others. "What should we do?" she whispered. Alice wanted to send Marionette to investigate, but the young Ghost-type seemed scared. "Could that be someone in trouble? There are lots of rooms here... should we split up?" Alice was desperate to head to the back room where the fossils were.

Rocky walked into the spooky dark museum. He crowded in with all the others. he had seen way too many horror movies and had a bad feeling about how this would play out. Almost on cue a spooky weezing sound came from somewhere ahead. 'Wait for it' he told himself, having a bad feeling that he knew exactly what someone was about to say.

"...should we split up?" Asked Alice.

Rocky smiled apprehensively as he realised that he had 'Horror movie Bingo'.

"It's way too dark in here." he said to no-one in particular. "Fury, I chose you!"

The fierce little Charmander came out and looked around the area hoping for a fight. When it was appanrent that there was no immediate fight, he climbed up to stand on Rocky's shoulder.

The light from Fury's tail offered a little illumination, but also heightened the depths of the shadows. Rocky wasn't sure that it was much of an improvement.

"Head up Fury, sounds like someone is in here. You may get your fight after all." Rocky said.

"Charmander, Char!" called out Fury , challenging the darkness.

"I guess out choices are explore or run out of here and don't look back..." No-one seemed interested in option B. "I'll take left flank."

Before the team had a chance to fully split up the weezing sound got louder and louder until a figure stumbled oddly out of the shadows and fell in front of them. When they took a closer look it was a man who had his mouth taped up and his legs and arms bound.

Meg quickly rushed over to help him sit up carefully taking off the tap. She began to ask what happened but the man blotted out.

"They took the the crystallized amber!!!" He said called out before falling over exhausted.

"I tried calling for help but the whole city is busy with the gym leaders! I need you young to get the amber back!!"

"Why... would the museum just be empty and dark like this?" Rose asked. Something didn't feel right. Still, something didn't feel right about the poketech company either, but they turned out to be okay. Rose had almost begun to relax a little when she noticed the noise. Meghan mentioned it at about the same time she heard it. Frantically she tried to locate it's source, but nowhere in her range of sensing was anything that could have caused it. Suddenly she sensed it as it drew closer. It was a man. Rose froze. The other's probably couldn't see it yet, but Rose's sensing wasn't hindered by darkness. She took a step back. A moment later he fell out of the shadows. His mouth was covered and his arms and legs were bound.

Crystallized amber stolen? And now they were being ordered to go get it back? What was even happening? She was feeling extremely anxious.

Just go on without me!" responded Wattson, continuing to sign autographs. Nathan, Leafy, and Shich followed the others and entered the museum.
