Nathan grabbed his new egg. The egg had a brown on it and was heavy. Nathan pressed his ear against the hard shell and heard a hollow sound, like the ocean. Nathan put the heavy egg in his bag which made him sink. "Wow, this bag is getting heavy. Time to organize this bag. In order to put less pressure on his back, Nathan put all the Pokeballs and medicine in his apron's pocket and left the rest inside the bag, and the egg fit inside the big, nifty pocket in his apron. "Hey look at me! I'm a Chansey!" joked around Nathan.

The team set off down the lesser used Southern pass. This route let them up the side of the Mt.Moon. The path involved a little climbing but nothing to steep. The view however was amazing as the treked their way up the narrow path that had seemingly only been used by a few trainers looking for more of an outdoors feel. As they reached the peak of the road they could hear the sound of pokemon playing near by.



Meghan paused getting down low. She put her hand up and made the gesture for everyone to duck down. The team watched the playful Clefairy line making there way through the Mt. Moon pass.

Meg looked over at Nathan.
"This is there family...we dont want to frighten them or disturb them. They could attack and though we may be able to win I still wouldnt feel right beating up on a whole family of pokemon."

Meg looked at the others.
"Lets move.." She said keeping her voice low.

She began on the moving down the declining path. The tricky path down caused a little bit of slipping which benifted the team.

"Fable!!!" a soft voice called out curiosly poking its head out of the bushes

The Clefable was pretty curious. It took a moment to check them out from a far before walking up to Nathan. It looked over his gear and clothing. It carefully looked at the six pokeballs.
"Clefable it smiled." Point at Pichus pokeball.


Meg just smiled watching the interaction between this fully evolved pokemon and Nathan.
"You think its trying to call out a pokemon to play? " She smiled

"Tell it to avoid Rocky..his steel and poison types dont play nice.." she laughed

"Th-Thank you!" Rose stuttered excitedly, unable to believe that the man had given them all eggs just for giving twenty minutes of help. She gently put the egg in her backpack, resting it on top of her stuff. She closed it as much as she could, but the top still stuck out a bit. She made sure it couldn't fall out and put the bag back on her back. She wondered what kind of Pokemon could be in the egg. She would have to wait and see.

Climbing up the path wasn't too hard for Rose. Her sensing allowed her to easily find spots to hold on to as she climbed, and it wasn't overly steep anyway. Eventually she began to sense movement ahead. Soon everyone could hear the noise and could see it's source. Meghan said not to disturb them, so Rose laid low. When the cleffable jumped out of the bushes she stood silently and watched curiously.

Alice and Aster followed the others, enjoying the nice weather and scenery. She was happy to see a family of Clefairy and its evolutions. Though it seemed strange to see them in daylight, it was probably due to the events of Mt. Moon, and Alice was happy they were safe.

Aster enjoyed the afternoon sun.

Alice was surprised when a Clefable popped out. It must have trusted the group a lot to take such a risk. It seemed to be interested in Nathan. Alice stayed back and watched. Soon a group of Cleffa appeared and seemingly wanted to play.

Alice looked down at Aster. He was a poison type and might scare the little fairies. She grabbed Paprika's Pokeball and released the Pichu.

"Chuchu!" Paprika grinned, seeing the new play mates. She ran over and sniffed at one of the Cleffa, then began to run around, urging it to join in with chants of "Pi!". The Cleffa eventually obliged and the two ran up the path, playing tag. Paprika climbed up a tree and then dropped down behind the Cleffa to dodge it. The small fairy laughed daintily before resuming the chase. Eventually Paprika stopped and grabbed the Cleffa's arms, spinning in a circle. Alice was glad to see that they were having fun.

Paprika ran up to Alice and climbed onto her shoulder. The Cleffa followed unsurely. Alice kneeled down. "Hello there," she said calmly. "Aren't you sweet? Did you have fun playing?"

"Clef clef!" the Pokemon squeaked in reply.

"Pipi!" Paprika jumped down and grabbed the Cleffa's hand.

"Would you like to come with us?" Alice asked.

"Fa!" the Cleffa looked at Paprika, and then nodded.

"Alright then" Alice smiled, grabbing a Pokeball and holding it out. The Cleffa reached out a small hand and disappeared in a flash of light.

The playful group of Cleffa wandered over and started playing.

Fury got excited as they approached at the prospect of a fight. "No, Fury. They are not attacking. I think they want to play." Rocky told him. Fury wandered off in a huff! If he didn't get to attack something soon, he was going to be a very upset Charmeleon.

Rusty walked out shyly and gently played with some of the smaller Cleffas. She was was a caring and kind Pokemon despite her Rock/Steel typing.

"Who say's steel type don't play nice?" Rocky said, directing his comment to Meg. "I will keep Professor away though, I don't want to scare the Cleffa."

Speedy saw that he had some new playmates and got superexcited. He ran from Cleffa to Cleffa jumping and chattering to them. Rocky thought he being a little bit rough. Most of teh Cleffa shied away from the Boistrous Rattata, but one of them seemed to love the roughhousing.

The rough Cleffa and Speedy chased and tackled each other, at one stage they rolled down a slope in a raooling ball of pink and purple until they hit a tree and both sprang away laughing.

Rocky pulled out an empty Pokeball and threw it to Speedy. "Why don't you two play catch?" he said.

The Cleffa and Rattata took turns throwing ball to each other. (Although 'at' each other was a better description.)

Fury eventually wandered back to sit next to Rocky with his arms crossed. The Charmeleon was in a grumpy mood.

"I promise, the next grass type Pokemon that attacks us, you can attack as hard as you like, Fury." Rocky said, patting the Charmeleon's head.

"Charmeleon, Char Char?" Fury asked.

"Yes as hard as you like!" Rocky repeated.

"Charrrr!" Fury replied in a very satisfied voice.

Rocky sat with his feirce Charmeleon as Rusty gently played with the smaller Cleffa. Speedy and his Cleffa were either playing or trying to kill each other, but either way they were both enjoying themselves.
