Alice was grateful when Meg suggested a walk. She had no idea how to begin. She tried to gather her thoughts as they started walking.

"This is going to sound crazy," she started finally. "But here goes...

"I just had a dream... I think... But it was more real than any dream I can remember. I was sitting in the center and heard a tap at the window. There was someone outside so I went out there and it was Max. He looked different... He had an eye patch on..." Alice paused. Did Meg think she was crazy? She was making Max sound like a pirate or something. "He seemed to be pretty roughed up. Anyway, he told me I had to warn everyone. We need to be out of Cerulean by tomorrow night... I know it sounds insane but I could have sworn it was real until I woke up again in the center."

Alice frowned. "I don't know what to believe... I don't know if I'm just exhausted or if Max is really trying to warn us... But this whole thing is making me uneasy. We know there is probably a Rocket base nearby and we are being seen as the bad guys in that battle. It makes sense that we shouldn't stick around... Maybe it was even my own subconscious or something," Alice said, though she didn't believe it. "But if it was just a dream and we leave tomorrow, then no harm done right? But if it was real somehow... If Max was warning us and something terrible happens... I'll... He'll never forgive me," she said, tears welling in her eyes again. She blinked them away hastily. "Please Meg... Everyone will listen if you tell them we have to leave," she finished.

Alice spent the whole time looking straight ahead as she talked. Now she looked at her feet. Unable to face Meg as she waited to hear what the other girl thought.

If this journey was all going to be this way..it was going to a very long journey. Meghan thought trying to process all she was hearing. Alice looked worn out and the stress put on her could explain this dream...but she didnt seem like the kind of person to just assume a dream was real. Could Alice really have had a vision. Meghan took a second to process it.
" Of course they would listen you..." she smiled.
" Rather safe than sorry, will meet up with Misty tomorrow and see what she has to say then will get out of Cerulean...I hope you dont take this the wrong way but I hope you are wrong. I dont think Ill be able to sleep right the rest of this journey if things keep happening."

She paused.
"and I believe you Alice..you are pretty level headed. I just wish things could be different. This isnt what I imagined. My cousin helpe arrest Max back in Pewter. Since that moment all of this feels like a nightmare we cant wake up from."

Alice let out a relieved sigh as Meg agreed that the group could leave after talking to Misty tomorrow.

".I hope you dont take this the wrong way but I hope you are wrong." Meg said.

"I hope that too," Alice smiled weakly. "But thank you for believing me." Alice started to wonder if she was actually going crazy.

"I just wish things could be different. This isnt what I imagined." Meg said.

"Me neither," Alice sighed again. "Everyone always spoke about Pokemon journeys as this fun and wonderful adventure, but I feel like we've had bad luck ever since we left Pallet Town. And even before then, when those Pokemon escaped from the lab!" Alice frowned. "I hope things will calm down. Kanto has changed so much since I was a kid. I never felt unsafe here before, now I struggle to trust anyone."

Nathan stayed quiet during the events, even throuhh the slaughtering of his pokemon, and even during his kidnappiing. It was a coping mechanism when under stress. The team had finally arrived to Cerulean City, where Nathan could calm down and catch up with the voices in his head.

Nathan had always been a peculiar character. "Half insane" is what he calls himself. Always his own world, however always still here. Might explain his out-of-the-box thinking. And maybe his mannerism.

Nathan made it to the Pokemon Center and healed everyone. He went to his PC and edittes his team.

As Marcela followed Brandon along, she was thinking about re-stocking on items as she needed a few potions and such, but that could wait a little later maybe after training she thought. She did however agree with him about such a beautiful sunset being present this evening. "Yeah, it sure is a beautiful sunset.." she breathed taking in the gentle breeze of the weather. "You know, sunset is often my favourite time of the day because I usually like to stay up during the nights when the sun goes down, sitting on my own and looking at the stars and mainly thinking about what it'll be like for my team and I.. as well as the rest of the pokemon kind in the future to come.. and you something strange?.. Whenever I'm asleep, I always seem to have this one same dream.. I.. always dream that one day, I'll meet a legendary pokemon somewhere in the world." she said, absorbed in her own thoughts for a few moments but then returned the smile to him.

She then turned her attention to the berry bush he was talking about. "Oh wow, really? Heh heh, I suppose you learn something new everyday huh?"
