Meghan sent out Heracross who moved over to help clear rocks. As the most physically powerful pokemon in the group. Heracross was able to move rocks the others couldnt. Kaze and Gnaw helped clear the path. Until finally with the help of Rocky and his pokemon there was a mound high enough to climb. However the rock pile was unstable.

As she helped Rose cross to the other edge of the room. She called back out Pika to help search for the little psychic in the pile. Meghan paused as Pikachu started to dig out the injured pokemon. Once the pokemon was found. Rose was able to call it back.

The whole team gathered at the rock pile. Meghan looked up at the 15 foot high pile a little unsure.
"Uhh..Im not sure everyone can make it up their..Even if a few of us make it up their the others might get trapped down here."

Brandon was surprised how quick things had progressed, one minute the group was in control, the next he was falling through the cave floor with rocks falling around him, Brandon landed with a thud... Narrowly missing hitting his head, he covered his head and hoped very much that a rock didnf land directly on him. He felt small ones thump against him and clatter to the floor. Brandon finally passed out from the confusion ray after a couple minutes. When he came to the rocks had stopped falling but he had a pile of smaller rocks pinned near hie legs, he was sorrunded by rocks of all sizes. He pulled the stones from legs and very slowly sat up, checking himself over for injuries, other then a few bruises, minor cuts and scrapes and sore stiff muscles, he seemed to be alright. His next thoughts went to his pokemon, they had all been out there pokeballs and near him when they fell.. He called out to them "Skipper!!! Skipper, Mudkip!! Pidgey!.Mankey! Catepie! Nidoran! Are you guys ok?" a couple minutes later he heard the shuffling of rocks nearby and a screech of 'MANKEY MANKKM MANKEEY MANKEEY!' then Brandon's Manky appeared in a small opening he made by tossing away rocks. He seemed to motion urgently for Brandon to follow him. Which Brandon did, he crawled through the very small space and came upon a very small opening, inside Skipper laid unconcious, Mudkip and Pidgey sitting next to him trying urgently to get him to wake up... Nidoran seemed ok and was trying to comfort a very nervous... Extremely terrified caterpie. Brandon crawled over to Skipper, he seemed to have taken a very hard hit to the head, he was also very bruised in several areas of his body... Brandon called to Skipper several times and gave him a gentle shake to see if he could arise him. No response, he pulled Skipper's pokeball off his belt. He pressed the button sending Skipper back into his pokeball. A few questions to the rest of his team revealed what had happened, when the fall happened Skipper had been standing close to Caterpie, right before they hit the ground, Skipper knowing Caterpie would likely be crushed under the rocks and him being team leader, took caterpie in his arms and curled up into a ball, saving Caterpie.

Brandon then asked his pokemon to help cleaf some rocks, which they did. They very very soon found the rest of the team. They were helping rose who had (it would seem) had just admitted she was blind. Rocky was trying to find a way out. Brandon walked up to Rocky "Do you think my Pidgey here might be able to help?"

Pidgey flapped his wings happily, excited to have a very seemingly important role.

Rocky looked at the rocky pile. It was going to be dangerous to climb, but it was their only chance.

Brandon walked up to Rocky "Do you think my Pidgey here might be able to help?"

"Thanks, Brandon. But I think your Pidgey might be a little to small to help carry anyone out of here by itself." A thought struck Rocky and he turned to look at the rest of the group.

"Although, if we combined 2 or three flying types to give a boost to each person as the climbed, they would weigh less and find the climb much easier. Yes that is brilliant, Brandon. Good idea."

"Someone needs to secure the pile while we climb it though. Based on size and strength, I will stay down here until the rest of you are up, holding the rocks as stable as I can. Then you can all try to get me out if this pile falls. Just try not to drop any rocks on me." Rocky smiled a big positive smile that showed a lot confidence than he was actually feeling.

"If the worst comes to worse, I'll have Behemoth dig us out of here."

Alice winced as Brandon's Pidgey was knocked out. She had considered using Aria, and was glad she had decided against it.

"Maybe Aster could make it up the pile..." Alice mused aloud."Then he could reach his vines down for us to climb up."

She looked down at Aster. "Do you think you could try?" she asked.

"Saur, Ivy!"

Aster climbed gingerly over the rock pile, using his vines to balance by grabbing sturdier rocks on the sides of the walls. When he neared the top, he grabbed a large boulder with his vines and hoisted himself out of the pit. He wrapped one vine around the boulder at the top of the pit and stretched the other one down to the trainers. It didn't quite reach the bottom. They would have to climb a little on the rock pile to reach it.

Alice hoped Aster would be strong enough to lift a human. "I guess I'll go first," she said nervously. She carefully climbed over the rocks, avoiding the loose ones, and managed to grab Aster's vine. She dug her toes into the wall of the pit as she climbed.

It didn't sound like a bad idea, but as though some GM Arceus himself had been listening in disapproval, a stone fell from the ceiling and knocked out Brandon's bird, killing any chances of success his plan had. Rose didn't think Alice's plan would work either though. "Can he really support the weight of a person?" She questioned.

"If only a few can make it out," Rose began morbidly, her attitude completely changing from how she had been before entering the caves, "then send the ones who can do the most to help up first, and whoever doesn't make it you can come back for later." She paused for a second before adding "In that case, make sure I'm last."

"Rose is right.." We run the risk of someone getting hurt if we put that much weight on Ivysaurs to move around.
Meghan paused. She was one of the most athletic trainers and was not Rockys weight. She turned to Rocky.

"I should go with Alice. I am pretty agile and have spent times training in caves." Alice said.

"I need you to take care of Rose until we can find her a revive." Meghans said not wanting to leave Rose but knowning she was one of the fastest members.

" Will be back as soon as possible."


As Alice climbed up. Heracross helped boost her as she was able to make it over the edge with some work. Meghan followed next with some help for Heracross. When Meghan was over the other end the rock pile broke apart causing the others to move back. Meg called back her team and looked at Alice.
"We need to move fast to find way to the bottom level...this cave in has made the whole thing unstable."

Nathan and Shich sat down by the tower of rubble wondering what the team should do. The pile of rocks was unstable and Nathan wasn't sure if he was good enough as a climber to tackle this. The whole room was inky dark, with the exception of the light from above and the few flames of the Charmeleon.

"The thing looks to dangerous to climb. If somebody slips, they'll fall, bust their skull and bring down the tower, causing who knows what more damage to us," said Nathan, "Maybe we should just move forward. Hopefully there's some escape route, a ladder, or something to get us out."

Meg and Alice made it up the wall before the pile of rocks collapsed. Rocky had to jump away to avoid getting hit.

"Well that's two out at least." He said to the others in the pit. Then he raised his voice to call to Meg and Alice. "You two find anything up there to help us get out?"

"I need some space here, everyone back up a bit, I'm going to let Behemoth out."

The large Hippopotas took up most of the remaining room in the pit. The other tainers had to shuash up to give him room.

"Behemoth here is a champion digger. I first met him in a situation similar to this, in a pit trap that was filling with sand. He got me out that time. Don't worry, I am sure he can get us out of this one too."

"Behemoth, use dig to get us out of here."

The hefty hippo pokemon came out. Before it could begin digging something caught its attention. The the happy little hippo bounced over and began to eat some of the mushrooms on the wall. As it eat something appeared that should have scared it but it didnt seem to mind.

The walls began to move and chunks fell down. When the chunks of earth started to move the team was a little confused. Until the realized.



This cavern was home to Paras.. The mushrooms on the walls were what they farmed.

The paras came out trying to repair the wall but the hungry hippo just kept eating. The little distressed bugs began to come out to defend the area. Rocky would need to do something before the distressed bugs released their spores as defense.
