"The time traveler?" Rose questioned. Suddenly the creature disappeared. Around her, the shadow energy began to rapidly dissipate, leaving behind the world that had existed previously. The being of light reappeared and told her that she needed to get Alice back. Of course, she didn't hesitate to do so. As she opened the portal, she began to see what was happening inside through Max's eyes again. What ensued confused Rose, but it seemed that everything would be okay. Even so, she was still trembling after what she had just experienced. The being began to talk to her.

Rose didn't respond, but she considered this carefully. What did he mean by a powerful psychic boost? What would it take to achieve something like this again? Before she could ask any questions, she was standing in an empty room. She had no clue where she was, but she was still shaking. "Is... it over?" She said quietly. She felt light headed. She reached her hands out trying to find something to hold onto. They made contact with the wall, and she leaned into it, slumping down to the floor as tears flooded out of her eyes. She began to hysterically cry, tucking her knees into her chest and burying her face in her arms. Was she really back, or was this all some kind of trick?

Rocky still felt pretty out of it since the night's events.

He wandered the military hospital waiting for Alice to wake up. He wondered where his Pokemon were. It was way too early to be awake, but the adrenaline running through him would not let his rest.

Meg was talking to the girl who had helped to save them. Something about the trainer seemed familiar to Rocky, but he couldn't quite place it. He walked over to introduce himself.

"Hello. My name is Rocky. Thanks for the save out there. Do you know much about the army outfit?"

Alice's eyes flew open. She sat bolt upright, looking around in a daze. "Rose?!" Was the first thing Alice called out. She wasn't sure what had happened exactly. But the girl had managed to re-establish the connection. She had brought Alice back.

The rest of the memories came flooding back...

The god of death... a monster... Max...the light... Everything had happened so fast. There hadn't been time to process it. But she had seen Max... an older Max, with an eyepatch, just like in her dream. We can save him... she thought, considering the things she'd seen. I know it now.

"Rose!" Alice screamed out as she jolted too. Meghan quickly got up to help calm her down.
"Rocky ! go check on Rose!" Meghan called out as she helped Alice lay back down.

" Alice we are here calm down. Alice is safe in her own room. I bet she woke up already."

(We need to move forward so each of you feel creative but you either need to go to sleep or say you stayed up cause we are about to jump ahead. Bunny people. )

Rocky found Rose and confirmed she was okay. After a little while he came back and let everyone know. Once the whole was safe they decided to try and get some sleep and talk in the morning.

8am

Meghan had fallen asleep in a chair in her room. She had sat up trying to watch the door just in case anything happened. Which she finally walk up she dropped a plastic bar she had taken off the bed. She left the room and immediately went to check on the others. After just visual confirmation she went for her pokemon. The buidling they were in had three floors on the bottom level there was a nurse station set up. There she got her pokemon back. As she was about to head out she noticed the sun was out and she could finally see the full effect of the battle and the attack.

Meghan was completely taken back by what she saw. The streets were covered in dirt, rock and glass as far as the eye could see. Buildings around were knocked down. Deep claw marks and burn marks from those shadow pokemon were carved into the landscape.

Meghan found a safe spot to call out her team. When she did she noticed that Sappy and Nacht did not look right. She called them back and ran towards the nurse.

"There is something wrong with my partners.." She said handing over the pokemon.

The nurse did a scan and nothing came up. This is why she hadnt noticed it before.
"Oh my...this Pokerus somehow evaded our scanners..." She said taking the pokeballs.

"Young lady its going to be best for me to take your pokemon for now. We can run test and see if we cant snip this in the bud before this gets out of hand..Is that okay? " Nurse Joy asked.

Meghan frowned and nodded.
" I will miss them but this is whats best for them. Please take care of them they mean a lot to me."

*Heres how the shadow sickness will work. First the pokemon gets it. Once they faint the first time they can be healed but when they come back they will start a count down to becoming a shadow. The berries you have are to heal Shadow Pokemon not to heal the infection! I will need to create a new berry! However the pokemon can be healed if you leave the pokemon at the pokemon center for that many steps (As it would have taken to become a shadow) and it will get healed with intensive care. The Berries (When they are created)will be much faster but just so you know you have options. (Oh and if you take the pokemon with and then bring it to pokemon center with one step left it will restart to have to heal the full amount dont be slick ;)

For your first infected batch will leave them at the pokemon center to add this into the story.)

Brandon stayed awake in his room, trying very hard not to be bored, he was not accomplishing the task very well. Brandon decided after a couple hours to go explore the hospital. Maybe they had a cafeteria somewhere where he could get some real grub, maybe he would be able to find his stuff along with his pokemon. Brandon opened his room door, of which the keycard slot had been de activated and began to walk down hall after hall, he eventually just kind of fell into deep thoughts as he walked, thinking about all that had happened. He wondered if everyone in the group was ok yet, if that guy, Jacob was still around or had he gone home. Would they run into that dark evil figure again? Would they ever find and rescue Max? All of these were questions that only time could answer. After all, Brandon turned around and decided to try and head back to his room, where he decided he would wait for Meg and the others to tell him when to leave and what to do next.

Rose didn't get any sleep that night. Although, given the time, saying she didn't sleep that morning would be more accurate. She was too shaken by everything that had just happened. Despite her extreme level of sleep deprivation, she forced herself out of bed that morning. "Amirah." Rose said, and the psychic type's eyes opened.

She walked out into the hall, the look in her eyes more distant than ever. She hadn't gotten a chance to talk to anyone about what had happened. She skipped eating anything and headed down to the lobby. There, she released her Pokemon to make sure they were all okay. Her Charmander seemed okay, but something seemed wrong with all of the others. She couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. She realized that her Charmander was the only one who didn't fight shadow Pokemon. Were they the cause of this? Rose walked up to one of the nurses and questioned her.

"Something does seem wrong." The nurse said. "Is it okay if we keep your Pokemon here and run some tests?" She questioned. Rose didn't know what to do. She needed her team. Without her current team, she wouldn't even have a full six Pokemon. She was already the group's weakest link as far as team strength was concerned (At least, as far as she could tell she was), now she would be making herself even weaker. Did she really have a choice though? She cared for her Pokemon, and couldn't bare to see them like this. If they got worse and something terrible happened, she would never forgive herself for her selfishness in keeping them. She called her Pokemon back and handed them to the nurse.

EDIT: If only Pokemon that fought and didn't faint are infected, only my gabite is infected.

EDIT 2: Alright, with the change, all my pokemon are infected, so undoing the previous edit.

After take a moment to take in everything Meghan headed in. She knew her team had just been through a lot so she made the move give all of her pokemon some much needed rest. Professor Oaks place was far away from all of this and they could relax there.

Meghan stood there happy to see her friends. She had almost forgotten about everything when it hit. Her hand started to tremble. She put it in her pocket and made were way quickly past everyone else to the bathroom. Her hand shook while she locked the door. Once it was locked she coverd her mouth as she started to cry. How did they get mixed up in this. Meg slide down the door into the corner. Her hands trembling. She couldnt stop herself from crying. She had almost died. Her soul had almost gotten ripped from her body. All of this by someone who might have been Max. How could they possibly stop something like this creature. Everything they did was ineffective. Her heard started to pick up and she found herself popping open her pills to take one of her heart pills.

Kaze came out of her pokeball and nugged Meg.
"Char??" She said sadly trying to get her trainer up.

Meghan sat there for a little longer until she had finally calmed down and the tears stopped. Once she composed herself she walked out. She walked out and noticed Rose getting her pokemon. She made her way over giving her a hug. She had been happy to see she was fine. Meg examined the trainer.
" hanging in there?" She said checking on her friend.

@brandon_g any pokemon that battled a shadow pokemon and did not directly faint is infected.

Alice was relieved to see Meg in her room. The others were okay! She told Alice that Rose was alright too. Alice lay back down, exhausted. She fell asleep quickly.

The next morning she got up slowly. Her head was a bit sore, but otherwise she seemed to be alright. She had no idea what had happened to anyone else. She headed downstairs, hoping to get her Pokemon healed. The nurse took them, but when she came back to the desk, she had a funny expression on her face. "I'm sorry but some of your Pokemon seem to be ill. Some of the other Pokemon I've seen lately had the same. I think it's best if you let them recover here. You can pick it up at the next Pokemon Center you come to."

Alice frowned. Jedi, Tyrunt, Citrus and Memento had battled the Shadow Pokemon. They had seemed very weak afterward. Could something have happened to them? Jacob did say that Pokemon could be infected...

"No problem, thank you. Please take good care of them," Alice said to the nurse, then accepted her other Pokemon back.

She headed straight to the PC and withdrew Pokemon to fill her team. While she was there, she felt a strange rumbling in her bag... her egg! When she retrieved it, it had already begun to hatch. A small clown-like Pokemon appeared. "Miiime!" it said happily. Alice tickled it under the chin. It laughed jovially. Alice smiled a little, but she was still feeling strange about everything that happened. She grabbed a Pokeball and caught the Mime Jr., then deposited it into the PC. This world wasn't safe for baby Pokemon right now.

Having completed those errands, Alice began to feel anxious. She could see Meg and Rose nearby, but she didn't feel like talking to anyone right now. She had seen so many things. How could she ever explain them to the others? Should she? Only Rose would understand... and even then, Rose hadn't been there when the god of death had appeared. Alice felt more alone than she had since she started this journey. She wandered outside. The destruction around her made her pulse quicken, adding to the white hot anger in her chest. She enjoyed the feeling.

@Pokemon Trainer Sarah @Brettles @Dragon Master Mike @brandon_g So I figured it out. Any pokemon that battles a shadow will either need A) the berry to get rid of the sickness or B) Time to fully heal with the Pokemon Center. Okay so Im going to make it so normal pokemon can not be turned into shadows. Instead they will continue to be "Sick" and they will keep fainting until you complete steps A or B. Now to make that clear if a pokemon is taken out of the pokemon center and not left to be healed its HP will be Halved Until steps A or B are completed.
@Dragon Master Mike and @Pokemon Trainer Sarah its up to you guys to make it clear it was Max as the dark man they just ran across.

We are going to move a little forward.

Once the team had gathered they made there way outside to finally look around. Meghan looked around and noticed the guy Jacob was gone.

"Anyone see the other trainer Jacob?" She asked looking around. @Lightning Dash
"What about the trainer Vii?" She said looking back

As they stood there they noticed soldiers cleaning up the streets. Further up the Road Misty and her pokemon helped clear the street.
