After talking for a couple of hours the tried trainers all decided to get some sleep. Rocky called his Pokemon out and gathered them around him. They had spent enough time in cages. Tonight they could sleep out.

Char and Behemoth curled up on either side of Rocky, while Rusty snuggled in beside him. Vulpix curled up and slept next to Char's tail while Speedy perched himself on Rusty's back and fell asleep.

Rocky dreamed of a warrior holding aloft a mighty 2 handed sword to defend a tower from a rider on the back of a viscious blue dragon. The warrior stood alone as other huddled in fear. Greta blasts of lightning shot out from teh dragon's mouth, but the warrior stood his ground, refusing t o surrender to fear.

The next morning, Rocky woke to find the honedge hovering next to him. Rocky looked at the markings on the hilt of the sword pokemon. The markings were identical to the sword he had seen in his dreams. He knew that story.

"So, you are descended from the brightblade?" Rocky asked.

The honedge glowed yellow in response.

"Does yellow mean yes?" Rocky asked.

The honedge glowed yellow again.

"OK, why are you normal size? Brightblade was a giant 2-handed blade. You don't seem anywhere near that large."

Honegde reached down with i's 'sash' and drew itself from its scabbard. That scabbard must have had some sort of extra-dimensional holding capacity, because the blade that came out was definitely a giant 2 handed blade.

"Nice trick." He said. "Come on everyone lets get moving. I want to see what kind of restaurants this island has."

Brandon continued listening silently to what everyone said, when everyone finally finished and was ready to go to sleep, Brandon crawled back to his make shift bed, be could have made a makeshift tent using some the tarp, sheets and rope he had in his pack, but it was such a beatiful night, that he decided to sleep in the open with only his makeshift bed, his couple blankets and pillow. Once he reached the makeshift bed, he laid down and put the blankets over him, then Brandon said good night to Skipper, who sat next to his makeshift bed, watching everyone pack up for the night and also scanning the forest around them, keeping an eye out for any threats. Before he fell asleep, Brandon reached down to his belt and pulled Skipper's pokeball off his belt, he tapped skipper on the foot, once Skipper looked at him, Brandon held up the pokeball, offering Skipper the shelter of his pokeball if he wanted it, but the Charizard shook his head, declining the offer. As Brandon re clipped the pokeball to his belt, Skipper bent down nudged his trainer with his snout gently, his way of saying good night. Brandon rubbed Skipper's snout gently and said quietly"Thank you buddy, good night to you too." then Skipper nodded kindly and went back to keeping an eye on the sorroundings. As Brandon lay on the makeshift bed yawning and beginning to drift off to sleep, Brandon tiredly said to Skipper "Don't stay up all night buddy. It is ok to sleep, even the most strongest and mightest pokemon need sleep, so be sure to get some sleep tonight, you've earned it, we all have". Brandon said this so that hopefully Skipper would get some sleep and not stay up guarding all night, Skipper was such a proud, protective pokemon and leader, that it wouldnt surprise Brandon if the Charizard forgot to get some sleep. He wanted to make sure the Charizard would get some sleep, last thing he wanted or needed was his pokemon being tired, especially with all the excitement and dangerous things and events that always seen to happen around the group. Moments after he finished saying it, he fell into a deep, relaxing sleep.

In the morning, he woke up and prepared to begin packing up his things, next to his makeshift bed and where he was sleeping, Skipper was laying down on his stomach, probably the most comfortable position, now that he had wings and was fast asleep. Brandon smiled silently, glad to see pokemon getting some rest. He proceeded with packing up his things and getting ready for the day, being very careful to make as little to no noise as possible, he didnt want to wake up Skipper from his sleep yet until the others were up. As he finished packing up his things and was pulling out a couple pieces of beef jerky and a granola bar from his pack to have for breakfast. Some of the others began to wake up. The movements of the other trainers in the group waking up and moving around to start the day, woke up Skipper from his sleep. He opened his eyes and quickly got to his feet, immediatelly looking around to make sure there werent being attacked or anything like that, once he was confident it was just the other trainers in the group waking up and there were no threats, he sat down and stretched began to stretch his arms. When he noticed Brandon was awake, he nodded his head at him, his way of trying to say good morning. Brandon, now munching a strip of beef jerky said between bites "Good morning Skipper, you sleep well?" The Charizard nodded in reply, he seems to have had a very relaxed and much needed night sleep. Brandon, eating the last little piece of beef jerky, said in reply "That's good, you deserved it. We have been through alot lately, we all deserve the rest." after a brief pause he asked "You hungry? I have some beef jerky you could eat if you want, I know it isn't much for a big pokemon like you, but it should hopefully be enough to hold the hunger at bay until we can find you something more to eat". He reached into his pack again, he dug his hand into the small poncho like bag that contained his supply of beef Jerky, he took out a handful and gave some to Skipper. Then he released the rest of his pokemon and passed the rest out evenly between them all. They all gratefully accepted it and hungrily ate the beef jerky. They were all done eating within less a minute, showing just how hungry they were, then they all took turns congratulating Skipper on evolving, it was the first time they had seen him since his evolution and they were all very excited and happy for him. Marshtomp in particular took the longest to congratulate Skipper, having been with Brandon and his team almost from the very start, just like skipper and knowing Skipper the longest of any other pokemon in the team. Brandon watched with a smile as he watched his pokemon congratulate Skipper and then converse with one another. Brandon decided he would let them all talk and play and do whatever they wanted until the rest of the group was up and they were ready to leave. They had certainly earned the right and the priviledge to it. Brandon sat watching happily and feeling very proud as his pokemon talked and played with another, as he waited for the rest for the group to wake up and for them all to be ready to leave.

"Wake up!" Meghan heard. Or at least that she thought she heard as she opened her eyes. She food fell the sworeness in her arms and back for all the stuff that happened yesterday. She struggled to sit up pulling up her shirt slightly to check out her bruised stomach and ribs.

" Ouch.." she said carefully feeling her ribs.

She looked around for the Squritle and Riolu but the pokemon had already gotten up and were outside playing. Kaze let out a lazy yawn getting up too. Meghan pulled out her pokeballs and let the rest of her team out.
"Its a pretty day come out!" She smiled

As she walked around the area she noticed the others. Brandon and his pokemon were all together. Stacy was combing her hair while Ty was chasing Pikachu. Rocky was walking to his Honedge and Rose and Alice were getting up. Meghan looked around and noticed Riolu had run over to Kyo and her pokemon. Meghan smiled and waved.
"Morning !" then looked around
"Morning everyone she yawned."

As Rocky got read to and wanted to move he noticed something watching him out of the corner of his eye.

A Weedle!!!!

However before he could do anything the two sister Squritles ran past and started to roll around. As water guns splahsed out on Rocky and his pokemon. He lost sight of the Weedle and once again it was gone.

The squritles looked up at the big trainer with a smile and took off running to hide behind Kaze.

Meghan did a little more stretching but paused as a loud rumbling echoed through her body.
" Food would be good. Lets do that." She said looking around

"Kiara?" She asked

Meghan couldnt find the trainer but found a note pinned to a tree.

"To much going on..Simple life...no problems.. good luck.."

Meghan frowned

"thanks." She said with a slight frown.

The team finished getting ready and then started on the path again. The walked for 15 minutes before running across a confused old man. The man sat on a big stone a little upset.

"Watch out young people. This routes not safe for young travels like yourself."

Meghan gave Rose a hug before standing up to set up her tent. Rose decided to set up her sleeping pack right next to the fire. There was a slight breeze, but although the fire was starting to dim, it still gave out enough warmth that she didn't even have to zipper her sleeping bag all the way. She turned over and quickly fell asleep.

Her eyes jumped open later as she woke up, startled. It was just like the night before. She felt as though she had had some horrible dream, but couldn't remember it. All she could remember was the sound of water and wind. "Time." Rose said, pressing the button on her poketech.

"The time is 2:07 AM." It said in an artificial voice. She heard Amirah begin to move next to her and her surroundings slowly began to come into focus.

"It's okay Amirah. Go back to sleep." Rose said to her partner. The small Pokemon let out a chime before settling down again. She zipped her sleeping bag all the way and turned over. A while later however she still hadn't fallen asleep. "Time." She said again to the poketech.

"The time is 3:12 AM." It informed her once more. She decided that there was no point in trying to fall asleep when she obviously couldn't. "Come on Amirah." She said, slowly standing up. The small psychic type lifted into the air. "We haven't had any time to just train in a while." She explained. After walking into the forest just far enough to not disturb anyone she released her Honedge and Charmeleon.

A while later Rose went back to the camp and was able to fall asleep, satisfied with what she had accomplished in her training. She woke up again a while later. "The time is 7:33 AM." Her Poketech said upon request. "Amirah?" Rose said. The little Pokemon began to stir. Rose leaned forward from her sleeping bag. She could sense Brandon, Kyo, and Rocky already up. She yawned. "Good morning." She said sleepily.

A little while later they got up and started moving.

As everyone headed off to bed, Alice found a nice place under some trees and rolled out her sleeping bag. Sleeping outside had always appealed to her. She loved waking up in the middle of the night and seeing how far the stars had traveled across the sky. In a dark place like Gem Island, the stars were more brilliant than she had ever seen. Her Pokemon gathered around her and soon drifted to sleep. She watched Aster sleeping next to the shiny Bulbasaur for a moment. The young female glowed slightly in the darkness.

Alice woke up the next morning to sounds of movement and chatting. It seemed most of the others were already awake. Her Pokemon had all wandered off already, to find food or play. She yawned sleepily then rolled up her bedding and went to track them down.

Tirtouga hadn't gotten far. It lapped at a small pond, presumably wishing it could go for a swim. "Aster!" Alice called, and the Ivysaur appeared followed by the Bulbasaur which had taken to following him everywhere. "Can you carry Tirtouga?"

Aster reached out with his vines and scooped up the turtle.

Plume squawked from a nearby tree and dove down at Alice. She yelled out and ducked and the bird went gliding straight past her and landed clumsily on the ground.

"Plume!" Alice chided. "What are you doing?" she couldn't help but laugh. Aria was circling above and it seemed Plume wanted to fly too.

Not long after, the group got moving. They must have looked like a travelling caravan with all their Pokemon surrounding them.

After a while they saw an older man ahead. He was sitting on a large stone. "Watch out young people. This routes not safe for young travels like yourself." he said.

Ever curious, Plume hopped up to him. Alice ran after her, worried she would try and climb all over the man. She always seemed to wan to climb as high as possible. When she reached Plume though, she had stopped next to the rock, her head tilted.

"Are you alright, sir?" Alice asked politely. "What happened?"

Rocky rubbed his eyes and looked around the area. Something moved nearby. His eyes focused and he saw it. a Weedle!

"Don't move", he whispered to his pokemon. "We don't want to spook it!" slowly and carefully he reached towards his Pokeball pouch. He slowly opened it and drew out a great ball. He wasn't going to take any changes on this one.

Suddenly the two tiny squirtles ran through playfully squirting everything and everyone. Rocky wiped off the water and listened to the complaints of his Pokemon who had been squirted. he looked over and the weedle was gone. Rocky frowned and put the Great ball away silently cursing whatever force was making weedles so scarce...(OOC-looking at you here, Max! ) . He would chase down a weedle later, right now he wanted to get back to town and buy a new suit and get a decent meal.

After starting off down the track they met a sad man who said, "Watch out young people. This routes not safe for young travels like yourself."

"Uh-oh, sounds like we be in danger. We might get into a fight. What do you think about that Fury?" Rocky asked his Charizard who was hovering overhead, excercising his new wings.

"CHARIZARD!" Fury bellowed his eager challenge to any dangers that might be close.

" Yes I am fine but there is a thief in this forest. I think he maybe a fossil poacher." The man paused

" You see I am a collector and with the unveiling of the Inquisitor Gem this weekend a lot of collectors have come out to see the rare gem and to lend our fossils to the rock museums brand new fossils exhibits. We are talking fossils so delicate they have never been brought back. The Fang Fossil and the Wand Fossil in magnificent condition. However all of that pales in comparison the gem." He explained

Alice tried not to look too shocked when the man mentioned the Inquisitor Gem. She looked at Rose. This was the same gem she had told the group about.

"Wow," Alice said to the man. "Did your fossils get stolen? That's horrible!"

Alice thought about what Brock had said all the way back in the Vermilion Pokemon Center. He had mentioned a fossil warehouse somewhere on One Island... and Bill... he had wanted them to deliver the Moon Gem to the stone museum on One Island. Then there was the Psychic Gem onboard the SS Anne. What was the deal with all these stones and gems?

"What exactly is the Inquisitor Gem?" she asked after a moment.

after 15 minutes so was Meghan. when Meghan was able to get going so started they to walk paul was in the back .
when the team had set up a camp fire so started Meghan to talk

" I think its time we all lay our cards down on the table. If we are going to travel together we need to truly trust each other. Ill start."

then she told every one about her when she was little paul stayed quiet and you could se a tear in his eye.
then Rocky told them a little more lighthearted story.
and then it was Tys turn followed by Kyo, Rose and alice.

the Next day:

paul woke up quite early with pidgeotto, butterfree, flaaffy by him venusaur was also sleeping a couple of meters away.
the first thing paul noticed was that trapinch was not biting his foot but still sleeping. paul got up and then one after another his pokemon waked up to.
when paul and the rest were ready so started they to go. Then they meet an old man, paul stayed in the back and let the others do the talking.

Rose noticed that the Beldum was still following her. That was good. They would find its trainer soon. Hopefully... After walking for only 15 minutes, they encountered a man. "Watch out young people. This routes not safe for young travels like yourself." Rose was mildly concerned by this statement, but they had done a lot of "not safe" things in the past few days. This would probably end up being something minor. Alice questioned what had happened. " Yes I am fine but there is a thief in this forest. I think he maybe a fossil poacher." The man explained.

That was bad, but Rose didn't think it was anything for them to be particularly worried about. "You see I am a collector and with the unveiling of the Inquisitor Gem this weekend a lot of collectors have come out to see the rare gem and to lend our fossils to the rock museums brand new fossils exhibits." Rose's concern began to show now.

"An inquisitor gem." She thought. She remembered how Dredd had been called to the power of the inquisitor gem when Will had tried to use it. What if someone tried to use this one? They were lucky that the previous inquisitor gem had been destroyed, but if Dredd got a hold of one, he would be unstoppable. Alice questioned what the inquisitor gem was. Rose didn't realize that she hadn't explained about the gem to everyone. She wasn't sure what everyone had gone through on the ship after they were separated, so she had just assumed that they had known.

"Where and when is the gem being revealed?" Rose said suddenly. They had to go and make sure that no one tried to use the gem.
