Alice dropped off her egg to get checked and then went over and joined Aster and the others. Nurse Joy soon appeared and offered them a feast to thank them for stopping Surge.

It was nice to be thanked for once rather than having to run and hide. Alice approached the food tables and began piling up a plate. The food was amazing after so many days of roughing it. She enjoyed every bite.

Alice looked down at Aster who was already happily munching on an apple held by one of his vines. When she looked up again, she was met by a cupcake to the face courtesy of Rocky and his Charizard.

"Gah!" she yelled as the cupcake slid down the side of her face and onto the ground.

"Saur!" Aster grinned, scooping it up with his other vine and taking a bite. "Ivy!" he said approvingly.

Alice licked the icing from her lips and scooped as much as she could off her face. At least it tasted good. Rocky burst out laughing and Alice did her best to plaster a stern frown on her face but in the end she couldn't help laughing too. She would like nothing more than to start a mega food fight, but thought it would be disrespectful to the people who were honouring them.

"It's so sweet of you to share, Rocky," she said sarcastically. "How about I give you a hug?" She ran at him with sticky hands, threatening to wipe the icing all over his clothes.

When they arrived back at the Pokemon Center, they found that the people from the town had prepared them an entire feast. Rose had been saying earlier that they should go get something to eat, but she almost felt guilty eating all of this. Still, it would be even more rude to turn this all down now that the food was already here. "Thank you!" Rose said a bit awkwardly. Rose ate a bit slow at first, but once realizing how good it was, she began to eat faster.

Rose watched as a cupcake went flying from Rocky's side of the table into Alice's face. "Alice, are you okay?" She asked, unable to stop herself from giggling a bit as she spoke. She began eating her own cupcake as she watched Alice chase after Rocky.

when paul and his pokemon came back so where the people from the town there and had made a bunch of food for the group
paul was hungry but also a little intimidated by the amount of people. He began to eat felling a bit awkward.
then out of nowhere so was a cupcake flying at Alices face.unsurprisingly paul laughed a little but he did try to hide it because he felt a little bad for Alice.

Stacy followed the others in grabbing a small plate of food. She sat down next to Rose and watched the cupcake fly over head. She couldnt help but burst out laughing when Alice got up to return to the favor to Rocky.

"How about I give you a hug?" Alice said running towards Rocky.

As she did that Stacy pulled out her camera and snapped a picture.
" We should get a picture or two to remember all of this." She smiled however got distracted as Ty got up and ran over for two plates which he could hardly carry. When overzealous trainer fell down trying get to get back to the table more food went up into the air. Stacy helped her brother helping clean the food out his face and hair.
"Ty.." she laughed

Alice and Brettles began to have fun and relax. This even got Rose to relax a little and laugh. Kyo, Paul and Brandon grabbed food and almost everyone was finally together eating. As the others got distracted having fun Meghan took her lead leaving the area without anyone noticing. She walked out away from the area happy that her friends were finally having fun. However to Meghan this was no time to relax. She called back most of the pokemon expect Sappy who she hadnt spent much time with since getting her partners back. Sappy nuzzled his trainer.

"Cross ?" He questioned as Meghan found a spot found a well lit area away fromt he pokemon center to pull out her journal and map. Meghan began to write down what she had learned so far about the gems and the kidnapped pokemon. The notes that she found didnt give her much help but didnt reference some places. Which helped her figure out potential locations. As she wrote down her notes Reese walked up.

"Mind if I sit." Reese said walking over from the Pokemon Center.

Meghan nodded
"Free Country."

Reese sat across from the trainer.
"The food looks good, did you grab some?"

Meghan nodded.
"Yeah a little bit but I needed to focus on something else thats been bothering me." She said passing over the papers from the PI.

" Reese right?" She asked as she was not there when he revealed himself as the former champ. (And no one tells Meghan anything :P )

He nodded

" You seem pretty experienced with being trainer and from what Ive heard handling yourself in battles. Can I assume that, that means you have been mixed up in a trouble before?" She asked

Reese nodded
" I have seen my fair share. What are these?" he asked looking at the papers.

" Ohhh.."

He took a moment.
" I always found that major cities were a good place to start. I would try Saffron City." Reese said offering some help.

" But..." He said looking for more.

" Yeah, I kind of figured any place with that many imported pokemon should be a focus. This isnt really whats concerning me..My friends and I have not had more than a few moments to relax since we started our journey.. right now we should be on our way to One Island because there is a Gem there that is connected to the a Gem that Rose destroyed on the S.S. Anne..but I dont want take this moment away from them."

Sappy nuzzled his trainer trying to get her to cheer up. Meghan smiled patting the big bugs head.

Reese listen to what she had to say.
" I actually try my best to avoid any of this stuff..I couldnt handle the journey that you are describing. Thats why I am here." his eyes looked away slightly ashamed.

" Power Gems are something I have heard about though as stone collecting is big on the islands. I have come across one once before and tried to destroy it. But the Gem is made of energy and it reformed...I think you should talk with Dr. Natasha Rea on One Island she may be able to explain of all of this and dont worry about getting to One Island. Ill get the boat prepped and take you and your friends in the morning." he smiled Reese Pikachu jumped on on his shoulder with Eevee following behind.

"Thank you." She said putting her stuff away and heading back towards the fest.

" You are doing great Meghan." Reese said jumping up to walk with her and go back to the fest.

Once there he patted her on the shoulder.
" Your friends helped me battle a Zapdos and all of you saved this island. Its the rest of the world who should be worried about you." He smiled walking.

Reese walked across the outdoor dinner area and joined the others.
"Hey guys! Great stuff out there." He said pulling up a seat next to Rocky.

Meghan hung back the entrance. One of the nurse walked over waving Meghan to follow.

The entire group finally arrived at the pokemon center and to an extremelly pleasant surprise. Waiting for them was a full fledged feast, courtsey of the city of Gem for the group helping to save the island. Brandon laughed with pleasure, finally the recoginition and honoring they deserved! The rest of Kanto ought to take after Gem City. When Gem City wants to honor a group of folks who helped then out, they throw them a feast, not hunt them down and try to throw them in jail like the rest of Kanto. Brandon let out his pokemon, so that they could finally eat properly, he gave them the gesture that said "Go ahead and dig in" so that his pokemon wouldnt hold back. His pokemon were big on manners, being polite and being serious as well and they werent about to dig in without making sure they were allowed to eat the food. Then Brandon grabbed a plate and piled as much food as he could onto it and then went and sat down to eat. The food was gone withon minutes and Brandon went up to fill up his plate again. He ate the food, every last bite, it was delicious and refreshing after eating 'on the go' food for a number of days. Once Brandon was done, he reached into his pack and pulled out 1 empty water bottle and 2 and a half filled water bottles and walked over to a water cooler, he filled all 3 up to the brims, then carefully screwed to the caps back on and placed them back in his pack. Brandon walked over to the food table, he noticed a couple boxes of pop tarts on the desert table. He picked up a smores flavored poptart box and he put it in his pack. Since everything at the feast was free for them, it wouldnt be stealing and Brandon needed to replenish a little bit of his 'on the go' food supply, as he and his pokemon had gone through abit of it. All he had left now was a full box of granola bars and another box of granola bars that was half full along with his shrinking supply of beef jerky. With how their journies had been so far, he would need as much 'on the go' food as he could scavage.

Once he had re zipped his pack, he walked over and sat down once more so that he could begin to digest his food. Brandon looked around for his pokemon, he noticed they seemed to just be finishing up on eating. Brandon hoped they had ate as much as they could, who knew the next time they would be able feast or even just eat like this again.

Brandon decided he wanted to relax for now, he closed his eyes for a couple minutes, enjoying every second of the rest.

He settled back down, determined to polish off as much as he could. This was high quality food.

Reese came down and sat beside him.

Reese smiled at Rocky.
" Of course I can! In fact I have been thinking about a special trainer session with all of you since you guys but Im not sure you are ready yet." He smiled

Reese looked around at the others.
"Paul, thanks again for the help on the building." Reese said

" the rest of you ...great job guys. Seriously you should all be proud of yourselves you took down a deranged gym leader with some crazy electric tech. To bad we couldnt stop the inventor. Those things were dangerous and meant to cause damage. Oh well. I think Im going to call it a night." Reese yawned

Reese said his goodbyes and took off. The others enjoyed the rest of there evenings.

The next morning the team was woken up from the there rooms or sleeping tents with the morning wake up bell that rung throughout Gem City. Breakfest was waiting for them in cafe in the Pokemon Center. As they all joined up to eat they were greeted by Nurse Joy.
" I have some good news for you and a favor to ask." behind her all the pokemon ( and I mean all the them Even the ones from ship.)

" You see you guys brought in all of these pokemon and to be hones they dont have owners..maybe they can join you guys."

Rose stayed pretty quiet for the rest of the night. She didn't notice that Meghan had left until a while after she was already gone. By now she was so full that she couldn't eat another bite. It felt good to finally have a break. For the first time in days she felt like just a normal trainer. It was about then that Reese walked in. "Great job guys. Seriously you should all be proud of yourselves you took down a deranged gym leader with some crazy electric tech." He told them all.

"Th-thanks." She said a bit awkwardly. Rose was one of the first to head to her room. After taking a hot shower for what felt like the first time in ages, she went to bed and fell asleep quickly. She woke up the next morning sweating. She had just had the same nightmare she had been having for the past two days. Again, she didn't remember the details, just the sounds of wind and rain. This time, she also thought she remembered something about a ship. She could hear a bell ringing throughout the city. "Time." Rose said to her poketech.

"The time is 8:30 AM." The poketech answered in an artificial sounding voice.

"Amirah." She said, waking up her Partner. She heard the chingling's familiar chime a moment before her surroundings began to come into focus. She headed downstairs to the Pokemon Center's cafe to see that breakfast was already waiting for them. She grabbed a plate of eggs and bacon and sat down.

Rocky paid for the elite comfort package and spent a night in pure luxury. He woke in the morning to find his clothed freshly washed and pressed. He walked downstairs to see how the others had fared through the night.

" I have some good news for you and a favor to ask. You see you guys brought in all of these Pokemon and to be honest they don't have owners... maybe they can join you guys."

Rocky looked up at the horde of Pokemon. There were a few in the group that he recognised. The Honedge that he had met yesterday was already floating over towards him. Rocky walked toward it. "I'll take care of this Honedge if you want." he said gripping the handle.

The ground seemed to spin for a moment when Rocky grabbed the Honegde. He was suddenly somewhere else. He stood upon a wall of a castle. A large blue dragon type Pokemon with a rider in strange armour was attacking him. He drew the Honedge, which grew in size to a blade almost as tall he was. The rider on the wall swung a spear at him, but he deflected it. A second viper quick stab of the spear came in at him. He was not fast enough to stop it...

Rocky snapped out of whatever that vision had been. "Est Sularus oth Mithas" he whispered. He didn't know what the words meant or where they came from, but the blade demanded the words be spoken. He released the handle and the honedge floated happily by his side.

"Are there any other Pokemon you need a hand with?" he asked.

"Well actually there is one more out the back, but it is nervous of all the commotion and a little bit dangerous." She pulled out her electronic organizer and tapped it. "Oh, in fact you have already met this little terror, you brought her in from the ship. The name you entered into the system was, 'Little Miss Bitey'!"

"Oh she isn't a bad little Deino, she just likes to play rough." Rocky said laughing.

"Yeah, well you want her? She's yours!" Nurse Joy said. "There are quite a lot of lost Pokemon, take a look around and if you feela connection to any of them, let me know. I'll sign the paperwork."

Rocky walked out the back to find the Deino in an enclosure by herself.

"Come here, Little Miss Bitey!" Rocky called from the edge of the enclosure. The Deino rushed over biting towards the sound. She bumped into the side of the enclosure. Rocky Reached in and gently but firmly took hold of her head, allowing him to safely stroke her neck. "I wan't you to join my team, Bitey! My number one rule, is no biting me! Do you think you can handle that"

"Dei! Dei!" said Bitry in reply. Rocky took that for a yes.

"OK I'll go arrange for the adoption papers. I'll be back in a bit." Rocky patted teh Deino again and walked back into the fray to have one last look around the room of Pokemon. He saw the two tiny squirtles excitedly running around Meg.

"Hey, Meg, can you handle both of those Squirtles? I reckon one of them would be a fantastic counterbalance to Fury in combat. I will take one if you want."

After awhile, the guy Red walked in and began talking to a couple of people in the group. Brandon watched him silently until his pokemon walked up to him to re group, having eaten all they could and relaxed enough to move comfortably. Brandon looked at then all and smiled saying "Did you guys eat well? Hope so, you guys deserve it and earned it after all your hard work, dedication, strength and loyality" then he yawned and stretched, now that he had eaten, his body now turned its attention to addressing his only remaining need: sleep. Brandon could tell his pokemon were a little tired as well, even though they were doing a good job at covering it up. Brandon knew his pokemon and knew when they were tired or something no matter how well they hid it. Brandon then got up, grabbed his backack then said to his pokemon "Come on guys, let's go get some sleep", he motioned with his arm to follow him then he walked around until he found his room. Once in, Brandon took off his pack and put it on the floor next to him, then he began to crawl into bed. Before tucking in and going to sleep, Brandon offered each of his pokemon the option to sleep in their pokeballs if they wanted. They all accepted except Skiller and Marshtomp, as usual they elected to stay out and take turns guarding in case of any trouble. Then Brandon turned out the light in the room, tucked himself in and said good night to his pokemon "Good night guys, get some sleep, we should be safe here. It is ok to rest and I want you guys to rest, you earned it". Then with that, Brandon turned onto his side, adjusted his pillow and blanket to be comfortable and went to sleep.

In the morning he woke up to sunlight streaming through the blinds in the window, by the bed Skipper and Marshtomp lay sleeping close to his bed. Brandon quietly began getting ready for the day, as he did so Skipper woke up followed soon by Marshtomp. When the 2 awoke, they began having a groggy conversation, mainly Skipper though. From what Brandon could make out through their pokemon language, it appeared as though Marshtomp was supposed to keep watch Skipper slept, but had dosed off. Skipper politely confronted the water type asking Marshtomp how he could fall asleep on watch. Marshtomp began defending itself by saying it was tired from all the walking and stuff the last couple days and that in the quiet of the room, he just dosed off. Before it could get any further Brandon broke in "Ok ok settle down guys. I am glad you both got rest, you earned it and like I said, we are pretty safe here, it is ok to sleep, your both out so even if someone were try to attack us unexpectedly, you would both be there to respond quickly". Come lets go meet the others. With that, Brandon gathered his stuff, made the bed and then began walking down the halls on his way to the main lobby, munching on a granola bar while doing so, behind him Skipper and Marshtomp followed closely. Once downstairs he heard the tail end of Jenny's little speech with the group and about the pokemon thing. The rest of the group fanned out looking out for pokemon they might like. Brandon sat down and waited for the rest of the group to come back and re group.
