Brandon watched some Paras wonder across the path. He heard that Cerulean's gym is water, he looked Metapod, no it wouldnt be fair for him to be the only one... He gave Siipper a tap of the shoulder, to break his gaze from the bikers, he pointed to the Paras, "We are capturing one, do NOT knock out, I know I know its a grass type, but we need it ok?" Skipper sighed and nodded his head, then he walked 2 steps towards the paras, 15 feet away, to demostrste how easy it would be for him to take it, he whipped up his tail and a little ball of flame deattached from it, he took it on his finger, then pointed it at the paras, he gave a blow from his mouth, the ember shot toward the paras and hit it dead on, the little paras fell over stunned, a little black mark showed on its side. Skipper gestured for Brandon to throw the pokeball, then gave a dismissive wave toward the injuried paras and turned around to keep watching the cyclist. Brandon took a pokeball out of his bag, tossed it at the Paras.

Brandon turned around to face the cyclist right as they were talking about Max being transferred in armored tanks! Damn! Brandon said qiuetly "Max!"he suddenly got everything into his bag, took a sip of water, adjusted the strap of pack, began to walk down the path again. They had to free max! They had to! They would succeed, he would make sure of that!
