Brandon and his pokemon watched as the grunts called out their pokemon. As it became clear there was going to be fight, Skipper began using hand motions issue orders to the team. Then as the grunts and their pokemon came at them, that was all they needed, now it was self defense. Skipper started things off, by taking down a nearby Rattan.

Skipper made sure he took the pokemon down without breaking formation as prepared for another one.

Mankey also had taken down a Sandshrew that had gotten too close for comfort.

Mankey also was careful not break the formation.


Next Pidgetto took down another Sandshrew that had approached his part of the formation.

Pidgetto took down the Sandshrew flawlessy and didn't break formation. He prepared for the next pokemon.

While Pidgetto had been taking care of the Sandshrew, Marshtomp had tackled a Rattan to the ground.

Meanwhile back where Mankey was another pokemon had come too close. He struggled to wrestle down a Rattan.

Brandon noticed Mankey faint returned him to his pokeball "Great job, you did what you could, come and rest now" and then he pressed the button and the fighting type dissappeared inside.

Metapod was next to him in the formation moved up to the Rattan and finished him off.

Brandon saw Pidgetto getting ready to strike at an Ekans that was getting close to him, so he reached over and gave him a potion to help him out.

Now the team was on its last legs and they began to work together to take down a Zubat flying over head.

His pokemon had put up a mighty great fight, but the sheer number of grunts, was just too much for them. He was proud of them. He smiled for a second, then sighed.

He says "A deal is a deal. I shall go with you..." as hd says this... He raises his hands in the air.
