A pokemon Breeder walked up to challenge Rocky next.

" A balanced diet is a must for pokemon health. What are you feeding your pokemon? Your rattata looks tough." She said.

"Thanks, Speedy here will eat just about anything that he can get his hands on. He has an incredibly fast metabolism."

Speedy heard the Breeder say nice things about him and ran over to her. He strectched up his head and she scratched behind his ears affectionately.

"Let's get battle number two done." Rocky said.

The breeder nodded and sent out three very healthy looking Pokemon, obviously her prime breeding stock.

First came a Pidgey. A flying type meant that Rusty could come out and play. Rusty ran after the Pidgey, who in turn flew up into the air and dive-bombed the poor little Aron. It was a stalemate, Rusty couldn't reach the Pidgey, and the Pidgey kept bouncing off Rusty's steel body ineffectually. "Use Rock throw, Rusty!' Rocky instructed. Rusty nodded and threw a rock at the pidgey, finishing the first bout.

The trainer then sent out a large Electabuzz. Rocky had two ground types, but the only one big enough to take the Electabuzz down was Professor needles.

"Prof, are you in good enough shape to take on that Electabuzz?" Rocky asked the Nidoking. The Nidoking looked up and shrugged and then gave a confident grin. "At least refresh yourself before the fight. Drink this." Rocky gave the Nidoking a refreshing lemonade.

Feeling refreshed the large Nidoking raced into combat. The two large Pokemon made a lot of noise. The nidoking was roaring a challenge while the Electabuzz hissed its protest at being unable to electrocute its opponent.

The last Pokemon the Breeder brought out was a perfectly manicured Clefable. It looked so graceful and elegant... until it looked at Rocky gave a threatening glare and pounded it's fist into its hand. It may look pretty, but it was full of aggression.

"Sniper, I choose you." The Arbok, slowly slithered towards the Clefable. Something was clearly wrong with the Arbok. Had it been injured. Before Rocky could withdraw it, the enemy Clefable took advantage of the slow moving Arbok and attacked with a double-slap move.

Sniper gave a victorious hiss and stopped pretending to be hurt. He accepted the double-slap stack and sprang at the Clefable, wrapping himself around it's neck and sinking his fangs into its side. The Clefable was pinned and unable to attack further as Sniper's poison did its work.

Rocky shook hands with the trainer and started to say something, when a thunderous cry deafened him, "GYARADOS!" Rocky looked around and saw Meg fighting against the most beautiful Pokemon he had ever seen. It was huge and angry and powerful.

"I have got to get one of those." he said watching the fight.
