Alice was horrified when she heard that the thieves might be destroying the fossils. There were real Pokemon in there, just waiting to be revived! How could anyone do that? She felt the easy anger that had been with her since Cerulean roll through her, her hands shaking slightly.

"I'll be careful, Brock. Thank you." Alice replied after a minute. She thought of her Pokemon and what had happened in Cerulean. She would do her best not to take her Pokemon into such danger again.

After the conversation was done, Alice handed the phone back to the nurse and thanked her. She calmed herself by pulling out her Pokedex and looking up the entries for her new team members. It would be a tough battle for them against Surge, and she wanted to be prepared.
