Rose could feel the gem's power, but she still couldn't control herself. The Tentacruel approached, and although She didn't want to, and she really didn't even know exactly what it was that she was doing, she began ordering it to destroy the ship. "Stop..." She said, using all of her strength to try and resist Dredd's influence. The tentacruel slammed down a tentacle near her, smashing through the deck. She didn't realize the full extent of the damage it had caused yet.

Tears flooded from her eyes. She had never felt so powerless before. Suddenly though she realized that a door had appeared near her. She turned towards it, and without quite realizing what she was doing, opened it and stepped through. She wasn't sure what had happened, or where she was, but it seemed like she was in control again. It didn't seem like she was in immediate danger anymore, but she was still shaking.

She noticed the jail cell at the center of the room. "Hi Rose." The image of Max said to her. But something was different. This time, it didn't seem like just an image.

"M-Max!?" Rose called out, running up to the cell and placing her hands on the bars. "Is it- Is it really you?" She questioned. She couldn't believe it. Was this really happening? Had she managed to dig deep enough to reach the real Max? She had completely let her guard down to the possibility that this room was created by Dredd to mess with her head, but she really didn't think that it was.
